  1. BTW, has there been any update on Miro??
  2. I was actually thinking Joe might be the guy Tony Khan has been hyping. Others have said Bandido and that makes sense to me too.
  3. I mean yeah, dude can have cool conversations with people -and he has some really funny or really interesting guests on from time to time- but I don't think he brings more the table than a whole lot of podcasts host. So his show being so massive is kind of a head scratcher to me.
  4. Yeah, why would Kenny hate Ospray? Sounds like a future marquee matchup. I don't think I've seen an Ospray match in like 2 years and have zero intention of changing that, but there's no doubt that's a dream match.
  5. I thought it was pretty in line with what Rock usually does on social media. He basically co-signed a video of Rogan saying "I'll be better at this". Regardless at how genuine anyone feels about Rogan's apology, Rock was trying to promote a future appearance on the podcast with a dude that "apologized" and promised a better product. Him trying to get on JRE makes sense too considering how popular that show is (I'll never understand it personally, but oh well).
  6. South Park IS a 30 minute show, was the season premiere 1 hour? It seems like the Big Bang Theory lead in dipped once fans caught that Mox was facing Yuta and never really recovered (makes sense considering the trainwresck that was that Brandi segment). The main event constantly gaining viewers is a good sign at least.
  7. No doubt. I thought the card was strong enough to at least keep the same trend so a dip -with no big competition- it's something worth knowing more about.
  8. Worst Dynamite ratings since the TBS move. Didn't see that one coming tbh.
  9. I thought Punk wrestled perfectly last night. Disagree with his selling, that shit was beautiful to watch. It did puzzle me Chicago wasn't as into his comeback as I thought. Granted, they were loud in a lot of parts of the match but I saw Punk's performance as something that deserved a crazy hot building. Maybe it was because fans thought there wasn't a lot was on the line for this MJF match? Sure, it's been a marquee feud but it's not like the stakes were high (kinda puts in perspective how W/L records aren't enough by themselves). I also think a lot of his past performance have been good but never in line with what a lot of folks here perceived them at. I've never seen a wrestler get so much love for cosplaying another, but considering it's Bret I guess I shouldn't be that surprised.

    Neville/PAC

I have noticed in AEW how he does stuff faster and more crisp than anyone that I've seen. Like, half the time I expect this dude to collide against his opponent and get fucked up because he was doing too much, too fast but he manages to execute perfectly, not hurt anyone and make shit look legit. I don't think he was this good in DG or WWE, am I being victim of recency bias or nah?
  11. Kendrick's apology reads like he's still stoned.
  12. I didn't think that needed to be 40 minutes at all. A very good match that got stretched for no good reason. MJF did his thing and continues to prove he's a worthy wrestler but this was Punk's show, dude made the match compelling with his selling and desperation. In a weird sense I felt this was kind of "wasted" performance, if Punk has this exact same match in Chicago but it's for the AEW belt, the crowd would've been molten hot and the atmosphere would've elevated it to an instant classic. Still, Punk continues to show that when he gives a shit and the it's big time match, he delivers like few can. I know AEW tends to move along from feuds even when they feel they're not completely over, but this felt like chapter 1 of 3 or even more.
  13. Kinda surprised the crowd was so quiet before that commercial break. Punk's done an stellar job this match, specially his selling. This match has felt long though, not sure it needed to be.
  14. Wow. There's gonna be a whole bunch of fuckery late in this match. Isn't there a 30 miinute time limit for this match? That leaves 15 minutes of more TV left.
  15. I had no idea Jake was still with the company.
  16. Was about to post exactly that. She's been very average. At least her booking matches that.
  17. Well damn, Danielson was wondering what entrance to use and then they cut the shot away.
  18. Dragon still bitter as fuck, I love it
  19. Yeah, I was trying to remember if Kendrick said this kind of insane shit on those shoots. There were some many stupid stuff that even if he said some incredibly ignorant and insensitive thing it kinda went under the radar trying to keep up with the crazy talk he would be spouting. Damn, Spanking was Trumping before it was a thing.
  20. Is Punk vs MJF still an unofficial n°1 contenders match? I remember Punk really pushing the narrative of him going for the belt before the MJF feud but I haven't watch the past 2 weeks so I'm kinda lost on the status of the match. There's gotta be a Keith Lee appearance right? seems like the perfect time for that kind of "surprise". With Danielson being so interested in Mox matches, I wonder if Kendrick gets destroyed and he goes for the safe. Or if he swerves and continues to be a heel by beating the shit out of Kendrick for losing to Mox
  21. The 2014 one? I always thought Bryan's momentum was too big and some changes would be made in time for Mania. Of course I wasn't expecting the whole show to be about him, but I was fairly confident he would end up in the title match against Batista and Orton. Also, that Rumble still had The Shield going strong (people wanted Roman to win as a consolation price without Bryan) and the company was coming off one of the best in ring years they had ever had, specially on TV. This one felt dire. The roster, outside of Brock, Roman, Seth and Lashley (and only Brock was in the Rumble, and lasted a couple of minutes winning easily) felt lifeless, unmotivated and going through the motions. That to me is way more depressing than Vince being stubborn about D-Bry.
  22. Yeah, I don't think this was the worst Rumble in terms of quality (it was certainly a really bad RR, don't get me wrong) but it was easily the most depressing to watch.
  23. LMAO. As someone who stopped watching altogether for close to 9 months, all this PPV told me is that all but 2 male wrestlers are worth something. Everyond else is a bunch of steps below Roman and Brock. And everyone should pay attention to Roman vs Brock. And don't forget, the biggest match is Roman vs Brock. Roman vs Brock everyone!!!. The state of this roster was truly depressing. Bad Bunny felt like the freshest wrestler that could get legit momentum by winning (outside of Orton in his hometown). Big E being just another dude was sad as hell. @KawadaSmile warned us about this but it hit differently actually seeing how sad is the state of this company.
  24. Conejo Malo vs Sheamus would be an interesting matchup.
