Bruh Cody leading the ROH invasion would be such a hilarious move
-
Absolutely, but I do feel like what made him special in NXT, specially his faction, wasn't going to make the jump with him to the main roster. Could Cole thrive there with The UE by his side? I think so. But him alone... yeah. The writing was on the wall for him, and I guess he saw that. I don't think he'll ever go solo for the rest of his career, and that's not a knock on him. (This reminds me of someone mentioning Aja Kong's height on Twitter. The realization of how she's 1.65m despite looking bigger than everyone else was mind twisting. Perception truly is everything in wrestling)

Cole not making it in WWE's main roster was inevitable, IMO. I've used this example some times here, but when he appeared at the Rumble he looked tiny. Not just in terms of height, but he looked less built than Rey Mysterio. With NXT's smaller stage, you could cover that up more nicely, and the competition wasn't regularly towering over him. He had his team with guys with similar build, Ciampa and Gargano were around, Finn was around, Dunne was around. All of them were guys that were in the same range of height, weight and look. It wasn't jarring to see him dominate competition then. Hell, he even had some matches against the likes of Bryan Danielson and Seth Rollins. The former is a "small" dude, although more muscular, and the latter is lean. It all seemed fine. But once they started pairing him against Keith Lee and have Cole dominate him with a headlock, things started to be a bit ridiculous. How the fuck would that guy do that to someone like Sheamus? Or Drew? Or Roman? Or Orton? The main roster was just full of BIG MEATY MEN, and Cole's portrayal would have to be changed, specially when they seemed to just want him, and not the rest of Undisputed Era. He couldn't just zerg rush his way into things anymore. Last night's main event had six guys all with similar builds, with Silver being the smallest dude, yet not dwarfed by any of the other guys. Cole feels more "at home" in this kind of setting, not up against behemoths, leviathans and jormungandrs.

I mean, if we look at how organizations like FIFA are dealing with the whole Russia/Ukraine debacle, WWE just seems to have the finger on the pulse of petty, senseless sanctions.
-
Man this main event was pretty whatever, huh Hope they deliver at the ppv.
-
Goofball Cole showing his guns, confirming only dad bods should do it.
-
However, I do not like the Buckshot as a finisher. The Dead Eye is much better.
-
Hangman is great, bubbas.
-
He has. The material is better, too.
-
MJokerF gonna lose. No way he brutalizes Punk like that AND comes out on top.
-
You just know they are gonna turn MJF a face for real one of these days

The thing is that most of the women are actually good in the ring, or at least feel like they are improving - the role of an actual developmental league. Ivy Nyle herself is a diamond in the rough (hehe), who is very distinct in looks and in-ring style, while respectfully looking great. Lash Legend, Amari Miller, Cora Jade, Toxic Attraction as a whole, they all have more than just looks and I feel that's a great, great thing to have in your show. Will they be stars? Fuck if I know. Keith Lee seemed like a no-brainer much like Bron seems now, but bad luck and bad booking certainly proved us wrong.

Give me ROH vs AEW you cokehead motherfucker

Kane in tag teams was alright. I mean, he was wrestling alongside folks like X-Pac, RVD and Daniel Bryan, but he played his part. It is when he's left to his own devices that he's showing his ass, much like on social media.
-
LA Knight got the CWC sounding like a '99 RAW, bubba. Shit is insane. Hey it's a nice subversion of the bar brawling shit kicker character imo
-
I had some hope for Dominik but he is toast without his dad. Speaks with the eloquency of a low budget PS1 npc.
-
Jericho going over Kingston would be further proof that dude is a mole. Sucking the air just to make his abs visible, baby mama looking fool

I don't see much of a problem in those Combine events, at least with stuff like weightlifting or sprints and such. It's not an indicative of how good a wrestler is, but a good wrestler doing ridiculous shit like Bron bench pressing 455lbs, Bianca deadlifting 400lbs or Montez jumping to the goddamn roof is always going to rock. Hell, my first memory of Otis was him bench pressing 225lbs for over 40 reps. -

HE IS A GENETIC FREAK AND HE'S NOT NORMAL -
The question is: out of spite or out of pity?

I don't see him becoming the top guy either in AEW either, so while KO and Sami already have each other, Cesaro had Sheamus (who's frequently injured) and opted to go where his old indie buddies where. I think the money is good either way. Shame we never had a Cesaro/Brock match tho.

god damn i have no memory of this cesaro/nakamura tag cesaro is THE GOAT tag wrestler, bubbas. I even made a thread about that and it still holds up. I will sorely miss THE BAR. -
My guess is that TK just wanted to re-sign with Christian Cage and made a blunder.
-
Him doing the UFO to Fenix is gonna be some glorious shit, bubbas. He was one of WWE's finest TV workers (only Sheamus and Rey were besting him in that regard) and now he has plenty of new opponents. He 100% has a GOAT level TNT Title run in him.
