Some great matches on these cards but the one that really stands out to me the most, MX vs. The Windhams! Big win for DJ Peterson...as he continues to climb up the ranks here in WCCW. What an amazing tag team division that's coming together here....it's going to be tough for the Midnight Express to hold on to those titles with all this top competition building up! Crazy star power in those main events! Great job!

Gossett Interviews: Rick Stewart AWA Southeastern Commissioner: Les Thatcher TV Recap: The show opens with highlights from June Jam 3 as 41,000 fans saw Al Madril defeat Wendell Cooley using a chain to win the Mississippi Championship, Johnny Rich/Steve Armstrong defeating the Nightmares and then shaving their heads much to the delight of the fans, Brad Armstrong winning the AWA World Light Heavyweight championship from Dynamite Kid in one of the greatest matches of the AWA in 1984, and "Bullet" Bob Armstrong pinning "Nature Boy" Ric Flair to win the Southeastern Heavyweight Championship! We then cut to the opening montage….. Charlie Platt welcomes everyone to the show as Gossett cuts him saying what a disappointment June Jam was with all the "travesties" that took place such as the Nightmares being "stripped of their hair and their dignity while drunken rednecks laughed and cheered"…..the greatest champion in the AWA, Ric Flair being robbed by Bob Armstrong….and "the only upshot was my close personal amigo Alberto Madril beating that dime store wannabe cowboy Dwindle Cooley for the Mississippi title!" Platt says that's Gossett's opinion and most folks are super excited about what took place in Ft. Payne, Alabama last week. MATCH #1: "Wildcat" Wendell Cooley pinned Randy Watson after a running bulldog Cooley joins Rick Stewart and cuts a fiery promo about getting screwed out of his Mississippi title and said that he spoke to the Commish, Les Thatcher and since Al Madril likes chains so much tonight's championship rematch will be a 'Chain Match'! Al Madril came storming out saying there's no in hell this is happening and demands to speak to Thatcher….Les comes out and confirms tonight's title match will in deed be a chain match and if Madril doesn't want to do it he can forfeit the title and leave the promotion….Madril clutched his chest…and said "fine, but if anything happens….the blood is on your hands." COMMERCIAL BREAK MATCH #2: Super Ninja w/Mr. Fuji & Skandor Akbar vs. Mike Jackson Ninja looked to have Jackson beat…..but Fuji kept getting up on the apron telling him to inflict more punishment on Jackson…..after a couple of times….Ninja went over and shoved Fuji…who shoved him back causing him to trip over Jackson who hooked his legs and got the surprise pinfall!! Post match: Akbar/Fuji are irate…..Akbar gets a microphone and tells Ninja that he's "screwed up for the last time"….Ninja grabbed Akbar by the collar….but One Man Gang hits the ring and attacks Super Ninja…..he hooks Ninja's arms behind him and holds him as Fuji slaps him a couple of times and then pulls the mask off revealing Ron Slinker, they beat Slinker down and leave him in the ring VTR: The Nightmares who refused to appear in studio today due to their "situation"….appear on this video which appears to have been shot moments after having their heads were shaved as they have towels over their heads and are irate…..they demand to face Johnny Rich and Steve Armstrong in a match where the losers get 'tarred and feathered' so they can experience at least a portion of the humiliation they have getting their heads shaved. COMMERCIAL BREAK MATCH #3 U.S. Jr. Heavyweight Championship "Hustler" Rip Rogers w/Ms. Brenda Britton & Masked Thunderbolt defeated The Blue Cyclone with a swinging neck breaker Post match: Rick Stewart interviews Rogers who still insists that Masked Thunderbolt is Thunderbolt Patterson and he's incensed that Scott Armstrong has brought out some masked man that stuck his nose in his business….He says that whoever this masked guy is with Scott Armstrong, he's going to be handcuffed to Masked Thunderbolt tonight at the Houston County Farm Center. Scott Armstrong comes out followed by his masked friend….Scott asks Rogers if he's seriously going to continue this charade that Masked Thunderbolt is Thunderbolt Patterson…..Rogers insists this is no charade, this is Thunderbolt Patterson! Armstrong replies, "Oh really??"….and with that the masked man with Scott removes his mask to reveal……..THUNDERBOLT PATTERSON! A wild brawl ensues between all four….that has to be broken up by security…. Paul Ellering says that Hawk and Animal have not forgotten what Kabuki and Nagasaki did at the June Jam and if they think we're just going to go back around the world defending the tag titles and not come back seeking revenge….they are wrong….dead wrong. Summer Blast quickly took shape to be the event of the summer! Hogan vs. Jumbo for the title is going to bring people from all over to witness this live! I love the Jayhawks but I'm super excited to see the Mr. Wrestlings face off with the Fabs for the Southern Tag titles! I don't feel like Atlas is ready for the intensity that Ayala is bringing to this match...time will tell. It's always fun to see who Lawler pulls out as a "mystery partner" especially in a cage...this one should get bloody! I don't think Fergie knows what he's done! Decimation vs. The Warriors is going to be a WAR!!

