A lot of drama there, a lot of it corny and not good, but Jungle Boy reacting to hitting that conchairto like he is Michael Corleone committing his first murder for the mob was hilarious

So, we have discussed this before, but what do we think: can the Hangman coronation be delayed longer? I think, after the kind of promos he has cut, and the video packages made, they can't afford to not pull the trigger now. He has a very loyal fanbase, but even they might not be able to take another heartbreaking loss. I think he has to win now.

That is true. However, trying to sell people to watch a wrestling show at 10 PM on a Friday night with the lure of Orange Cassidy vs. Matt Hardy should be considered an imprisonable offence.

The standard for wrestling promoters and bookers answering questions is so damn low, Khan appears good usually just by comparison. I don't know how he behaves in NFL press conferences though. But I mean our standard-bearer for decades was this person, so our standards are low:

That was a very defensive, arrogant answer by Khan. The reporter later clarified that she was just going to ask if AEW has plans for an all-women's PPV. Interrupting a woman asking question about women's wrestling and not letting her finish by talking about how he feels he doesn't get enough credit for building the women's division - because he paid for his wrestlers doing the NWA show - is a bad look. Like okay? So you paid them, do you want a medal for not being as actively awful as WWE? Thankfully he himself realized he didn't come across good and apologized. I am guessing how defensive and reactionary he can be in interviews versus how nice and professional he usually is, is a function of how much coke he has snorted that day.

I don't disagree, but here Omega was being a dick, and therefore it was easy for Page to play off him. Page is earnest and sincere, basically the opposite of the rest of the Elite, and he needed to be the one to really deliver well for the segment to work, and I thought he did a fabulous job.

And to be fair, while Savage shouldn't have got paranoid like that, that fucker Hogan absolutely did have lust in his eyes!

First of all I rant and moan every week about one thing at least on Dynamite, I take offence to the suggestion that I am a v positive person without having a shred of being a miserable bastard. I had for instance specifically said that while I loved the Hangman spot in the Halloween match, I didn't like the match itself. Second, Hangman isn't Eddie Kingston. He used to do that shit a year back, when he didn't feel confident in himself and had insecurity - incidentally, exactly where Eddie is right now. He has outgrown it, it is character evolution that is crucial to his story. It's the same reason he talked about being brave enough to take time off to be a dad in the middle of the hottest run of his career. It's this calmness that has given him the confidence he didn't have before, something Eddie still lacks. There will come a time when he will snap at someone else, but that's not the correct story here. For what it's worth, Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley showed pretty much the same amount of melodrama in their feud last year, because the melodrama fit their story too.
