  1. Love Corny when he is talking about old wrestling. He is a brilliant storyteller and can make basically any incident interesting. His mind is made up on some modern wrestlers though and he keeps losing his shit and screaming about them and would love to cancel them. It is what it is. A pity cuz I I don't think there are many people in wrestling who would be good at teaching how to cut promos, and Corny is definitely one of the best at it.
  2. Mox clearing through the Inner Circle to get to Omega and then the two punching each other to death got me more hyped for their match than all the barbed wire broomsticks. I think Mox just feels like a far bigger star than Omega and I hope he wins at Full Gear.
  3. I think it's between the 2nd episode and this episode for my favourite episode of Dynamite, purely because of how hot Cody vs. Jericho is. I also think today they did a good job of teasing to Mox vs Omega, which was a feud they had perhaps been neglecting in the build.
  4. That brawl made sense and also did a great job hyping the PPV. Basic pro wrestling that makes sense. It might have gone a bit too long but it was still cool to watch and potentially built a long-term program. Loved it and loved how they incorporated multiple feuds in it. It reminded me of WWF in the summer of 2000, although WWF had a much stronger roster.
  5. Page is less over than Guevera and should be jobbing to him.
  6. He mentioned Katie Vick and said "Believe me it was not my idea" and Jericho is the wrestler of the year sorry no counter arguments
  7. Heel teen Bieber would have been absolute money. I think it's commercial time, cuz on FITE, Jericho is interacting with the live crowd and it's great.
  8. I love it. He can go overboard sometimes but he does get me hyped for matches. I really liked the Omega-Mox video. I am guessing Mox will come after the main event is done and they will be fighting as the show goes off the air and the lights "go out" so to speak.
  9. I meant I meant Janela existing and being on TV.
  10. I am guessing this is the "Let's give Jim Cornette something to rant about" part of the show.
  11. I can totally get behind Awesome Kong as the heel world champ with Brandi as her manager. Let her kill everyone.
  12. Riho definitely has a personality and is clearly really over. She also does decently in the ratings from what I have read. The AEW women's division is extremely thin though. NXT has the best women's division in major league wrestling shows.
  13. Call me a mark, but after that Cody promo and this Jericho segment I am ordering the PPV rn. It's cheaper for us in India but that was a money promo by Cody and this Jericho vid was amazing
  14. I would like to argue that Khali was an objectively better draw than Rollins and really made India a lucrative market for WWE in a brief title reign.
  15. I really wish the Dark Order gimmick would die, but I guess them being jobbers in the tag team division is not that bad.
  16. Wow that was an incredible promo. He has to win after that right. Even if it's for a typical Dusty-like short reign, they have to pull the trigger after this.
  17. I know I sound a broken record but it really is incredible how over Cody is. 7 years ago the most hallucinogenic drugs would not have made me think he could be in this over.
  18. It was a good match and PAC looked good. Perhaps a bit too long though. His very short nasty promos are the best way to use him on the mic.
  19. Agreed. I am loving Dynamite so far, but I hope they give more promo time to wrestlers. In the ring so they can interact with the crowd, and Tony can obviously steer them through the promos and also plug their PPV. I was not around, but for those who started following wrestling on the internet in the mid-90s, has there ever been a time since the mid-90s when wrestling has felt as cold as it is now? WWE is in excellent financial shape, but I barely know anyone who follows wrestling anymore, and I live in India which is the 3rd biggest market for WWE after the USA and the UK.
  20. The go-home show for Full Gear. I hope we see some killer promos.
  21. https://www.cagesideseats.com/wwe/2019/11/5/20950564/wwe-raw-ratings-viewers-seth-rollins-adam-cole-nxt But hey, Seth got multiple apologies from Meltzer, so he is clearly a winner!
  22. I mean, if it's a genuine apology, Meltzer looks good - cuz then it's not a bullshit non-apology apology and is unequivocal. Something Seth could learn from. To his credit, Meltzer has in the past owned up to when he was wrong. A lot of us did think that Seth telling others to not air their dirty laundry on Twitter just seemed so ridiculous even for him. I guess we will hear Dave talk about it soon on his show. But the most interesting story involving the top guy in wrestling is a Twitter spat with Dave Meltzer is what, this era's version of Hogan burning dirtsheets and saying "Observe this"? We are truly in a dark age again.
  23. "Purveyor of misinformation" he tweets like the scriptwriters write his tweets as well
  24. I don't follow him on Twitter, but apparently he went off on Meltzer (again?) Which makes it even more hilarious if he was asked to tell his peers to not discuss any problems on social media.
  25. Nah, he will finally be the FIENDSLAYER
