First gained knowledge of Paul was during his WCW run with the Pretty Wonderful tag team. That theme was so cheesy but entertaining at the same time. Sad he's passed on but the silver lining is there's no more pain for him to endure, R.I.P.

It doesn't help JR's case when touts poetically about how great some current WWE performers are like he did for Orton earlier this year and in the same breath criticizes those on the AEW roster, I know it's silly but perception is everything. He's so unenthused about the product and it shows in his work, time for TK to let him go or give him a backstage role. This was a good edition of Dynamite compared to the ones that aired on Saturdays with a banger of a main event. This was MJF's second-best showing in the ring since his match with Jungle Boy at Double or Nothing last year. When they pull the trigger Sammy Guevara is going to be a damn good top babyface.

We got Masato Tanaka and CIMA for the ZERO1 world championship. Two pros that can still go and get the job done even at this advanced tenure in their careers. You know what you're getting with these men in sound grappling, Meteoras, Sliding Ds, splashing through tables, and great sequences with false finishes that lead to a hot finish. Do yourselves a favor and watch this.

Oh yeah, one has major superstar upside and the other is mid-carder.

Daunte Martin is one of those guys that would be great spending some time in Impact.

They really should've shown hype packages for Omega/Jungle Boy nonstop and it should've been Jungle Boy instead of Andrade in the interview segment with JR.

The beginning of things started at a gradual pace until Deeb flipped the switch and went full-blown heel. Serena was in full command of working aggressively over Riho's leg and riling up the crowd, she was channeling Bryan Danielson circa 2006 and it was a blast to watch. Riho sold the limb attack well, got some good highspots in, and did a great in her hope spots being the best babyface that she can be. The leg work played heavily to the finish in a banger of a match.

After all the hell she went through with him it pours out of her how she still loves him, really perplexing.

Putting the title on Shingo has me excited on where New Japan goes from here creatively. His 2021 is on pace to rival the great run he had in 2015.

This was structured in the vein of a G1 allowing both men to excel at their strengths in a concise period. Cobb looked like a beast showing his power and launching Ibushi around like a ragdoll. Kota was amazing with his strikes, displaying his freaky power, and selling especially on the big tease of Cobb hitting the kamigoye for the win, great stuff.

I haven't been interested in anything related to Piper Niven since she left Stardom. If true with the news I'm not hopeful of her being Eva Marie's muscle. -
Solid work from the two that built on working over each other left leg.

[2021-05-30-AEW-Double Or Nothing] Adam Page vs Brian Cage
Tenese Sarwieh posted a topic in May 2021
A great back and forth opener between two contenders for the AEW title. Both men meshed well, having Cage toning down his usual style and focusing more on being the powerhouse brute with Page working off of that with good babyface offense. I appreciate the fact that the only attempt of a high spot from Cage was a failed buckshot lariat. Furthering story was built of Cage dissenting from Taz wanting to win all on his own, leading to Page getting the victory. Also shoutout to the hot crowd that made everything these two did matter.
