I also got to see Sid live at a house show in 1997 at the old Colisée in Quebec City. His match vs Taker ended in a double countout and they brawled all the way through the crowd to backstage. He and Taker went right beside where we were seating. Sid was HUGE.

Regardless of what anyone could think about his wrestling skills, no one can sit here and say that Sid wasn't entertaining as hell. He just had a presence about himself. Also seemed to be a genuinely loveable guy as well with friends and family. It's nice to see the tributes for him; I even saw a tweet from his best friend PCO, talking about how an idea that Sid had for a character for him turned into how the French Canadian Frankenstein character that PCO now has. Thought it was really cool of him to do that.
