  1. AHH IT HAS FINALLY OFFICIALLY HAPPENED! How will the WWF run a joint show with an NWA show in Canada of all places... pure insanity.
  2. Hey guys, just wanted to make one more call out to everyone if you are interested in coming over to the 1983 project (currently about to end 1984 and move to 1985), you can take over the Memphis or Southeastern rosters... we are going to have our fresh face draft in 2 weeks so if you're interested, let me know. If you can keep this game going that is going to be fantastic, just wanted to offer it up if you're interested.
  3. 12/1 Oakland, CA – Coliseum TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS The Russians © defeated The Killer Bees Tony Atlas & The Briscoe Brothers defeated John Studd, King Kong Bundy, & Hercules w/ Bobby Heenan Sgt. Slaughter defeated The Masked Superstar CAGE MATCH Randy Savage & Tito Santana defeated Roddy Piper & Gino Hernandez -Santana subbed for Snuka who was injured the night before.
  4. WWF Wrestling Challenge Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby The Brain Heenan in studio Matches from Hamburg, PA – The Fieldhouse The Briscoe Brothers defeated Johnny Rodz & Omar Atlas -Jack and Jerry really look good this week. Heenan and Monsoon put them over as a team and talk about the big showdown with the Funks in Madison Square Garden. We see Jack and Jerry lock in a pair of figure four leg locks for the submissions. *COMMERCIAL* -Mean Gene putting over the big announcement of Hogan vs Bock and if Hogan will sign the contract for Loser Leaves for One Year! Gene also puts over the big tag team Texas Tornado tag match with the Briscoes and the Funks. Mean Gene also puts over the official signing of another title match as we will see a one on one contest between Randy Savage and Gino Hernandez for the Intercontinental Championship! Gino Hernandez: Randy Savage… for too long have you had jealous eyes… not only for my title but my Woman. You walk around with that shy little Elizabeth when you would love to be arm in arm with a vivacious Woman and not to mention have some gold around your waist. Well Savage… I guess you begged and pleaded just enough… you got your shot in the bright lights of Madison Square Garden. The Brawl to End it All is what they are calling it. The biggest night in the history of wrestling and to cap it all off it is going to set the course for 1985 and brother… 1985 is going to be the year of Gino Hernandez. I have held this title for most of 1984 and I am going to continue to reign as champion into 1985, 1986 and beyond! You may have the name Savage… but I am going to show you what it takes to be a Savage champion! Randy Savage: Ohhh Jealous Eyes is what they call it huh… Jealous eyes…. Gino Hernandez look at my eyes right now and tell me if there is any jealousy in there… these are eyes of a man who is possessed… possessed with ANGER and HOSTILITY! I will give you your due Gino… you have held that title for quite some time but now is my time… OHH YEAAAHHH Now is the time for Randy Savage to ascend to the top of the WWF and I am going to do that by driving my elbow right through your black heart! I am going to hoist that title up in one arm and Miss Elizabeth up in the other and OHHHH YEEEEAAAHHHHH! *COMMERCIAL* Randy Savage w/ Woman defeated Johnny Rivera -We get to see more of the ANGER that Randy Savage puts forth here tonight when he beats the hell out of Rivera. Gorilla and Heenan wonder if Savage will be able to contain himself within the rules of the match to win the title. Heenan puts over how Gino is one of the best in the world and will put Savage down a peg or two where he belongs. Tonight though… Savage hits that flying elbow drop better than anyone and just destroys Rivera for the 1….2…3!! *COMMERCIAL* The Masked Superstar defeated Barry Horowitz -Simple showcase for Masked Superstar who comes out looking good tonight. He hands Horowitz and finishes him with a cobra clutch slam for the 1…..2…..3! *COMMERCIAL* MAIN EVENT The Killer Bees vs The Russians -A fun 12-minute contest with the Bees doing some fun work with Ivan but they can’t touch Nikita. Nikita strength is just debilitating against the Bees who are just outmatched but they find a way to use their quicks to keep things in their favor for the time being. The big moment comes when Krusher Kruschev comes out and tries to interfere but here comes Sgt. Slaughter! Slaughter comes out and nails Krushev. We see Nikita come down and we’ve got a brawl in the aisle! Inside the ring we see the Bees get together and Ivan Koloff turns around to get a DOUBLE DROPKICK TO THE MUSH for the 1…2….3! THE KILLER BEES HAVE WON IT! Slaughter comes in the ring and celebrates with them as the crowd is going bonkers! Monsoon says history has been made and Heenan says this is a miscarriage of justice! Pure chaos as we finish off the program.
