Should I be scared about you memorizing my posting history to such a degree that you were able to dig up something I wrote several months ago? Anyway, not at all surprising with this being a gun case in Florida. Be happy you live in Toronto and can go to a 7-Eleven at 3 a.m. without worrying that any nut with a firearm will show up with a wild hair up his ass - like Cash Wheeler. FTR is probably the best tag team in America, if not the world, but this is yet another reminder that even our favorite wrestlers or the ones with "good" reputations are largely problematic creeps. Also a good reminder that wrestling fans are largely among the most simpleminded and sycophantic, to the point that the majority of them would bend themselves into pretzels to excuse Bryan Danielson and Will Ospreay if they murdered children in the middle of the street, all while foaming at the mouth and wishing the death penalty on Ryback and Brian Cage for jaywalking charges.

It's all presentation. If someone cast David Benoit as a boy wizard, everyone would think he looks like Harry Potter. (Not that I'm suggesting that would be a good gimmick, mind you - I'm just saying.) Same reason everything thinks Trevor Murdoch looks like Dick when, well, he really doesn't. But now I want a Chris Benoit biopic starring Daniel Radcliffe, damn it.

Jumpin' Jeff Farmer 2.0 Holy shit, this was BAD.
-
The Drizzling Shits Tanga Loa got a slight name change to Tonga Loa - because of Tama Tonga, I guess.

I remember this worthless stiff being a PWO favorite, and I never understood why. Being a "good worker" in a vacuum means absolutely nothing when you don't bring anything else to the table, never have, and never will Fuck him. Sex pest. Bully. Vanilla midget. Never drew a dime anywhere or generated interest with any fan. We should all be so lucky to have a job for 8 years after being so completely fucking useless.

Camacho SUCKS.

Not after having the worst match on both nights of WrestleMania. Overrated as a tag team, overwhelmed as a single. "Midcard" Jey Uso can't reunite with his brother (and presumably Jacob Fatu) soon enough.

The crowd is molten hot, the wrestlers are working hard, but...I just don't care. These are all b-show matches with foregone conclusions. I could see them throwing one curveball by having Asuka and Kairi retain via DQ chicanery, but that would be a mistake IMO. If you're gonna go with Jade, do it immediately and go all-in (no pun intended). A b-show with a b-team version of The Bloodline seems appropriate. Who the fuck is Tanga Loa, and why should I give a shit? I don't care about Tama Tonga either.

Has there ever been a worse stable? Even the most dire Mr. Fuji clients meant more.

I guess no one watched Smackdown. Roman withdrew himself from Draft eligibility. Bianca (SD) and Jey (Raw) were the #1 draft picks. That's certainly a choice. Melo (NXT to SD) got drafted in the first round and challenged Cody. The Bloodline (Solo, Tama Tonga, and Paul Heyman) were picked in the third round. Kiana James (to Raw) was the only other NXT draft pick on Night 1. Cody vs. Melo was the main event. Cody was really favoring his shoulder at the end. I hope he's just a better seller than I remember. Another injury would be disastrous.

"That Indian Guy" being released sucks, especially after he held his own (and IMO surpassed) The Rock a few months ago on the mic. Hopefully there are no other releases besides those three.

Sad news, especially when it's someone so young. I saw him wrestle several times in APW, and of course he was in Barry Blaustein's "Beyond the Mat" documentary. https://slamwrestling.net/index.php/2024/04/14/shooter-tony-jones-dead-at-53/

She was incredible, Bubba. Best ring announcer since Howard Finkel and Gary Cappetta. It's typical of the majority of PWO to forget that what they're watching is professional rasslin', which is meant to be over-the-top and absurd.

The Final Boss happened!

Due to circumstances, I couldn't see either night of WrestleMania live. I ended up binging the whole thing. Despite that taking a considerable amount of time, I didn't feel the length at all. Every match was good, and the entire show was well-paced, which is something you haven't been able to say about WWE in decades. Absolutely fantastic Mania with a photo finish, so to speak. I don't know where this ranks among the all-time great WMs - I'm hesitant to put it at the very top without some time and distance to reflect on the show - but it was a good one.

Years of therapy.

I'm a bit concerned you know where either of them live.
-
Just odd. Even if they're "split up" for now, why risk alienating Dalton Castle - and possibly Johnny Honor Club - by releasing a major component of Dalton's act for no reason? Unless Castle is pivoting away from his current persona?
-
So much for AEW not releasing wrestlers... While I won't pretend any of those are essential names who have been used recently or well at all, I feel for Stu Grayson, and I'm mildly surprised about The Boys because of their link to Dalton Castle (even though I think there was a split recently?).
-
Especially when Rock is legitimately the High Chief now. I always expected the feud to be marketed as Tribal Chief vs. High Chief, with Rock saying something like, "You may be the Tribal Chief, but I'm the High Chief, bitch!"

Worst week in AEW history with GOATS Eddie Kingston and Christian both dropping their titles.

Is junior high school something different in Japan? In America, that's generally ages 11-14 (sometimes 15, depending on the school). Did Mach Fumiake really start wrestling that young?
-
I get where you're coming from, but if Bayley and Io are given enough time to have a banger of a match with enough outside drama from the rest of Damage Ctrl, they can come out of WrestleMania and have everyone talking about them - just like Christian did when he carried Edge, The Hardys, and The Dudleys in a TLC match.
