Whenever people ask about KENTA to New Japan on the Observer board the usual response is that he's not well liked at all on a personal level by NJPW, I never actually bothered asking for more info but I think the jist was how rough he is with trainees and the liberties he sometimes takes in matches. Like he just tried to straight up fight Kanemoto (I think) during a match at some stage. Maybe someone here would know more on that.

Shitty main event apart from the nutty header Cena took, probably was a botch but still, good grief.

Terrible in every way. Cena came out to total silence. Amazing how ham fisted the whole thing was. They tried teasing a Cena/Orton match in a Rumble some time back and it got no sold, same happened in the backstage segment, still though, that non response was something to behold.

That powerbomb was nuts. Also probably the best Bryan has ever hit the knee. Harper is so great at selling the GTS... and pretty great at everything else. Very bland until Bryan got his tag but was fun towards the end.

Can they just give the divas title to Renee to wear as she interviews people? I'd be in favour of that move.

That was an excellent match, bunch of guys got some shine and Roman was booked really well. Goldust and Rey formed a bit of a dream team at the end there.

HBK missed that kick by a mile, those bandy eyes have finally gotten the better of him. Was a joke finish really. HHH took a terrible bump off the knee also, time to cut these two chumps loose clearly.

Yeah Storage Wars really fell off when Dave left, the other guy they got in wasn't much of a character. I mean whenever Dave and Jarrod faced off, it was an automatic three star auction. This is all you're going to get I think: This man has no business in the wrestling... business if that has him so shook, it was just a fancy light up curtain. The whole thing wouldn't have annoyed me so much if we at least got some sort of announcement, the match is a draw or whatever, I need some closure here. Whatever happened to getting the official word.

There was some iffy stuff in Ryback/Cena, Ryback just getting back to it after the FU table bump/count, Cena's weird sleeper(?) thing, but it was still 50 times better than I thought it would be. Ryback always cutting off Cena's comebacks was pretty cool and he drilled him with a few impressive power moves, the powerbomb was really sick. Really liked both Shield matches, the title changes were very nicely done. I have the HHH match on but I really have no interest in it, really a shame how they've booked Brock in this. Although I don't need to watch since I can hear HHH telling me what's going to happen next.

Suprised he went through with it, I was sure he'd cut a promo about how Henderson didn't actually lose, was screwed over etc.

In all seriousness though that's an interesting post Jerry, I'll have to dig out the old Oxford Dictionary of Critical Theory to find out if I fit in anywhere.

Except every fighter before every event. The internet's a cesspool. The Rousey stuff is only different if you're looking to make a narrative of it. Hold on, show me one post where someone says that a fighter should not be in the company... because he's a male. Show me a post where someone says they would like to rape a male fighter. Show me a post where they say that if they meet a male fighter they'll break his nose (that might be more common, they are not saying they'd punch him because of his gender though). Show me a post where someone says they'd grab a male fighters ass if they saw him on the street. Etc. If you think that sort of comment is made about even a small minority, or like anyone, before a fight I don't know what to tell you. It's easy for me to see the difference anyway, not sure how that is ''making a narrative of it'' or what my agenda would be in doing so.

I don't really have a strong opinion on the Zeb/Swagger promo either way but I have to say that it was awesome to watch the way he snapped back into character.

I saw that gif a little while ago and just assumed it was a planned spot, seems like they're out way too far to even attempt to make the apron. I could be wrong though, I don't know the guy giving the move, maybe it's a signature of his (hitting it on the apron I mean). If they meant to go to the floor I guess they're saying that in the heat of a fight you try everything, I've often seen people go for a Tornado DDT off a bar tbf. I noticed the constant apron stuff in PWG too, the Young Bucks are the worst for doing it for sure. I suppose it always gets a pop.
