  1. If anyone has noticed some matches being unavailable, they seem to be reformatting every match that was posted with the old site and matching it with the matches on the new site.
  2. Do you have a card listing for May 18th 1979? No, but I'll keep looking.
  3. Date wrong for Madril/Krupp. Its 1/6/78. 2 ring shows are mostly in January.
  4. The date for Lewin/Kamata is 10/26/79. Same crowd as the 6 man tag posted a few days ago.
  5. If they are going to do a Houston Wrestling show, someone needs to tell Conrad about NWAonDemand. I dont think he knows about it. It just sounded like Conrad has no idea about Houston's history and the fact there is video footage out there.
  6. Here's the card if you are interested. 8/2/74 – Houston, TX @ Sam Houston Coliseum Superstar Billy Graham vs Ken Patera 2/3 Falls (No Ropes) Arm Wrestling Blackjacks vs Jose Lothario & Tex McKenzie El Gran Markus vs Bobby Garcia Mr Kung Fu vs Red Bastien Inca Peru vs Scott Casey
  7. Why didnt we get the match between Superstar/Patera? Or is that going to be seperate.
  8. Yeah Conrad really came off like a prick, he thinks Bruce is going to remember every little detail of his life. Asking a bit much dont you think. Flair also embarrassed him on his latest podcast about the WCW powerplant which I got a kick out of.
  9. New Pat Patterson documentary "I DID IT MY WAY" released a few days ago on youtube. NOT on the WWE network but its done by WWE.
  10. The Thesz/Gunkel match was very good. Wasn't expecting a 40 minute match at all. Too bad about the finish, I really wanted to see the 3rd fall.
  11. Here's why the Harley/Wahoo match took place.
  12. Race v Wahoo 2/10/78 I really suck at reviews but I had to give this match one. What a fantastic match this was, couldnt wait for it to be released. Glad they brought in Dick Kroll to referee. He officiated a lot of WWWF main events. Look at Wahoo staring at Harley after a minute in, you knew things were getting serious. At the 5 minute mark Wahoo delivered a vicious chop that I felt and a beautiful butterfly suplex to go with it. Wahoo laying it in and into a long headlock segment. Big vertical suplex and HUGE chop off the ropes by Wahoo. Suplex by Race and takes the 1st fall. Man that was intense. 2nd fall begins with hard knees to Wahoo stomach and nice piledriver by Race, I really miss that move today. Race wearing down Wahoo and eventually knees Race in the head. Wahoo coming back with more chops than a lamb. Race is getting pummelled, another HUGE chop and Wahoo takes the fall. 3rd fall Wahoo going nuts, he can sense victory. More chops and a shoulder tackle. Race to the top rope, Wahoo catches him and throws him with force. To the outside and both get rammed into the post. Race is busted and like a shark Wahoo attacks. The crowd is on its feet cheering Wahoo on, Race is bleeding badly and now both are hitting each other with everything they got. Wahoo with a pair of butterfly suplexes but cant finish him off. Race went for suplex but Wahoo counters into a roll up 1...2.... Race counters holding Wahoo's trunks 1....2.....3. Its all over. Race escapes just barely. WOW what a match. The chops, the headbutts, the blood, this had everything you would want from a NWA Title match. This went 25 minutes, I could've watch these 2 for an hour. This was highly enjoyable and worth the wait. ****1/2 The good news is there is 6 more matches between these two hopefully to come.
  13. Race vs Wahoo is up. This is going to be awesome.
  14. I wonder how Lothario is doing these days. I would love to hear his life story.
  15. Its not a full list, just what they had catalogued at the time and Bruce has said the library has not been completely catalogued so I would expect a lot more. Ok off to bed. Hopefully another match will be put up when I wake up.
  16. These are from a list that Bruce posted in another forum 4 years ago about NWA title matches in the library. 2-10-78 NWA TITLE - HARLEY RACE VS. WAHOO McDANIEL 6-01-79 NWA TITLE - HARLEY RACE VS. WAHOO McDANIEL 2-28-81 NWA TITLE - HARLEY RACE VS. WAHOO McDANIEL
  17. April 19 1974 I dont have results for this card but have all of 1970,71 & 72 and most from 73,74,75,76 & 77. Cant wait for Harley v Wahoo. Bring it on.
  18. That doesnt look like the Summit. Either this was from a different show or it was relocated. I guess we will know if the other matches show up.
  19. Im back in. It was a firefox issue thank goodness, now I can watch this cage match.
  20. Anybody having problems logging in.
  21. I like these double uploads keep it up. I didnt mind the TV special. It did worry me that the only match taped from 1970 was his own which would be a shame. Lots of slideshows which is fine considering the time but overall a nice little treat. I enjoyed the junior match a lot. I didnt think I would like these matches but Thornton was really good as was Diamond, just a good competitive match that I hope we see more of.
  22. Tell me Boesch taped the main event as well.
  23. If anyone wants some dates for curry/valentine & boesch/malenko. 6/20/69 Houston – Bull Curry NC Johnny Valentine Wahoo McDaniel W Gary Hart Buster Lloyd W George Gaiser Thunderbolt Patterson W-DQ Baron von Raschke Reggie Parks D Alex Perez Danny Plechas W Gorilla Lopez 5/15/70 Houston, TX @ Sam Houston Coliseum Texas Death Match Wahoo McDaniel beat Johnny Valentine Killer Kowalski beat Nick Kozak Public Workout Great Malenko drew Paul Boesch Killer Karl Kox beat Eduardo Perez Ripper Secuna beat Cyclone Soto Lord Charles Montague beat Juan Sebastian
  24. NWA World Title Match - Jack Brisco vs. the Spoiler - This cant be the 79 match if its for the title. Really excited for this. NWA World Title - 1977 - Harley Race vs. Terry Funk - This should be awesome. Bull Curry vs. Johnny Valentine - OH HELL YEAH! Looks like my weekend is set.
  25. High definition has not done George Harris any favors but this match was really cool to see. Boesch pulled out some nice moves and looked pretty good, he reminded me of Thesz for some reason. The picture quality is fantastic for 1971. I hope we get more matches from this time period. I believe this is the card if anyone is interested. 8/13/71 Houston, TX @ Sam Houston Coliseum American Champion Wahoo McDaniel drew Johnny Valentine Paul Boesch vs George Blimp Harris Ray Mendoza vs Toru Tanaka 2/3 Nick Kozak vs Thunderbolt Patterson Buddy Wolff vs Bobby Shane Jose Lothario vs Bronko Lubich
