Man, Johnny is good, and I'm glad to see Almas finally finding something that feels right for him. That Gargano Escape near fall was dope, and the finish worked too.
Only caught the Smackdown main event but it was pretty good. They may have lost confidence in Corbin and are phasing him down, but his shoulder was definitely up at 2. That feels important.
What is the deal with the dead crowds for AJW during this period? They sat on their hands until the finishing stretch of the third fall, and even then they weren't exactly hot.
Here's a shocker: Cena-Nakamura was a really good match! That was less a reverse exploder and more of a backdrop driver at the finish there. Cena's up and about after the match so I hope he's okay.
Raw's opening segment was great. Hopefully the dude who Braun tossed over the top rope to the floor is okay.
Strange how the quality of the shows has flipped over the past few months. Raw's been great lately and Smackdown is bad.
Crowd doesn't care and/or can't see, as they're just amusing themselves with chants. "Trust the process" and a half-hearted "delete" were the ones I heard.
The Braun-Roman is the feud that keeps on giving. Specifically, giving hilarious, ridiculous stunts involving ambulances. Fight forever, as the kids say.
EDIT: now they've got the actual jaws of life. This is awesome.