Great job building up DJ Peterson so far, on paper I wouldn't give Peterson a chance against Herc, but with everything that has gone on so far, I have to believe he has a real chance at becoming TV Champ! Great debuts for Garvin and Kendall Windham....both hit the ground running with impressive wins! Great job with the Cornette promos so far....I could hear/see every bit of that exchange with Watts, looking forward to the rematch next week.

Nice win for Big Jim over Ox Baker! The heel High Flyers seems surreal but it's working....especially winning matches with a low blow and ruining a great Main Event such as they did today.

Wow....Crusher really delivers with the mystery partners with not one but TWO bonifide legends! Nice! It will be interesting to see how things play out with Rude and Baby Doll! A sickle for Gilbert....this young lions final is going to be tough to call.

Glad to see the Moondogs here....they will be a thorn in someone's side soon I'm sure. Good first series of matches for the Midnight Express! I would have really enjoyed those Windham vs. Grappler matches!

It was announced to look forward to seeing Southeastern Championship Wrestling next year at June Jam IV!

This big card certainly delivered and then some! Tito gets a solid win over Roop that will quickly raise him up in the rankings Chavo was built up perfectly to seem like a legit threat to Tully's TV title but Tully retains...very well done. I like both the Jayhawks and The Wrestlings.....good way to go here...they still have plenty more story to tell. Proud to see the Fabs regain the Southern tag team titles....and I finally get the brutal heel Ayala I've been longing for....perfectly timed.....and while there won't be any rematches for the former champs....Decimation is ready and waiting to come after the titles. Just when you think HTM vs. Lawler couldn't be anymore of a perfect "southern rasslin feud", here comes a fake King who is also allegedly Lawler's cousin as well to join the fray....I LOVE IT!! Funk vs. Bockwinkle is a classic match for the ages....and if Bockwinkle ends up getting traded away after this....what a match to end on!

Jesse the Body is right where he belongs, a great addition to your territory! Great way to further build anticipation for Magnum vs. Steele, the crowd will be red hot when gets his hands on Steele! Great win for the Rougeaus that just further establishes them as big stars here in Worldwide. Backlund/Snuka in a Cage will very likely sell out the Garden!

Fun shows as Gino Hernandez continues to pull the strings here in Florida The Russians are a great addition to the territory. Valentine comes off like such a star here and I really love the way you are building him Big win for the RPMs to defeat the House of Humperdink!

Wow, what a way to follow up off the big Star Wars shows and leading to another one! You did a great job describing the transformation of Tiger Conway here and I could really visualize the exact picture you were painting here, Conway and his tag team are going to be force here in AWA World Class! I absolutely love the debut of Cornette...perfect promo and oh boy the heat MX would get coming in and taking the belts in their debut....amazing stuff! While you could never get away with anything close to his promo today, that was classic 'Dr. D' and an absolute perfect way to sell out the buildings as he builds his title match with JYD!

Another great show here....great showing from"Big Jim" here that gets people's attention. Another great match disrupted by Gagne and company that has to really be firing the Stampede crowd against them. Bad News gets what he wants but Hogan didn't realize he had an ace up his sleeve with the Brain...great stuff....can't wait to see the Spectacular!

Great Main Event here with some heavy hitters! Buddy Landel making a bold statement in his debut. Savage sticks to Heenan once again....I love it.

