Probably perspective fooling with me, but someone on Twitter posted a picture from the crowd of the cage superplex spot and holy shit that's a really bad idea. That was Wargames in name only, and that's okay. It was a really good WWE multi-man car crash match.

They're also not utilizing the second ring enough. Most of the action is shoved in one ring while the other is a space for guys to nap. I'm still enjoying the match, it just has some weaknesses.

I think I figured out why they've never done this gimmick before: it's because WWE production can't figure out how to shoot a cage match with two rings. The amount of camera switching in this is giving me nausea.

Can't believe no one mentioned Casas' awesomely evil laugh at the end of his promo. And the crowd was either mic'd very well or was extra-loud because the heat came off incredibly well.

Part of Dave's twitter bit is QT-ing and snarkily responding to the dumbest of his replies so there's more than a little confirmation bias in there. This is a weird hill for Dave to try to die on but again, that's part of his twitter persona.

The irony (if that's the right word) is that the usual criticism of the baseball HOF is how the 10-vote limit system is flawed, and a how yes/no system would be much better.

In storyline terms, Raw was embarrassed last week. She should be pissed. Also, I guess those Nia Jax rumors were a bit overblown, huh?

Jeff was great. It's too bad WWE hasn't put up the syndicated shows from this era, as the crowd heat is just amazing. It's a totally different vibe than the WCW studio shows that are on the network. If you haven't seen them, they are pretty easy to find on the streaming and torrent sites.

What are the other three episodes? I only remember the GWE monster episode. Was that split into three parts?

True, but he does look super happy to be back performing. He had a huge smile on his face standing behind Ambrose and Rollins. Also, I love how they're acting like it's Kurt's first match in 11 years, instead of the first match *in WWE* in 11 years.

That was a heck of a match. The super-hot crowd really added to it, made it feel like an event.

Ced/Swann v Kendrick/Gallagher was a lot of fun. I think Cedric in particular is really good. Good crowd so far tonight, let's hope they keep it up.

Yeah, other than bringing Bryan back (which they're (probably correctly) dead-set on not doing) there's no one other than Angle who would fit the bill if Roman can't go. It would be cool if they threw Itami or Hero in, but it wouldn't make the same impact for the regular fan I guess.

Starting this thread early due to the news that Roman and Bray are off the show, I guess due to the meningitis. AJ Styles will take Bray's spot against Balor, and Roman's spot will be filled by...Kurt Angle? That's right, the recovering drug addict in his mid-forties with a bad neck is coming back in a TLC match, on two days notice with zero build. Besides the obvious worry about Roman's (and Bray/JoJo/Bo's) health, I was personally hoping to see The Shield back in action. I guess they felt like they had to replace it with an equally anticipated re-debut?

This was understandably overshadowed by Lance's passing and the wonderful Exile tribute to him, but thanks Kevin and Kris, this was great. I wish we had more of the WWA on tape, but that's true of all territories, really.

Nah. Roman kicked out of all of Cena's offense but one spear put Cena down. (I don't know how I should count the spear through the table.)

I know this is old hat but Cena is insanely strong. I mean, catching Roman and putting him on his shoulders for an AA? Nuts.