  5. I think the best route is to have them in the draft... If an individual woman gets drafted then she is on said roster. The women who do not get drafted will then be put into the freelancers as a group like they have been, minus any individuals who were drafted.
  6. Moolah would be my WWF women's champion... thus never losing unless I were to pick up a different woman.
  7. Like I am thinking of drafting Moolah as the champ and then she would defend the title in and out with freelancers coming in.
  8. Or better yet... the women are available in the draft and if you want to lock one down you can... then the rest are freelancers. Just in case someone wants Missy Hyatt as a manager or something.
  9. I have no problems with the women staying as freelancers... I think it works best for them in the long run if no one promotion is looking to expand to them right off the bat.
  10. Not sure on the women... if someone wants to corner the market, now is the time... if not they could still freelance
  11. WWF just got a memo from Bruno... they will be bringing in David Sammartino... woof.
  12. Dominic DeNucci and Quick Draw Rick McGraw were released from the enhancement duties for the WWF after this week's tapings. Mark and Jay Youngblood have moved into those enhancement positions freeing up 2 roster spots for the WWF. One of those spots will be picked up on December 1st by a big signing.
  13. The fresh face draft will start on December the 13th. The fresh face is not a snake draft.

  16. WWF Superstars Vince McMahon & Jesse the Body Ventura Matches from Hershey, PA – Hershypark Arena Krusher Kruschev defeated Mark Youngblood Krusher: I guess that good for nothing turncoat Sgt. Slaughter wanted to come out here and try and stir something up. Well Slaughter, your words don’t scare me buddy… I am more than willing to love it or leave it. But seeings as how I have got the two most dangerous men in wrestling by my side, I don’t plan on going anywhere and just to add some extra pleasure to the match… I am going to raise the Russian Flag when I beat you! *COMMERCIAL* -Mean Gene is shown in the event center putting over the happening from last week in which we saw Bruno Sammartino named WWF Commissioner and then the subsequent attack on Hulk Hogan by the One Man Gang & Nick Bockwinkel. Okerlund says that his sources have told him that it was a joint plan and that Bockwinkel paid for the One Man Gang to come to the WWF and subsequently hurt Hogan. Sources have also said that Hulk Hogan signed the contract for a one on one match with Nick Bockwinkel on December the 30th in Madison Square Garden for the Title for Title match officially recognizing Nick Bockwinkel’s championship… however Bockwinkel has yet to sign… we have words from all the parties involved… Bruno: I told everyone that I would be a law and order type commissioner and I am going to do that. Nick Bockwinkel wanted the match with Hulk Hogan and I got it signed but now Bockwinkel hasn’t signed… he and that weasel Heenan are trying to pull something… well let me tell you right now… I have got the people in place… this match is going to happen and there will be one true world champion! Hulk Hogan: Well lemme tell ya something brother… last week I felt that massive 747 splash come right down on my ribs and I could feel them crushing and breaking inside my body dude. The One Man Gang has come out and said that he was bought and paid for by Bockwinkel! Well One Man Gang… I want you to know that our business is nowhere near done… I am planning on taking you out you big ugly giant and then… haha… Nick Bockwinkel… it is going to be a title for title match of the century brother. You asked me to acknowledge that piece of gold you’ve got as a title and I am doing it… but it comes down to who walks out with the belt and heads into 1985 as the one true world champion brother. All that is left for you to sign and WHATCHA GONNA DO WHEN HULKAMANIA RUNS WILD ON YOU!! Nick Bockwinkel: Well Hulk Hogan… you have signed on the dotted line but we live in a different world than when it was signed. Due to the suspension from Bruno Sammartino… I have lost some of my investment in the One Man Gang and with the real world’s championship… so Hulk Hogan the match has changed. I no longer just want the title and the money… I want more… I want your career! Before you showed up in the WWF, I was the one true world champion and you have challenged me and tried to take away from my greatness and I am just sick and tired of it. Hogan, I have said since day one that you are a coward… well I am going to put it on the line right now… this is a new contract written by my most prestigious lawyers. This is a contract to face you Hulk Hogan on December the 30th from Madison Square Garden. This is a contract for a One True World Championship Contest. This is a contract for you to put your title and your CAREER on the line! For one year… for all of 1985… you will be unable to wrestle in the WWF! You want to raise the stakes… well Hogan they are as high as they can go… there will only be Nick Bockwinkel or there will only be Hulk Hogan in the WWF in 1985… and I don’t plan on going