  1. I'm with JvK wholeheartedly on this one.
  2. That transcends ratings and analysis. Enjoy it for the spectacle, people.
  3. This is a ***** match on the unintentional comedy scale.
  4. This may become a best case scenario where we get the worst case scenario brought up for this match.
  5. Even if this match is a giant turd, I'll always love it for what HHH did for us coming to the ring.
  6. That HHH entrance was beyond words. I'm laughing like an idiot at how spectacular it was, yet so, so ridiculous/
  7. Bad ass entrance for Sting, now for Hunter to make sure he tops it
  8. Most of the match did nothing for me, but the finish got hot and pulled me in. Another neat RKO spot.
  9. Fun match, good for Bryan getting his IC title win and a nice moment again this year. Yeah, he should be higher, but this is at least something.
  10. Barrett looked huge before his injury, came back noticeably leaner, now looks like he's filled back out
  11. I'm with Parv on this. I am sick of Big Show, like everyone else, but that match revolved around getting over the idea of the Big Show as a giant who should be winning a battle royal, like Andre.
  12. More eyes would be on them if this was the main card, sure, but the way this is shown on the Network, it's a pretty illusory line between pre-show and main show. The two caveats I put there are this: I don't know if it effects paydays and I don't know how much high network viewership will go up at the start of the show, though I'm sure it will. On the flip side, if they made this a main show match, they'd probably get even less time.
  13. A bit, yes, but being on the pre-show in the Network era isn't the same as it was even two years ago.
  14. Just going off how it looks on screen, it's a stadium (duh), but it's pretty vertical and probably traps sound well, now a big bowl that lets everything escape like some of the Mania hosts.
  15. Yeah it does, though I was always a fan of Cena's throwback jerseys, so this stuff works for me
  16. Drove through Chicago traffic and the farmland of Illinois to get back home to my place. Thank you, Will, for giving me so much podcast fodder to chew on this week in my drive time. Not making any special food since I already gorged on deep dish yesterday, today's just a ton of shredded chicken. Maybe I'll make nachos out of it. I got a little bit more excited every day this week about Mania, to the point that now I'm actually really looking forward to it tonight, up from "eh I guess I'll watch it" the past few weeks.
  17. It's not suspicious or unreasonable to file a case under seal. If the WWE thinks someone is going to be infringing on their IP and they name the party in the case preemptively, well that person isn't going to show up to Wrestlecon or wherever and sell knock off goods, are they? How long they stay under seal and/or go without a named defendant will depend on whether they actually go forward with the claim and on local rules.

    Current WWE

For all the shit we give WWE about their stop-start pushes, I'm definitely ready for them to give up on Bray Wyatt and toss him in the Adam Rose/Fandango trash heap. He's too good of a worker for them to just drown in the river. He needs character motivation, something that they've ALWAYS failed to really give him. He's not that good of a worker that they need to keep him around. He's had some very good matches, but when those matches were with Daniel Bryan, the Shield, and while with Harper and Rowan, I don't think that's much of an accomplishment.
  19. I don't see the crowd getting behind Breeze or anyone lower than him in the Battle Royal if they win the tourney. Zayn, sure. Owens or Balor, sure. Itami or Neville, probably. Basically, the guys who are over with the NXT crowd and have the 'smart fan' cred. Maybe it's a loaded pick to choose him, but I don't see people rallying behind Baron Corbin if he wins.
  20. I'm way behind on ROH and have only really kept tabs of late, is that a heels vs. face match up, a blend of them, or one where face/heel doesn't really matter. I know Strong is out of Decade (right?) and now a face, and the Briscoes are face, but I figured the other three could or would be faces.
  21. How badly was the Rock hurt after his second Cena match? He's either going to shatter against Brock or have a dull display where he barely bumps or takes the offense the way say Cena and Rollins and Mark Henry and Big Show and CM Punk and everyone else has. Or both.
  22. I'd go out of my way to see that King of the Indies tournament if we get that Cobb/Thatcher rematch. The first one isn't one of my favorite indy matches but it was still great and really stands out compared to most of what I see.
  23. I don't think that's because of Brock as absentee champion at all. That's the WWE's god awful booking, stop and start pushes, and rehashing old timers. At most, I'd put Brock at #4 then of why everyone in the company seems like a joke.
  24. I get and sorta agree with the complaints about Brock not being around enough while he's the champ (I think the WWE shoots themselves in the foot by only having one belt of value in this instance), but damn it if I'm not ecstatic to know I'm getting more Brock. He's been awesome in this run, just about my favorite guy to see in the ring and in his taped promos.
