Nikki's hyperactive Scottish version of Rick Rude's hip-swivel taunt was adorable. Her and Alexa's run has been a lot of fun.

That was a hell of a promo Becky cut on Sasha. More of that, please. And we're 2-2 on hometown jobs tonight!

Pretty fun stuff with Cedric/AJ. And not that there should have been a different result, but WWE loves beating dudes in their hometown.

I've long thought that WWE could gain an easy advantage over potential rivals and head off demands for a union (not that they really exist) by converting wrestlers to full-time employees. They obviously have the money even before the Fox deal, and doing so would either dramatically increase AEW's cost structure or give them a huge PR hit by not following suit. From what I understand, this bill seems targeted at Uber/Lyft/etc. gig-economy type of companies as opposed to WWE specifically, but who knows.

I've long since stopped watching other than the Takeovers, but Malcolm Bivens' (the former Stokely Hathaway) Twitter-based search for his stolen CD player has been very amusing. Someone at Fightful helpfully collated the investigation for us.

Between the Sheets - Chronologically

It was a while ago, but I remember him being much more enjoyable than his twitter persona would otherwise have led me to believe. -

Trav hasn't been around in a while and this list hasn't been updated in about a year so I decided to give it a shot. (Mods, feel free to copy/paste to the top post.) -
Seth calling himself the "best in the world" and the crowd giving a collective eh was quite the moment.
-
Like everyone else, I love Stone Cold but I have to agree with AJ on the "what?" chants.
-
From next week's Observer: "Psychology-wise, this was the best match of the night". The crowd is trying to hang in there, but this doesn't seem to be working.
-
Whoever is directing this show loves cutting to crowd shots, specifically crowd shots of women. The ladder match is pretty much a dead genre at this point. There were some good spots, and a couple of nutty ones, but lots of down time setting them up which just kills it for me.
-
Not much of a match, but it's the first match that seemed to engage the crowd throughout. They seemed really invested in the outcome, and I can't say that for the rest of the show.
-
It's always good to see Arn Anderson. And it's even better to see him hit a spinebuster.
-
Is the Star Trek theme in reference to something I missed on the YT shows? Or is it just a bit? And of course the poor dog is freaked out by the pyro! Independence Day wasn't even 2 months ago!
-
Excalibur deserves better - he's doing the work of three people tonight.
-
That was way too long and very dumb, but fun nonetheless.
-
I've said Darby is aiming for a spinal for a couple of years now, but he's still going.
-
Gotta say, I did not expect Cracker Barrel to sponsor a match on this show. That's next-level weird, and I like it. The thread is dead because the show has been kinda meh so far.
-
This is a very fun spotfest - I like both acts. And Christopher Daniels with the great looking moonsault and he's older than Jericho. I get why they would want him there, but JR is just washed at this point.
-
I don't hate Corey Graves by any means, but I'm kinda enjoying the break from him tonight. Although having (essentially) two play-by-play people on the call is sort of strange.
