  1. Why change LA Knight's theme? It was a banger! Also Roxanne is just a natural at professional wrestling.
  2. Listen, ONE SLAM is all it takes to make that match worth it.
  3. Even if he never comes back, monetizing Twitch and having a nice and sweet commentary gig isn't the worst of deals. Dude is clearly comfortable on the mic.
  4. Top Dolla carries three dudes on his back. No matter the time and place, that shit will ALWAYS get a massive pop.
  5. Non-answer aside, you think he'll come back anytime soon?
  6. You're right when saying that tweets helped escalate the Sammy/Andrade situation, but what ignited that fire was that interview Andrade gave (which might have been done without prior authorization, even). I get what you are saying, that wrestlers giving out on public forums is a bad look, but I don't think this means doom for JD Drake. He's a solid hand in the ring and has been featured rather constantly. Maybe he'll get signed, maybe not, but I doubt those tweets would matter much.
  7. Card seems OK, but not something you'd use for your first ever Canada show. Something's really off.
  8. Him praising Bam Bam vs Lawrence Taylor got a kick out of me. Bret, Owen and Yoko come across as great guys in this, specially in a professional sense.
  9. I dunno. This whole discussion about who gets to use what moves tends to get ridiculous. Like, I remember a wrestler (Brian Cage?) DM'ing Tazz about using the Tazzmission - which is an actual judo hold! It's not like Josh Briggs' presentation is exactly like JD Drake's, even if the move is similar. Like, CM Punk made it big lifting his entire moveset from NJPW and NOAH wrestlers. He was doing the KENTA combo and G2S, ffs. Early Bradshaw was essentially a shitty Stan Hansen. John Nord was Bruiser Brody without attitute problems. Abyss was a Kane/Manking fusion. Willie Mack was doing Stone Cold Steve Austin stuff on Lucha Underground. Complaining on Twitter about something so small seems counterproductive. Yeah, he took one spot and used it during his Cesaro moment. What about it? Is everything he does 100% original? Doesn't he draw inspiration from somewhere? Just tiresome.
  10. I dunno, Dexter Lumis is not *just* that Dexter. He has some of that Michael Myers vibe to him (plus he's named after Dr. Loomis) Wasn't Art Barr's The Juicer character basically a low-rent version of Beetlejuice? Pretty sure Kevin Nash wrestled as Oz in the US, too. And while slasher icons such as Leatherface, Jason and even Freddy Krueger had their own wrestling versions, nothing beats legally unsafe luchadores. There are just so many Ninja Turtles.
  11. I like how Miz/Lumis is essentially a cartoon. Him smashing the birthday boxes with a baseball bat after Dexter popper out from a hole in the table is essentially Bugs Bunny stuff.
  12. Hope they are not full time. I mean, I can stand The Good Brothers in small doses, when they are just being AJ's pals. I don't think there's much use for them outside of that role, and I don't think they'll be turning AJ heel so he can have the numbers game. Bloodline vs The OC part 2? California here we come
  13. X-Pac is the coolest DX member. How far we've come.
  14. NJPW World retweeting WWE. What is Hunter cooking?
  15. I hope Lasher starts taking german suplexes correctly
  16. Lashley v Lesnar LETS FUCKING GÓOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
  17. I hope they have a per appearance contract. Karl is holding the NJPW NEVER Belt, isn't he?
  18. Man, I really don't care about those two eggheads
  19. This sucks ass. Elektra is a far better fit. I don't want them backstage politics affecting those who I like!
  20. Mox is the heart and soul of AEW. More than Punk, more than Omega. He's the one who should be the Big Dog of All Elite Wrestling. Despite my gripes of him being flat-out lazy in his matches beforehand, he's clearly in a better space right now, and is having some of the best material of his career. He speaks, and I believe in him, which is the most precious skill a wrestler can have. Plus he's well liked AND is able to say things like they are without coming off as an asshole. He's the leader AEW has been needing for a while. I wonder, though, will Renee be a backstage interviewer? Will she work on the commentary table? I guess she could develop a nice dynamic with Schiavone.
  21. Top 10 all time, no questions about it.
  22. In my case it wasn't even a thing lol he was giving title reigns to Raquel Gonzales and Aliyah Like, his first week in charge he brought back Karrion Kross, I'm firmly in the hater camp On the other hand obliterating Vince's idea for LA Knight was GOOD SHIT. YEAH.
  23. i'll fucking hunt you down, triple h
  24. Yeah, but the issue is that even Undertaker at his most gimmicky had more presence, and when fan's expectations of him included the in-ring part, he improved. I'm fairly certain he was a way more well-rounded wrestler than Bray up until that last Lesnar feud (although that Graveyard Dogs tag match was cool). Bray's gimmicks always end up leading to bullshit. Exploding monitors, Star Wards projections during HiaC matches, Evil Alexa having dark goo all over her face... all that shit led to boos. Dude wasn't even good in NXT! Doesn't it have to do with the fact he got sick when they were going to do Sister Abraygail vs Pumpkin Demon Balor?
