  1. Im curious about Paul Boesch vs George Harris III. By my results it took place in 1971. Could be interesting.
  2. Has anyone seen "The Life and Times of Paul Boesch" on youtube. It has some great clips of Johnny Valentine vs Bull Curry and Paul Boesch vs Boris Malenko. Very Cool.
  3. The date for the Midget match is 3/28/75.
  4. The 3rd fall of that tag match was great. Really hope to see the whole thing if its available. Lewin/Spoiler seem like a great team.
  5. Being a Aussie myself this was really cool to see. The announcer is "Mr Football" Ted Whitten, who was one of the greatest footballers of his era. I had no idea he announced the wrestling since all I hear about is his football career. There is a legends football match each year in honour of him and the proceeds go to his charity supporting prostate cancer which took his life. As for the match this was a good little match that made both guys look good. Martel is really good here and really underrated as a talent. Harley is Harley, just a great champion getting the job done.
  6. I had Undertaker flashbacks.
  7. The Spoiler vs Ken Patera is up.
  8. Dick Murdoch vs Al Madril just got uploaded with no date so I went looking. BTW the picture quality is amazing. I found this on wrestlingdata.com February 24 1978 Ron Slinker vs Denny Alberts Jay Youndblood vs Billy Spears David Von Erich vs Barry Orton Eric the Red vs Gino Hernandez Al Madril vs Dick Murdoch Rocky Johnson vs Killer Karl Krupp
  9. Thanks a lot khawk. Now I wont get mad at the ref.
  10. Looks like we are getting "spoiled" this week. Just one question. During the 3rd fall of the Dale/Spoiler match, why did the referee kick spoilers hand off the bottom rope? Isnt the submission hold supposed to be broken?
  11. Just a random post here but I just read a review on this forum about a Brisco/Race match from Houston 11/9/73. Has anyone else seen this match? I'm shocked someone has footage of it and it wouldn't surprise me if Boesch taped it since he didn't tape the July match.

  13. Funk/Lewin is from 4/27/79.
  14. My last guess would be Jack Brisco vs Mad Dog Vachon. I highly doubt it.
  15. Harley Race vs Andre The Giant
  16. April 19 1974
  17. ^ I think this match is from 1980.
  18. I think NWAclassics just hit a nerve in WWE. They have released a ton of territorial footage in the last 2 days. We knew it was coming but not this quick. Old school fans are getting christmas early.
  19. Hey Bruce, any closer to finding that Brisco v Lanza match. No hurry.
  20. Talking about face value, Ive yet to see a match to say Harley Race was the toughest man going around. All the matches Ive seen of him all he does is bump and make the challenger look good. I want to see him kicking some ass and hopefully his matches against Wahoo in 78 & 79 will show this. Speaking of the Spoiler, I love his offense, using the ropes, getting the most out of his moves, really ahead of his time and hope to see his matches with Brisco and his NWA title match against Race from 79.
  21. Is that Don Jardine or Scott Irwin?
  22. I was looking through the Houston results and found a guy named Bill White. Ive never heard of him before and so I looked on youtube and watched a very good tv match against Steamboat and just want to know how good of a worker was he.
  23. The holy grail of Bock matches would be the 1 hour draw with Funk in 77. I would be shocked if Boesch taped that. Looking forward to Bock v Dusty.
  24. ^ Why does everyone spell BOCKWINKEL's name wrong? lol. Anyway the match was very good and a lot of fun and loved Nick's post match interview. Cant wait to see the rematch.
  25. Just read Meltzer's fantastic piece on Nick Bockwinkel in his newsletter, what a great career and life this man had. Hope to see more of his matches pop up on NWAclassics.
