I honestly think Ali might have the best shot of winning this of anyone on Smackdown. I expect a Raw superstar to win, but Ali going from 205 Live to Winning the Rumble in about a a month would be a great story.

I work tonight at 7 central which makes me sad. However, I downloaded the WWE app specifically just to listen to the Rumble at work. Pluses of an overnight shift.

This is probably my least hyped Takeover in a very long while. I think I'm completely over the Gargano and Ciampa storyline which now has both the World and TV title match wrapped up in it. The Tag Title match just looks eh. Hero/Riddle will probably be fun but I'm not the biggest Riddle guy so far. Really the one match I am very interested in is Bayzler/Belair.

I haven't posted in this thread in a long time, I just wanted to say I still love the show. I started working overnights a couple weeks ago, and I've listened from the very start all the way to Wrestlerave at this point during them, and it just further solidiied as one of my favorite podcasts. That said, after the great run of shows in 2003 it does feel like we are in the middle of a "dead period" were you are at, but I'm eagerly awaiting the post RF days. Reborn Stage 1 to Death Before Dishonor 2 NIght 2 is one of my favorite runs in company history, and Generation Next and Survival of the Fittest might be Gabes best booking accomplishments on back to back shows.

Breaking News: RoH given permission to add former RoH Champion Cody Rhodes to RoH World Title Tournament, will face Austin Aries on RoH TV on Friday. We have officially received word from RoH officials today that WCW has agreed to send Cody Rhodes to work the Ring of Honor World Title Tournament. RoH officials have stated they are ecstatic over the arrangement, and have been working some last minute changes to there tournament in order to make it work, but thought the opportunity was something they had to take. They were quick to announce that Cody's 1st round opponent will be Austin Aries, and that they are excited to see how his match will go down.
