  1. I understand what you're saying, and agree with it to an extent, but it's easy to say that on a message board. I'd imagine it's quite a different story for the workers.
  2. Looks like it is actually titled Box of Moon Light and stars John Turturro and Sam Rockwell. Fun fact: the first two "plot keywords" are "pubic hair" and "male pubic hair".
  3. ...because the Administrator of the Small Business Administration has such a large influence on foreign policy? I am surprised they haven't taken more flack from the fact she's a Trump cabinet member, but I don't know why the WWE's Saudi deal would affect it one way or the other.
  4. Manager talking over the house mic while the match is going on is a bad bit. It confuses the crowd - they're waiting for the manager to talk and not really paying attention to the match.
  5. Is this Dave? Or a from a letter?
  6. Yes, I didn't make this clear enough in my reaction tweets last night - it's all about the Sonics, not really about Elias/Owens.
  7. Bald Shawn Michaels is really quite something.
  8. I mean, they're still booing. This is amazing.
  9. Damn, Seattle is still pissed about losing the Sonics.
  10. If the wrestling thing didn't pan out, with those nicknames Dave could have been a copywriter for Garbage Pail Kids.
  11. Stephanie is pretty great at her corporate boss lady character, though overexposure hurts her like it does anyone. And I did like Hunter bailing as soon he saw where things were going with Corbin.
  12. Holy shit! Ron Wright is the king.
  13. Chris Harrington pointed this out on twitter yesterday. I've been an Observer subscriber for 15+ years and I never realized that before now. I wonder how many voters didn't realize it either? Rip this up and start again.
  14. I haven't seen this Smackdown since it aired, and I didn't remember much aside from the obviously tone-deaf Stephanie thing. Vince's speech at the top was not nearly as bad as I feared it would be. JBL's, on the other hand...
  15. So the show last night was called "Destruction in Hiroshima"? Maybe it's a translation issue, but yeesh...
  16. Can't believe I forgot him. When he passed, like half of his Observer obituary was Dave geeking out on his powerlifting records.
  17. I don't know if Ricochet is the most athletic ever, but he is the most graceful flyer I've ever seen, especially live. Some guys who haven't been mentioned are Bob Backlund (college football and wrestling All-American (sure, D2, but in the late 60s the differences weren't as great as they are now), and still looks amazing today) and Tatsumi Fujinami.
  18. It's been a rather forgettable episode of Raw tonight but I always get a laugh at Braun wandering around backstage, yelling and throwing things. And it was impressive when he nailed some guy with a water bottle pretty far down the hall.
  19. From what I understand from Twitter (as I'm not a listener), Bischoff has been taking shots at Dave ever since his podcast started. This is just one more in a long line of them.
  20. Before Taker came out Shawn's promo was corny as hell but damn it got good once the confrontation started.
  21. Crowds reacting to Undertaker like it's 1997 or something is always amazing. Two high-profile losses didn't hurt him in the slightest, his longevity is really remarkable.
  22. Saw someone on Twitter propose Miz/Maryse/Almas/Vega v Bryan/Bellas/Cena for Survivor Series and it's one of those fantasy booking ideas that's so damn good I'm going to be disappointed when it doesn't happen.
  23. Bryan v Almas is pretty darn cool so far.
  24. Saw this on twitter: Akira Taue had stomach cancer surgery in April, and has been in treatment since then.
  25. As if there wasn't enough out there to watch, yeesh...
