Listen this is not a joke, Sting and Darby have a low-key case for tag team of the year. This match was shockingly good, best match of the night so far, and this is far from their only great match this year

I think my issue with Punk-Moriarty also was a lot of really obviously cooperative technical exchanges and back-and-forth, something Moriarty has a tendency of doing quite a bit. It is something that hopefully gets polished as he gets more reps.

Punk wasn't great but the story of the feud is such that this plays into that. I am guessing we have Punk v. Wardlow and Punk v. Spears soon before Punk gets his hands on MJF.

I agree it's big news, but we have literally zero details other than talent having been asked to not talk to him about business. Meltzer has flat out refused to talk about it, saying it's not his place to talk about it. So anything we discuss would be pure speculation with really no way of knowing how accurate our speculation is.

Not very surprising. There will be people who will complain, but she did receive a push last year, and imo she didn't get over. I know she is having some illness issues, but it isn't as if her in-ring work was improving. Plus, it's a bit difficult for her to call herself Big Swole when Jade Cargill is RIGHT THERE.

So with Rhodes to the Top getting renewed due to decent demo numbers, despite terrible overall viewership numbers, do you think this finally shuts up all the fed fans who are convinced that key demos are a Meltzer invention to make AEW look good? Or are they too far gone by this point to see reason?

Big E didn't even get a lot of offence. He had a great comeback stretch right towards the end, which co-incidentally was the only time the crowd was alive during the match. Otherwise, Roman ate him alive during the match. Cesaro got more offence against Roman than Big E did, kicking out of the spear aside. To say nothing of the challengers against whom Roman needed outside help. This for the WWE champion, who needed to look as strong as possible so he could carry the Raw brand. I think that is one reason why WWE should have more squashes. It's cuz the booking is such that pretty much no one looks good and like a badass star, especially top babyfaces. Literally the only way WWE will book you strongly is if you are a top heel in charge of a stable. It's like it's the only trope they remember. There is such a complete dearth of cool faces, it's mind-boggling.

Coach Tony K clearly loved how well the Thanksgiving eve episode did in the ratings, cuz after a few quiet weeks, he is having one of those days where he is posting triumphant tweets as well as replying to fans without getting tagged. This Adam Cole debate happens every third day on Twitter. Twitter is good for the luls and for following vintage wrestling accounts, but it is hell for any kind of logical discussion.

Japan has shut down international travel again, so it will be interesting to see how long this lasts and how it affects the three-day WK, even with one day being the NJPW-NOAH day.

Britt v. Riho might have been Britt's best match of her entire title run. It's between this and the Statlander match. King v. Garcia was great too. Rampage can't help but feel like a B-show due to the timing, the fact that it's often taped, etc, but if, like me, you watch it on a Saturday morning, it flows by so quickly and is such an effortless watch.
