  1. I kinda like the pairing of Harley Race & Tully Blanchard. But more specifically the possibility of James J. Dillon managing Harley Race. I think this should be something to consider!
  2. Well, for Carlos, I took him in part because Lutte Internationale had a great working relationship with WWC in Porto Rico so it was a natural fit for me to get him when I could. As for Backlund vs Valentine, that's always something that I keep in mind. Just waiting to pull it off at the right time.
  3. 4. I agree. Great balance both World Class and Mid-South. Blackjack Mulligan will be a very nice fit into Mid-South.
  5. Wow. Good to see Harley Race winning that US Championship but makes you wonder what will happen for Terry Taylor vs Sam Houston. Another solid TV taping!
  6. Just to point out that it still amazes me to this day that Steve McMichael actually was a Horseman.
  7. It's kind of unbelievable to look at how Alberto Del Rio is booked now and look back at his 2011 year and you're wondering what the hell went wrong. I thought that was a good go-home match to set up their TLC Match for the WWE Championship 6 days later. Looking back, you're really feeling like the day they moved Ricardo Rodriguez away from Alberto, things went so south for him.
  8. Absolutely. Lots of solid matches on your cards. This one was no exception.
  9. Always a big plus for me when you can insert Bobby Heenan in a match. Always willing to give a good bump when needed!
  10. Just wondering...was this Skinner's last WWF appearance? 'Cause I haven't seen Skinner afterwards.
  11. The Miz has been involved in many confusing finishes recently. This one was no different. And did Maryse knock a tooth off Bob Backlund with that slap? Anyway, pleasantly surprised with how they booked the WWE Championship match tonight. Maybe they value Dean Ambrose as a top star after all. And man, Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn ruled tonight. Everything I expected and more!
  12. I honestly thought that Terry Gordy would win this one. Excellent finish to that final match, though!
  13. Another great slate of Great American Bash shows. Who's gonna stop The Nature Boy?
  14. You're good to go.
  15. Well, since I have completely no use of Jesse Barr and he's taking a roster spot (plus I totally forgot that he was on my roster), he's on the trading block. Listening to all offers.
  16. Not necessarily. Lutte Internationale wasn't an NWA affiliate and Ric Flair defended the NWA World Championship multiple times in the territory.
  17. That's strange. I was sure that I had released Jesse Barr as soon as I moved the Detroit territory to Montreal. If not, I'll just put him on the trading block.
  18. Well, it would seem awkward for you to root for Flair in this one, Kevin!
  19. In that case, I don't have a problem with any way this one goes.
  20. Already loving the Idol/Landell/Johnny V. combo. Should make for a very interesting tag team division in the future!
  21. Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Definitely Jake Milliman wasn't retired in 1984. According to Wrestlingdata, he was in the AWA from 1982 to 1990, so he should still be active.
  22. Thank goodness you talked about checking cagematch or wrestlingdata for the rosters. I realized that there were in fact 2 Kendo Nagasakis and I was sure that Kazuo Sakurada was the only one using the gimmick. Peter Thornley also used the gimmick in the UK but there's a 10-year gap prior between 1977 and 1987 in which Thornley didn't compete. So, I think it should be important to keep in mind that Sakurada wrestled regularly until 2000 so we should be able to use him for a long time again. So, officially, if possible, could we have mentioned that it is Kazuo Sakurada with the Kendo Nagasaki gimmick?
  23. Very solid Great American Bash cards. Love that you didn't waste no time in booking Tully vs Magnum during the Bash. Hopefully, this becomes a feud soon!
  24. Just rewatched this match today. I think this was one of my favorite angles back then, maybe because DDP was so good at being a scumbag in his character that it was so enjoyable to watch him have his comeuppance and desperately trying to get back everything he had prior to losing the title to Johnny B. Badd. I personally think this is Marc Mero's best feud as Johnny B. Badd and this was also when I started paying more attention to DDP's work.
  25. Good card! Almost forgot that the King still had a score to settle with Leatherface!