anywhere! *COMMERCIAL* Tony Atlas defeated Johnny Rivera Tony Atlas: A lot of people out there talking about who the strongest man in the WWF is… and I am going to give Hercules his credit… he is a big boy and he is a strong man… but you can’t touch this baby. I have got muscles for days and when you feel me wrap you up in that bearhug… brother it is going to be all over but the crying! *COMMERCIAL* The Hart Foundation defeated SD Jones & Rick McGraw Jimmy Hart: I think everyone saw the shicanery last month when my Hart Foundation didn’t get the number one contender shot against the Russians. Now I have spoken to Ivan Koloff and he has assured me that the Hart Foundation have a match… but first we need to get rid of those flea bitten British Bulldogs. Those two guys are going to be given the Hart Attack of a lifetime baby courtesy of the Hitman and the Anvil! *COMMERCIAL* Big Fred Ottman vs The Barbarian w/ Kevin Sullivan -The saga of Big Fred continues this week as we see him in action against the Barbarian who is double tough. These two know one another well enough and the match is a fun bruiser style. Sullivan is doing his best to get involved and ends up grabbing Ottman’s foot which leads to the Barbarian hitting a high knee to the back and Ottman nailing the turnbuckle! The Barbarian then shows some big time strength with a back suplex putting Big Fred right on his head for the 1….2…3!!Barb and Sullivan celebrate, as big Fred doesn’t look too happy with how this turned out…
  17. You know how much I love the NWA. So many primetime matches over the last couple of house shows. With Starrcade on the horizon... I am interested to see who jumps out ahead of the pack and faces Flair. Other than his slight slip up to Steamboat last year, he has been an amazing champion so whomever gets that spot is going to be in a prime position to change the scope of the NWA.
  18. The NWA jump has really proven to be successful on so many fronts. You have got things going in the right direction and Lutte is definitely jumping up its game. I also like to see this relationship with Rick Rude and Sherri Martel as there was some untapped potential in that relationship.
  19. You and I have talked privately about the USWA and its direction and it is really a fun time and interesting to see it play out. I think that you roster has been in such flux with changes over recent months that now that things have calmed down, it gives you the ability to do more.
  20. 11/24 Philadelphia, PA – Philadelphia Spectrum Big Fred Ottman defeated The Barbarian Jake Roberts & Kevin Sullivan defeated Haku & Tonga The Hart Foundation defeated the Killer Bees John Studd, King Kong Bundy, & Hercules defeated Tony Atlas, Sgt. Slaughter, & Brutus Beefcake TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The Briscoe Brothers defeated the Russians © via COUNT OUT CAGE MATCH Randy Savage & Jimmy Snuka defeated Roddy Piper & Gino Hernandez
  21. WWF Wrestling Challenge Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby The Brain Heenan in studio Matches from Hershey, PA – Hershypark Arena Sgt. Slaughter defeated Dominic DeNucci Sgt. Slaughter: I want to take a moment and thank all of our troops all across the world right now defending this great country in this holiday season. I want to let all of them know I am here fighting the battles in the WWF for each and every one of them. I have got a special bone to pick with Krusher Kruschev. This Russian sympathizer has been bad mouthing the good ol USA a little bit too much for me and I think it is time to make a decision… you either love it or leave it! That’s right Kruschev… I am challenging you to a match where the winner has to leave the country! I am willing to put you down for each and every one of our troops and all the free people here in the USA! *COMMERCIAL* Haku & Tonga defeated Omar Atlas & Tony Garea -A nice showcase for Haku and Tonga who are as Raw as they come but still look great in the ring. We see them work well together and the Samoan Drop/Diving headbutt combo is one of the hottest in wrestling right now as it gets them the W here this week. *COMMERCIAL* Jake Roberts defeated Jay Youngblood Jake Roberts: I have been doing a lot of thinking lately… I have been wondering just what is missing in my life. You see I have fame, I have money, and I have mystery… but what I want is something just a little bit more precious. I am going to keep my eyes open and see if it there is something out there to maybe quench my sweet tooth… *COMMERCIAL* -Mean Gene puts over the big issue with the Funks and the Briscoes. Okerlund puts over how there will be an event on December the 30th from Madison Square Garden called the Brawl to End it All! On that card, one of the premiere contests will be a Texas Tornado tag team match with the Briscoe Brothers taking on the Funk Brothers. Bruno Sammartino has said that the Funks will serve the suspension and then return in the middle of December and be on the card. Also on that card we will see a one on one match with Jimmy Snuka taking on Rowdy Roddy Piper. We have words from both men… Piper: Brawl to end it all huh… putting together every