OMG...I LOVE the reveal of Gino Hernandez being the mastermind behind all this havoc in ACCW.....this is going to be fun to watch unfold. The Russians should have a big impact here and will be a good fit.

Great job highlighting the Star Wars card while also throwing in some more action to boot. The Moondogs should be a good fit here in Texas and it will be interesting to see what happens if they get a chance to take on the Blackjacks down the line WOW, the Von Erichs are on a roll getting rid of the Freebirds and now the Russians as well....it will be interesting to see what's next for the First Family of Texas.

Another great TV, HTM vs. Dream Machine is a fun match and keeps the Lawler/HTM feud heated Tully Blanchard is one of the hottest heels in the game right now! The Fabs vs. the champs will be an excellent title match, it will be interesting to see if they Stan/Steve can finally take those titles that have alluded them for months now. Awesome main event this week with Bock getting a win over Funk.....an already great Louisville Gardens card gets hotter with each tv show.

Southeastern drops Ted Allen and picks up Thunderbolt Patterson

We see footage of the Nightmares heinous post match attack on Steve Armstrong/Johnny Rich from Tuscaloosa last night and we then hear from the Rat Patrol who are enraged over this situation and promise revenge on Danny Davis and Ken Wayne for the unprovoked attack! Scott Armstrong comes out and tells the fans that he knows good and well that the so-called "Masked Thunderbolt" that cost him his U.S. Jr. Title is Larry Hamilton and that he's been granted a match against him tonight, Rip Rogers comes out and says that Armstrong is wrong that he has it on good authority that the "Masked Thunderbolt" is indeed Thunderbolt Patterson, he just doesn't want everyone to see how old he looks now…..this lead to a shoving match and Les Thatcher coming out and making a match here today on tv between Scott Armstrong and Rip Rogers for the U.S. Jr. Championship. Mr. Fuji brings out the new Southeastern Tag Team Champions The Great Kabuki/Kendo Nagasaki along with Super Ninja. Fuji says they beat up the Midnight Express and Tojo so bad, we'll never see them again…then he says that beating Fuller/Golden was just the beginning and that he has pulled off something huge that he will reveal very soon that will turn Southeastern Championship Wrestling upside down…..in the midst of the promo the Fullers and Jimmy Golden stormed out and demanded a rematch for the tag titles….Fuji told them if they could beat them in a six man tag team match tonight, they could have a rematch right here on tv next week….and that he would even ban himself from ringside for that title match if they could beat them in a six man tag tonight….Ron Fuller eagerly agreed….but as he went to leave, Kabuki sprayed the green mist in his eyes and he had to be helped from the studio. AWA World Light Heavyweight Champion Dynamite Kid was in the studio today and said that he gets to tag with Ric Flair tonight against Bob and Brad Armstrong….if the Armstrongs win, then Bob gets a title shot against Flair at June Jam and Brad gets a shot against him at June Jam….BUT if he and Flair win….the Armstrongs don't get ANY title shots for the next 90 days. Flair comes out and says that pound for pound the Dynamite Kid may be the greatest wrestler in the sport today…..aside from himself of course and that there's no question that the two of them will own the Armstrongs tonight and they will be off their radar for the next 90 days! Jake Roberts is out as well and he says tonight that he will be putting his Alabama title on the line against Wendell Cooley and his Mississippi title in a 'Clash of the Champions/Winner takes All' Match and that he will have two belts when we see him next week….he also mentions that it's time for Les Thatcher to lift the ban on the DDT. And after a brief moment Michael Hayes, Terry Gordy, and Buddy Roberts come storming down the aisle and hit the ring with baseball bats …..and after a few good shots with the bats, Paul Jones and his Army retreat as Michael Hayes asks for a mic… Hayes: "Ric Flair, you boys don't run shit! Do YOU understand that?? Did you think you were really gonna pull that stunt in Texas and we wouldn't come find your ass in Alabama?? I don't care if we have to run through everybody in this so called Army…..we'll get to you and we'll get our revenge but next week at the June Jam, you're gonna be busy with the Bullet it seems but you send any of the rest of these clowns down to Badstreet and we'll show you who runs things in the AWA!"
