  1. No matter what you think of Mike Tyson, he's an elite athlete, one of the most fearsome boxers who has ever lived. Why he can't do a crotch chop to save his life is still mysterious 20 years later. And the original D-Generation X theme is still a banger, even when played live.
  2. B. Brian Blair just wrote this on Twitter: So I don't know what's happening here.
  3. WWE denied to Pro Wrestling Sheet that the Hogan locker room apology/speech thing was filmed.
  4. Weekly Pro Wrestling in Japan is reporting that Masa Saito has passed away. He was a legendary tough guy and a great worker for a long time.
  5. Even though I'm from Cincinnati, I retain a fondness for Pittsburgh as a fellow faded industrial town. This crowd is making me reconsider.
  6. Is this match a qualifier for the 2018 CrossFit Games? Or just for the Intercontinental title?
  7. Plus he's 42! Dude is quite the physical specimen. All of these dudes are blessed but Bobby is a reminder that genetics are simply not fair.
  8. Match of the night, but there's only about a dozen ways that backdrop to the floor could have gone horribly wrong.
  9. Let's hope this insane Owens table bump gets remembered longer than last PPV's insane Owens table bump.
  10. This show has certainly existed so far. Nothing particularly objectionable, nothing great either.
  11. I don't particularly care one way or the other about Hogan, but this is surprising by WWE. They don't need him at all, so why have another potential problem on your payroll?
  12. According to Twitter, Memphis manager Nate "the Rat" Whitlock passed away today. He was quite the character - his interview on Scott Bowden's Kentucky Fried Wrasslin' podcast was wild. On a side note, his brother is legendary Memphis keyboard player Bobby Whitlock, who was Derek and the Dominos.
  13. I don't listen to WOR but in the Observer obit (and other times he's written about the match) I thought he meant "never seen before" in pro wrestling at Sumo Hall, not first time ever.
  14. Damn, Asuka lit up poor Ellsworth with that slap, knocked him so silly he forgot to sell the backfist. The Kane/Bryan interplay continues to be amusing, though it's a bit of a waste of Bryan.
  15. This is a really good match.
  16. It appears to be his legal name.
  17. The first part of your post looks familiar...
  18. Hopefully that's the way they go, and they hold off on both matches until SummerSlam.
  19. I was down on Ronda-Nia because I thought it was too early to put the belt on Ronda and you don't want her losing either. They they were able backdoor their way out of it with Alexa cashing in, but now I'm thinking it's a mistake because Ronda is so fucking good already, why not put the belt on her and run with it?
  20. Jimmy Dream! Ellsworth is back!

I love Shayna, she has a great aura - she feels dangerous. Eventually, her v Ronda is going to be bonkers, too much charisma for one ring. I also popped for Nikki's St. Andrew's cross-themed gear.

They had them turned until the ref kicked Cole to the back. I don't quite get why they're insisting on Era being heels when the crowd wants to cheer them, but whatever, it turned out to be a great match anyway. Hyped for Velveteen Dream v Ricochet.
  23. Good little match there with Bryan and Benjamin. Loved that knee crusher to the announcers' table.
  24. Well that does change my opinion, obviously. And it's not just terrible, but deeply weird - what a strange fellow Punk is.
  25. Certainly Punk is a prick for cutting off contact completely (if that's all that happened between the two), but I don't know...if you're involved in a lawsuit that is at least tacitly supported by a company, maybe don't hang out backstage like nothing's wrong?
