I expected a Bret/Owen SummerSlam '94 cage match tribute because of the heart on Punk's tights. Great match. Nia vs Bayley was heatless. Bayley hasn't been over at all since her face turn. I commented to my friend that I wish Triple H could trade Bayley to AEW for Serena Deeb. Priest vs. Balor isn't as intense as I expected. Balor's hairstyle is a crime against humanity, and WTF was that sex shop shit Balor had over his face for the entrance?!

No one at PWO, or lifelong wrestling fans in general, are going to learn anything new from this documentary. It has the same talking heads saying pretty much the same things they always do. Great footage though, and Tony Atlas has zero filter. Bruce Prichard's dentist has to wear a gas mask because Bruce's teeth and gums smell like Vince's asshole. With that said, I'll give Bruce the smallest bit of leeway here. His wife had a cancer diagnosis with a prognosis of four years. Because of Vince getting her the best medical care, she's still alive 20-something years later. So, for that reason, I can see why Bruce is blindly loyal. Granted, you can argue that it Vince did it for cynical business reasons to keep one of his valued lieutenants worry-free and working, and while there might be something to that, a woman's life was still saved in the process.

Surprised they didn't go the WB Discovery-David Zaslav route and shitcan this as a tax write-off.

I don't care about this match at all. Foregone conclusion. Methodical style, which is great against other opponents but not necessarily each other. TBH, though, I blanked out and barely watched it. Glad it's over and they can both move on to more exciting programs.

This feels like a feud-ender. I don't know how they get to Hell in a Cell at Bad Blood from here, but I'm sure they'll find a way.

It seems like everyone - including me - is fondly remembering this as his career highlight, because it probably was. Great match, awesome atmosphere - and it wasn't all Shawn Michaels.