top talent in professional wrestling in one arena on one card and saying that when it is all said and done… everything is finished. Well boys, 1984 was the year that the Piper rose to the top but 1985 is going to be the year of the Rowdy One and I am putting everyone on notice… Snuka… you good for nothing piece of garbage… come the 30th of December there will be no turning back for you brutha and I am going to run you out of the WWF! Snuka: WHOO WHOO WHOO! You want to talk about running me out of the WWF Roddy Piper… brutha… you don’t know what it would take to beat me. I have got the scars of time on my face and there is nothing you can do to stop the Superfly! I am coming from the top of the rafters on December the 30th and I am coming right through your heart! *COMMERCIAL* Killer Bees defeated Johnny Rodz & Barry Horowitz -Blair and Brunzell continue to impress here week-to-week. They get the chance of a lifetime next week against the Russians. A nice double dropkick on Rodz is all it takes tonight! *COMMERCIAL* Jimmy Snuka vs Bob Orton Jr. -A pretty fun main event with Bobby and Vince really hyping the feud with Snuka and Piper. They put over the Brawl to End it All on December the 30th in which Piper and Snuka will do battle for the final time. In the ring tonight, we hear Piper on commentary while Snuka does pretty good work with Orton and ends up getting him reeling. We see Snuka ready to finish and sets up Orton for the Superfly but Piper runs down to the ring… Snuka is looking to jump on Orton but then he looks outside the ring and he LEAPS and jumps on Piper and the crowd goes absolutely INSANE! The referee calls for a DQ as Piper and Snuka are fighting in the aisle-way! This is going to be a crazy end when it happens! Here comes Orton to join in! We will see you tomorrow on Superstars.
  22. Fantastic event, but I have to say one small thing. Going back to the Mid South days, Ted Dibiase has always been just this close to actually going big time over at the Superdome. In fact, it was here a year ago that he lost to the JYD and had to leave the Territory only to come back and avenge the loss again. I guess my point is... this was a chance to really put Dibiase over... like in the biggest way possible and then set up him and Dusty. JYD doesn't need a title and is already going to be major over no matter what... but Dibiase has to get his due at some point and I think you may have missed that opportunity here. Especially with Reed in the match, there could have been a lot of to come out of this and some really great stuff for the future. Now that is just my two cents... in reality... the show is fantastic. Dibiase is still a star and can go on to face Dusty. Reed and JYD can still have a helluva feud and you can even do some tag teams. The Perfect Alliance and Von Erichs still have steam and you have got a star studded roster that still have a lot of weight to pull together some amazing cards. So long story short, my input is focused on one small detail... when in reality there is nothing "wrong" but rather just another way to go with an already solid card.

  24. Yeah he is in Japan for the coming weeks so this was a nice way to set that up with the angle and all that.
  25. Vince McMahon: I would like to take a moment and make a statement on the merger of Lutte International and the National Wrestling Alliance. While the WWF does not currently have association with the NWA, we have worked together in the past and I can see future projects working in both of our favors. I speak on behalf of Commissioner Bruno Sammartino and the WWF Board of Directors when I say that we wish Lutte International the absolute best of luck with their future endeavor with the NWA. As a sign of our gratitude, we will be holding a very special two-day event on December the 8th in Montreal at the Forum and December 9th in Toronto at Maple Leaf Gardens. This event will be a 16-tag team tournament for $50,000! There will be 8 teams from the WWF and 8 teams from Lutte. Also on the card, we will have a special main event of Rick Martel taking on Greg Valentine and then a WWF Heavyweight Championship match with Hulk Hogan taking on Ivan Koloff! Here is the current lineup of first round matches... Roddy Piper & Bob Orton vs The Wild Samoans The Zambuie Express vs Jack & Jerry Briscoe Mad Dog Lefebvre & Richard Charland vs Big John Studd & King Kong Bundy Jimmy Snuka & Andre the Giant vs The Barbarian & Jake Roberts The Rougeaus vs Haku & Tonga Krusher Kruschev & Nikita Koloff vs Hot Stuff Inc (Billy Robinson/Doug Somers) The Midnight Express vs The Hart Foundation The Sheepherders vs The Caribbean Connection Vince McMahon: We would also like to announce that the WWF will be back in Canada on February the 5th for our first television taping from the The Civic Centre in Brantford, Ontario, Canada! We will be touring major cities in southern Canada and northern New York and then running a show on Saturday from Montreal and Sunday from Toronto. Like I have stated before, we wish the best to Lutte International and the NWA and we look to end our relationship on a positive note with his huge joint showing in December.
