The reason that WWF mid 90s work was like 80s AWA, because all the big names from AWA were in WWF.

True. How many free tix did WCW give away for that program?

Does Renegade count? Lol

Where the Big Boys Play #67 - Halloween Havoc 91

The whole idea of "electrocuting" an opponent is one thing, but come on wcw camera producer, why are you filming the damn handle flopping -
Should Vader have won the wwf title? I say yes. He was over and not really being a wwf guy. Shawn was never really over as champ in that time. What do you think?
-
Cena will probably win the title again, if Roman Reigns fails as top babyface, and if office will actuly let reigns become top face. If they do make cena take a step down from the top face.

Put him back in the mask, perhaps?

Here are the matches that were in the OP that I subsequently dropped: Jumbo Tsuruta vs. Jack Brisco (8/28/76) Tatsumi Fujinami vs. Dynamite Kid (2/5/80) Nick Bockwinkel vs. Billy Robinson (12/11/80) Jerry Lawler vs. Terry Funk (3/23/81) Jim Duggan vs. Ted DiBiase (3/22/85) Ricky Steamboat vs. Randy Savage (Wrestlemania III, 3/29/87) Ultimate Warrior vs. Rick Rude (Summerslam, 8/28/89) Sting's Squadron vs. Dangerous Alliance (Wrestlewar, 5/17/92) Ricky Steamboat vs. Rick Rude (Beach Blast, 6/20/92) Bret Hart vs. 123 Kid (Raw, 7/11/94) I also had the following matches in an earlier draft of the list: Bob Backlund vs. Greg Valentine (2/19/79) Devil Masami vs. Chigusa Nagayo (8/22/85) Manami Toyota/Toshiyo Yamada vs. Mayumi Ozaki/Dynamite Kansai (11/26/92) For the most part, these are matches I found myself liking less the more I watched them, which would seem to indicate inappropriateness for a desert island list. Wow, I did not think many remember the bret v kid,in 94, on raw no less. I have recently rewatched ut and this is one hell of a match. Nice choice.

I have to agree with you about slaughter, in the early 80s, he had many great matches. This tag was great. Outside of early nWo, is slaughter the biggest over heel?

Why did wwe do the cable channel in Canada? Are they offering the streaming, also? -
Good Will Wrestling: Fixing the WWE Part Three

I would agree, that the heel turn of Cena, and him becoming in bed with the authority. This is brilliant thinking, unfortunately, wwe will never do it. The wwe will not be willing to take that kind of risk. Wwe is fine with a 3.0 rating on cable, and a 1.5+ rating on cable for smackdown, and it's the semi-over exposure on tv. -
Where the Big Boys Play #65 - Great American Bash 91

In 91, the book made a match to push scott steiner, but he got hurt, with the arm injury. Herd just did not want Flair, and wanted him to go away. Flair would not take a pay cut. So what we are left with is the shit of GAB 91. Who thought PN News should be on a scaffold? -
I am the man of the hour, the man with the power. I am the hit maker, the record breaker. I got the smiling grace and a lovely face. I 'll make your back crack, and your liver quiver. If you do not dig this mess, you are at the wrong address, and Superstar, while all the rest are in the back, laughing and joking, the dream is out front, cooking and smoking!

Race demanded 25000 payment for his appearance, and part of the gate. He was going to go to WWF ma nd take the title.

During the match ross says that the scaffold is plywood, and and hard, with no give, not like in the ring, which is plywood covered with canvas, which we all know makes all the difference. Was the setup for the original skywalkers match not available? Not in mothballs somewhere, or was it being used at a consrtuction site somewhere. Worst scaffold setup.

Herd wated the title on luger for a while. Flair wanted to fo the job for windham, since flair left with the belt, it stands to reason windham gets left holding the bag and wcw gets luger as champ for a year. Wow!

Why did Nick Patrick hold up the "new" title belt for the camera, clearly showing a random title belt with a metal plate, which read WCW World Title. Looked,so cheap and silly. All that because they could not get the real replacement in time.

When do we get Great American Bash '91. I realise that it is full down right rubbish, but let's get on with P.N. News on a scaffold. -

I am sorry. What you make of the OZ character, when you first saw that pile?
