That seems like a...very tame interview? No idea why Keller was acting like it's some horrible shit that'd make things difficult for Punk when he makes his return. Punk didn't even say anything bad about Hangman - just that the lack of trust made the entire dynamic of the match very insecure, which led to, in his opinion, a bad match cuz they didn't trust each other and were not focusing on the right things (I actually thought it was a pretty good match, tbh). Also funny to see Punk claiming he tried to reach out to the Elite, only to get lawyered and told to back off, because a few weeks ago, Meltz and Chico were complaining about how Punk has not reached out to anyone in the Elite despite the fact that it is so easy to turn up backstage and talk to the Elite lads. Punk contradicts him directly there. I like Dave a lot, but this Elite-Punk saga seems to have really broken his brain, especially Punk's actions and the repercussions therefrom, or the perceived lack of it. Dunno if he ever will be able to report objectively about Punk anymore.

Incredible how Eddie Kingston lights up the scene every time he appears. He truly *believes* in everything he stands for, is saying and doing, a rarity in modern wrestling

Talent can't do media interviews without office permission; this has been a rule way back since MJF did one. If Wade Keller and Chico genuinely think this might jeopardize Punk's comeback, then they are even bigger morons than I thought they were

The burying opponents thing only became a thing during the Thunder Rosa feud, and that was obviously caused due to them hating each other in real life. She was not burying Shida or Nyla or Statlander when she was feuding with them. She managed to make a Big Swole feud slightly entertaining. Will forever be a fan just cuz of that. Hayter didn't feel the focus cuz of Saraya, not Britt. Tbh the best choice would be Athena, she is having a career year and deserves a chance to run with the ball

I don't know how you all felt, but the show-closing brawl with Hangman coming back, making BCC retreat and challenging them to Anarchy in the Arena might just be the greatest angle/brawl AEW has ever done. It felt like a hot 1986 JCP angle. It literally might just be the greatest 15 minutes of television AEW has ever produced. That was incredible to watch I got goosebumps (yeah yeah, call me a mark).

Given Punk's disdain for Chikara in general and that gimmick in particular, that's a surefire way to send him over the edge again

MJF is fighting with randos on Twitter. As someone who has drunkposted here aon a couple of occasions, someone take this man's phone away. Why would you publicly admit that an event you headlined didn't draw well? (and it's not even true, Revolution did quite well, just not as well as the shows when AEW was really hot).

Call me a delusional mark, but this episode really felt like the beginning of AEW regaining momentum and becoming hot again. Jungle Boy and Sammy Guevara still should NOT be in the main event of DoN though, and the promos only reinforced that. It should be MJF v. Darby in a singles match.

Disagree about Starks not having the "top-guy look". Also, and this will probably become more useful to him as his career progresses, Darby is a very underrated mat worker. He was a quite good amateur wrestler at high school level (much like Cody), so that helps him with his matwork.
