I marked out so damn hard for Stacey's comeback post.

I think another thing that made it better for me was no commentary. Give me Taker trash-talking and ridiculously cheesy background music over Michael Cole screaming "THIS IS A WRESTLEMANIA MOMENT!!!" any day.

Also, Taker's character has really evolved in the last 30 years to where this iteration felt organic. Wyatt is cinematic often just for the sake of it. This boneyard match would have never worked had Taker not spent literally decades laying the groundwork for it.

Taker should do exclusively boneyard matches from now on

I set up an alarm to wake up early cuz I qanted to watch Becky-Shayna. I wake up and see it's already over. It was not even the opening match. Why the fuck was it the 3rd match on the card. What a weird placement. Bryan is a legit GOAT contender.

Who are these established stars who are apparently not even half the star that Orange Cassidy is? The Young Bucks? Like, I don't get this argument at all. The entire point is that the title should be put on a clear star, and that Darby, Sammy, etc are not on that level yet. If Cassidy gets a belt, his pops would probably decrease because that's not what his gimmick is. That's why you need to put it on an established star who can carry it well for its first reign. There are very, very few stars in AEW and the belt needs to go to one of them for it to mean something. And, no offence, but with respect to the tag titles, perhaps that's just you? There was intrigue about the Bucks losing, sure, but the tag title matches would lose viewers and the constant complaint at that time was that the titles did not mean anything. With the YB-Omega/Page angle, the titles have actually meant something because the fans care about Page now, and they care about the Young Bucks, so them fighting over the tag titles is making the titles seem important. It was also during their reign as champs that the tag title matches have started to consistently get good ratings.

Isn't California on lockdown as well? Triple H has said that Roman is going to be written out of the main event in a very "creative" way. Really hoping his cancer does not become a part of the storyline again.

I liked the show, but I hope they are not turning Darby heel. That would be like turning Mysterio heel. If that was just him showing frustration at eating a pin, then that's fine.

I don't like worked shoot bullshit in my wrestling so that promo was never going to be for me anyway, but I really wish they would stop burying the current era while always talking about how the attitude era - and now I guess some parts of the ruthless aggression era - was the time things were actually good.

Completely agreed with this. I wouldn't put the title on Omega because he has a title right now and I am guessing there are plans to introduce a 6-man title, but someone like Cody is a perfect fit. Him being on TV every week and really getting over the importance of the TNT title and how much it means to him is the best way to establish this title imo. Darby can be the guy who beats Cody to take the belt off him, finally getting a win over Cody after two attempts. That would mean more for the title and for Darby's career imo.

With WWE apparently going on hiatus after WM, do they still put the title on Shayna? I think her title win should happen in front of tens of thousands of fans, but WWE clearly have made their peace with that for both Shayna and Drew.

I would honestly prefer a two night WM to a one night 8 hour show. The last couple of WMs have had a couple of good matches but have also made me hate wrestling at times cuz it's such a fucking slog.

Hoping they really establish it by having a top guy hold it the first time, like Dusty did in the 80s with the US title once JCP became the only major NWA territory.

Assuming Braun beats Goldberg, when all this is over, does Roman get to beat Braun or do they shaft him yet again, this time for the horrible crime of having a compromised immune system because of cancer.

Now that the coronation of their top guy has been postponed for like the 15th time, surely it's time to swallow pride and push back Wrestlemania? They have so much golden content in their vault, I doubt their TV partners would be upset about them going away for a couple of months.
