  1. Not sure if anyone else has commented on the floating graphics they're using while panning over the crowd. Goofy, but I like that they're trying new stuff.
  2. LOL at WWE giving Charlotte Becky's gimmick.
  3. Someone on twitter took video of Enzo getting kicked out. Kinda frightening how quickly information travels.
  4. A couple of good giggles in that Team Raw skit - Braun using Lio as a club to hit Baron and Truth mistakenly giving a pep talk to Raw.
  5. It's very weird - her actual heel turn weeks ago got crickets. But then she legit injures a fan favorite, who also is a storyline heel but one the fans actually care about. And now she's over as a heel.
  6. That got silly with the 2.9 kickouts and went too long, but what a match. And kudos to Ciampa for working with only boot on for the last 10 minutes or so.
  7. Dream with the ring post figure-four! I don't know why more people don't steal that spot. And then they worked the regular figure-four in the ring wonderfully.
  8. All that forced melodrama...Johnny especially needs to tone down the overacting and let the match speak for itself. Unrelated, Dream's hair tonight is just amazing.
  9. I already cringe any time Bryan takes a hard bump on his shoulders/neck, like with that backdrop superplex spot he's done a few times. I may just have to shut my eyes when he wrestles Brock.
  10. Not sure of the interview you mean, but he yells "youth". Or "YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTHHHHHHHH" if you'd like it phonetically
  11. Welp, from Sean Ross Sapp: It's only a tentative report, and to my knowledge only from Sapp, so caveat emptor.
  12. Robert was very good and I hope you have him on again. Maybe it's just that they're both Canadian and have a deadpan delivery, but did anyone else get a Norm MacDonald vibe off of him?
  13. Don't know about the first sentence, but the second is obviously true. Troy must never have seen Koko's squash match against The Masked Patriot. He learned, though. Interesting: Jim Troy's Wikipedia article cites Bret Hart's book in reporting about this incident. If anyone has a copy, can they post the relevant bit? No page numbers on the citation, alas.
  14. They're going to have to very carefully manage the inevitable Ronda-Becky face-to-face confrontation because Becky will destroy her.
  15. Honest question here, not a troll: how did they get paid for that show? It wasn't explicitly government propaganda like the SA show will be, but I always assumed the NK government at least subsidized the show
  16. I don't know why they had that Bryan-AJ match on Smackdown, but goddamn it was awesome so I'm not going to worry about it too much. How about that finishing sequence?
  17. Upon reflection, do you really think this is something that is a good idea to post?
  18. Yeah, I guess. It's a weird way to handle it though, especially for two people who are close to RR like Renee and Corey. The announcing team is pros - they're back to calling the show normally. I'd probably be under the desk weeping.
  19. I said it in the other thread, but probably better here: it was so strange how the announcers gave no indication as to what was coming, mentioned the upcoming Saudi match and threw it to Roman in the ring.
  20. One thing that struck me was how the announcers treated this like just another show-opening promo, hyping the Saudi match and throwing it to Roman in the ring.
  21. Holy fucking shit, Roman just relinquished the title because his leukemia is back.
  22. They've been doing this since he died. For whatever reason, the mainstream in general doesn't particularly care about all that awful shit said by Warrior. Same with AJ Styles when he was signed by WWE - I figured that rant of his about the "gay community" would go viral but it just didn't catch on.
  23. For anyone as curious as I am, the house is no longer there. Or perhaps it was a fake address all along?
  24. Slightly off-topic: man, mainstream publications cannot resist throwing a wrestling pun in wrestling headline.
  25. Fascinating! There's an alternate universe out there where WCW outflanks WWF by having Nitro debut in 1988, not 1995.
