Breaking Ground continues to be good this week. WWE Films will soon be coming out with a buddy cop movie with Lovepreet and Robbie Brookside. For some reason Nhooph always gives me serious real second-hand embarrassment. Next week has Sami Zayn and Scott Hall.

This week he had Vince Russo on to discuss TLC. I'm morbidly curious so I might listen...

It's not so much Owens' weight as it is the incongruity with his gimmick. He's supposed to be a "prize fighter" who's willing to do anything it takes to feed his family. Well, you'd think that one of those things he'd be willing to do is get in shape. In any fighting sport the people in the prize fights don't look like Owens. He also can't grow a good beard; he probably keeps it because it hides the double chin. He has great instincts about so many other things in wrestling. If he worked harder then he could be a top heel, and he would pull in the audience enough to make the eventual face turn a big deal. It doesn't help him much that two of his biggest feuds, the ones with Sami Zayn and Samoa Joe, were cut short due to reasons outside of his control. Maybe it will work out better for him in the end because they can now do the Zayn feud on the main roster.

I haven't listened to the latest episode yet, but I really like where the show has gone. The first few episodes were honestly pretty awkward, but I kept listening and now I'm hooked. I look forward to it every weekend, and I was jonesing for the upload before TLC.

The Will / Johnny Sorrow feud is heating up. He apologized for the vulgar insults on previous shows, but in true heel fashion he offers a more biting critique this time around. What's the blowoff? Will there be a reaction show where Will uses Johnny logic himself and turns face?

Owens lost weight for his NXT debut but has gained a lot of it back since then. His belly jiggles a bit much for the vibe he's going for.

Yeah, the spots seemed irresponsible given the amount of the roster already injured and the proximity to Wrestlemania.

I did not expect that of all people I would see Renee Young and Byron Saxton doing a Rick James bit.

Looks like it... "The Stampede Wrestling episodes that WWE Network added last week have been removed. PWInsider reports that there may be rights issues with the material featuring Bret Hart. WWE owns the Stampede library but Bret has the rights to his matches that were transferred to him personally by his parents before they passed. WWE would technically need to license the footage from Hart to use it." http://wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/2015/1207/604522/wwe-pulls-classic-promotion-due-to-bret-hart-matches/ When did WWE buy the Stampede library? Presumedly it was in 1984 when they bought the promotion. Did his parents really transfer him ownership of his matches before that?

It's unfortunate that Cena's title reign ends with a match that is worse than a lot of the Raw open challenge matches.

Sasha sure takes some scary looking bumps in matches with Bayley.

Asuka is refreshing, even just because she moves around in the ring differently than the WWE-trained women.

Why is an old man doing announce table bumps with the monitors still in the table?

The Code Red looks a lot better against Rollins than Owens.

It seems like basically every major Cena opponent does the sarcastic Five Knuckle Shuffle.

The next time the New Day is in the UK, expect the return of the Attitude Era airhorn.

They still should've booked singles matches to build up the NXT women as good wrestlers. When they get over enough from their work then you could build up the story of one of them beating Nikki, as either a heel or a face.

"The athleticism of Brie" - JBL of all people breaking down the WWE's racial barriers.

Tamina stiffing Brie never gets old.

I love how Byron Saxton's kayfabe outrage at the finish is also a shoot.

This is some Attitude Era shit.

Ambrose actually tried to bounce off the ropes on the outside.
