  1. I'm surprised no one has mentioned Apollo Crews yet. Jushin Liger in his prime surely qualifies too.
  2. I imagine he'll still get in eventually, but probably only as "Edge and Christian." Billy Gunn got in with DX while working for AEW, so I can see WWE trying to pull that card for 2022. Whether Khan would still allow it at that point is another story. Right now, he seems very open to things like that. Another years of BS from WWE might harden him more.
  3. What?! Molly should have been in years ago, way before Barbie Doll models like Torrie WIlson, who was the least over character of the three in the Torrie-Al Wilson-Dawn Marie soap opera. If we're talking about top five Attitude Era stars who aren't in yet, that conversation begins and ends with Christian.
  4. Where is this stuff about Wuertz being a pillhead coming from? The other stuff - being a Q-Tip and orange embarrassment - are self-explanatory.
  5. Not that I'm advocating violence, but I kinda wish he would. Is the Penelope Ford character even presented as a slut in any way? Not that I've seen. It's just more misogynistic crap from a career coward who knows no one will actually drill him in the mouth for anything he says.
  6. All of that is certainly true, but I'd still take Dusty at his worst with his most excessive bad habits over Nash at his very best (which was still dire). This paints a more complete picture. Can't really fault Nash for that. Is this what led to Dusty's departure from WCW and unlikely late-career ECW stint feuding with Steve Corino? Corino is someone who never become the star post-ECW that I thought he would.
  7. Imagine someone as creatively boring as Nash being so arrogant that he wouldn't want the help of one of the greatest bookers of all time (Dusty wasn't without his issues - Dusty Finishes, focusing on himself, etc. - but he was galaxies ahead of Nash.)
  8. I'm not a fan of Fox News at all, but not everyone there is terrible. Most of the night hosts are completely awful (Tucker Carlson, etc.), but Chris Wallace during the day is okay. Irritates the shit out of me with his smug little look, but he's a far cry from the Carlsons of the world. Either way, this is a very bad take. No one deserves to be sexually harassed.
  9. This tweet is so downright disingenuous, so obviously profit-motivated, that it may as well say ""philanthropy is the future of marketing, it's the way brands r going 2 win"

LOL. But, damn, things haven't really gotten that bad around here, have they?
  11. Jim Cornette isn't even bothering to hide or "code" his blatant homophobic comments against Kenny Omega anymore. https://itrwrestling.com/news/jim-cornette-on-aew-revolution-explosion-yall-should-be-ashamed-of-yourself/ Kind of ironic coming from a guy whose character was a walking 1980s gay stereotype himself.
  12. Why does Malia hate Molly? I always liked Malia, but yeah, she comes across as super-bitter.
  13. That damned fool doesn't recognize Top 5 when he sees it, probably because he hasn't had a Top 5 hit himself since the Attitude Era.

As useless as Lagana was, firing him for being a sex pest, only to turn around and hire the even more useless sex pest Brodus Clay is a real head-scratcher to me. They actually expect people to pay money for this shit?!?! Yeah, no, not happening!

That someone was me, and you've mentioned it ad nauseum in multiple threads already. It's almost as if you're following me from thread to thread and gleefully repeating what I said like a crazed stalker with a walkie talkie or ham radio who has to broadcast "the signal" to anyone and everyone. You're usually one of the best posters here, but you seem to be in quite the weird mood these days. Everything okay with you, man? How did he do with matches like Pillman vs. Liger? Or was he already gone by then? I don't think so, but I can't remember for sure.
  16. I've never heard such a bizarre rationale in my life. So, Bret Hart and Ric Flair weren't good wrestlers? etc. etc. etc.
  17. To be fair to Wyatt (who I find to be absolutely terrible inside the ring too), wasn't he injured going into that match?
  18. Keep mentioning this in every thread and I might just join the GWE and start a tweet campaign to get Christian voted #1. I just gave you a follow. Similar name on Letterboxd so look for that. I love "Crazy, Stupid, Love." but you're right that the babysitter subplot is absolutely bonkers, haha. That would never make into in a movie today, so it's crazy to think this was released only ten years ago. All good points, but the way people talk about the last one, you'd think they were exhausted war veterans who just emerged from the battlefield after barely surviving the conflict that tipped the scales of all they fought for.
  19. If you don't mind, link me to your Letterboxd. If you'd rather not do it in public, feel free to PM me. I am an avid moviegoer and Letterboxd user myself. As for the GWE, I didn't join in 2016 and probably won't in 2026 because it seems like way too much of a time commitment to be fun to me. I admire everyone else's dedication though. Just don't let it suck the enjoyment out of wrestling for you (which seemed to be the case for a few folks).
  20. No one was a bigger star than Christian... NO ONE! But yeah, she should've been the first women from her era inducted, not years later behind Torrie Wilson, etc.

People considered Edge handsome and "dreamy" back then. I guess I can see it. At the very least, if a wrestling fan said that, it's more credible than saying it about someone like Ricky Morton.

C'mon, guys, Christian was easily a bigger star than both Dudleys and Matt Hardy during that time. Don't confuse the Bubba/Bully Ray you like now (though I can't imagine why) with the stuttering redneck buffoon he was in his early ECW and early WWE days.
  23. NBC will soon find out just how uneducated and embarrassing the majority of rasslin' fans are. Never, ever underestimate the stupidity of the average rasslin' fan. (Don't let the PWO bubble fool you into thinking the majority of fans are thoughtful and literate.) There's a reason rasslin' hasn't historically attracted good sponsors. In boom periods, you'll get more educated consumers, but we're definitely not in a boom period right now. Just the opposite, no matter what WWE's bottom line many indicate. Don't even get me started on Paramount+. Coming 2 America, a Paramount property, was released the same week Paramount+ launched...on Amazon Prime Streaming. The movie is hot dogshit, but it would've been an undeniable draw for the new service regardless. The Harry/Meghan interview, which aired on CBS, is nowhere to be found on Paramount+ now. (Reminder: Paramount+ used to be CBS All-Access. You were able to watch the interview live on P+, but it's not available there on-demand. Now you have to access a separate CBS app with commercials just to see it.)

You missed me calling Christian Cage one of the top five wrestlers in the Attitude Era, everyone else on PWO unanimously agreeing with me, all of us eventually coming to the consensus that he was actually #1 in the Attitude Era, followed by plans for a daily tweet campaign to get Christian into the WON HOF, and a PWO community-wide pact to rank Christian in the top spot of the 2026 GWE. It was an amazing thread. Sorry you couldn't be there with us.
  25. I can't believe this isn't happening. It's a mind-boggling detail to overlook, and it will definitely cost them subscribers. Yet another clue that this was a super-rushed last-minute deal. Vince really is the ultimate con man charlatan. NBC got snowed big time here. Not sure NBC knows what they're getting into with the rasslin' audience either. Half of them will be whiny Jed Clampett malcontents and the other half won't bother to sign up at all because it's "too confusing" and WWE/NBC didn't hold their hand through the process.
