Okay, I was growing disinterested in this show and was regretting staying up. But Brandi and Shaq delivered. Lol awesome. Where the hell is it going though? Brandi and Cody are all over the fucking shop.

I'm no Charlotte Flair fan but to say she didn't help get Becky Lynch massively over is complete hogwash. Yes, Becky was always popular, but Charlotte getting punked, chumped and beaten by her for months as she got to look like a badass took her to another level.

ADD wrestling tonight. I wished they'd cut two minutes off every match and let stuff breath. What the hell happened to Brodie Lee? Seems everyone's been oddly quite about him.

Oh gosh, that just reminded me of the awful shit they were doing in 2018. Dr Shelby and all that nonsense. Boy, they've come far since then. I do wonder if they've blown off their feud completely or if they're keeping them apart until Mania season. I don't see much else on the horizon they can do.

Miro's shit without Lana.

Haha! I love that idea. The meta/WWEsux stuff is mostly useless but that could actually be effective in getting someone over.

That's the thing, I don't think Sasha maximises her tv time in the way Billie Kay does. If there were crowds, it feels like with every promo she'd be getting less over. I'm still not convinced Vince is particularly high on Sasha, probably for the same reasons, as all her promos tend to get cut short. Bayley and Bianca Belair seem more like the type Vince would push, with their strong grasp on character work, not Banks and her bad instincts. Switching gears - he's a stupid shithead and it's a struggle to enjoy anything he does, but man, Riddle vs Sheamus is a god damn fucking awesome match-up. Their chemistry is off the charts. It's a joy watching Sheumus boot his face off.

Survivor Series 2020 Drew McIntyre is just the #2, biatch

I loved it. Slow start but it caught fire and turned into a great hoss battle. Both men being perfectly slotted as characters helped it significantly. If by some miracle both guys are this hot when crowds come back the rematch could be special. Loved Banks vs Asuka too. It was almost the opposite to the main event. Drew and Roman threw bombs and played to the cheap seats, while these two kept it close and tight. Blistering, great finishing sequence with the right winner. Sasha matches tend to be spoiled by how sulky/excited she is, so its good she'll just be winning for a while. Tag match was fun although it didn't quite click for me. Xavier is so much better than the other three. Everything else was a waste of time. Haven't given a shit about Taker in about 20 years. -
Bayley had a genuinely great match with Carmella earlier in the year. Carmella was a babyface which probably works better for her. I'm still rooting for Carmella in this Sasha feud though. Sasha gets more hateable every week. Mella blindsiding her with superkicks each week should be the new Lana through a table spot.

Orton started off hot this year and seemed motivated during the Edge feud. The angle where he Pillamnized his neck was excellent, although unfortunately it's been retroactively undermined by so many similar angles since. The Drew match at Summerslam was really good. But yeah, he's fallen off and has been same old boring Orton for a while now. In WWE its hard to pick anyone that stands out for a great year because of no crowds and terrible booking. Drews been the best babyface they've had in forever but you can only do so much when you're working with a stale roster that has been beaten into the ground. I think Bayley has had a fantastic year and saved her career in some ways. She's had good matches with women who had never had good matches previously and her reinvention as a heel was a joy to see. Roman is the best thing in wrestling but I fear his acting matches will grow stale soon. Everyone else just kinda blends in.

Leon Ruff is awesome. Best North American champ in an age.

This surprises me. What did you think of the Revolution build? I thought that was ten times better.

Ricochet made his bed when he tweeted out that he was happy with wrestling on Main Event. I agree the team with Black was the best work of his WWE run, fun odd pairing that somehow worked. Both have floundered ever since.

WWE TV 10/26 - 11/1 Afa and Sika endorsed the Usos getting beat up

Hope you guys are ready for Randy Orton vs The Fiend and Fiendess!! -
Ouch. They're dropping like flies across the Wednesday brands at the moment. That's at least three injuries across one set of AEW tapings. Rein your shit in.

Ali!! So glad to see them finally do something with this guy. It's far from ideal but you could tell just from his look when he said "get 'em!" that he has the 'it' to pull this stuff off. He's so beyond those dorks Ricochet and Apollo. Would enjoy a feud with him vs Kofi to play up to their recent history. Fingers crossed they don't give him a wacky name. Nattie might be painfully boring but she can go, there's a reason she's always working with the greener women. I liked Mandy/Otis/Sonya as much as anyone and she hits a good knee, but she's awkward as hell. I don't think it's a coincidence they always drop her push.

How is the atmosphere for these shows? Does it distract from the action? I'm thinking of checking some of these matches out, but that aspect makes me hesitant to dive in.

Needlessly overbooked that but I found it funny. Wrong person won.

Really hard to have a stand out cruisers match when everyone is having cruiser matches. Really liked the finish, came off surprisingly natural and uncontrived. Who the hell was the guy who run in to help Swerve? Never seen him before.
