  1. This has been Bray Wyatt's best match ever. I'm not even joking.
  2. Bless John Cena. Making me care for a figurative and semi-literal Deadman.
  3. How crazy is it that WWE missed two big names (Joe and Ambrose - not sure if Jordan is making it to WM) and they are shrugging it off that well? Also, at a personal level, this HOF Class might be the best ever. Also: Sonya might be my 2nd favorite wrestler in the women's division right now, behind Naomi. She can be so, so good in a couple of years.
  4. They are developing the storylines heavily this week. We basically only had 3 segments tonight, and we are almost halfway through the show. It feels good
  5. Chickenshit Brock is much more entertaining than Broly Lesnar.
  6. What's this about AJ, brother? Any more info? Also, I would bet DB is teaming up with Shane against KO and Sami.
  7. What a segment. Roman is so over, fellas. Brock is booed. This is amazing.
  8. explain I don't know the context in which you were called a xenophobe, archaic or ultra nationalist, but I can't think of a single situation that the person on the receiving end of those names wasn't saying some problematic stuff.
  9. That doesn't bode well
  10. WON's HOF not featuring JYD while having Sting, based on their own criteria, is already a massive blow to it being "legit". Don't trust that shit.
  11. Hope this is just him working everyone, WSSing the host and saying he's got a lot left in the tank.
  12. Still had a pro wrestling career before an MMA career. Widely considered to be one of the best, if not the best, at his style (which having a sambo background surely helped). Not that Ronda can't become great at pro wrestling, but to say that she doesn't need training is nuts.
  13. Yes, Han being a one of a kind talent and being a pro wrestler before having an actual MMA career surely means Ronda should not be trained.

    NXT talk

Basically everything Gargona/Ciampa related is worth watching.
  15. I always thought that in-ring, they've been at least good for forever. Sure their gimmick could be a little bit grating after a while, but they've been mass producing classics for 5 years. The gimmick change in 2016 was one of the best I've EVER seen in wrestling. It's like Rocky Maivia turning into The Rock. They became the coolest guys ever almost literally overnight.
  16. So. Jon Bravo finally posted his video evidence. It's about as convincing as one would expect. My God. Not only he showed us NOTHING, he added this comment in his video, after the MASSIVE backlash he suffered: This man.... is a treasure. My God.
  17. Coach is actively bad. Besides the fact that he adds nothing to the table, Cole and Graves barely interact with him, unless he makes some ultra stupid mistake, like saying that Bo Dallas was Rhyno. RAW has been a DELIGHT to sit through and I'm watching the full version, and in no way it was a worse show than SmackDown in 2017. Just no way. Even taking in consideration the pre-Mania months they had of good television that year.
  18. Well, she did make the jump from someone who had actual zero wrestling training and was used only for eye candy to someone who crafted her skills and managed to become respected in the ring, and yeah, I would say she still is pretty good. If the theme is empowering women, Trish wouldn't be the worst namesake ever, although I am curious as to which people of her era were better than her. As for the renaming: color me surprised. I guess, like someone else mentioned, sponsors got notice of the buzz. I doubt they would backtrack on it based on people complaining on the internet alone, but it's something.
  19. Bucks ahead of Usos as best tag team is all one needs to see to know what the awards are all about currently.
  20. To think that Enzo being an actual piece of shit enhances Nia's story and possible growth as a character is mildly amusing.
  21. Are we forgetting that WWE will probably have around 200k people attending their shows at Wrestlemania weekend? Not many people are aware of the Moolah story, like it or not, and it won't gain traction. It did not gain traction when it was first released. It won't happen this time. Is that bad? Yeah, of course. But acting like WWE will backpedal on this is a little bit delusional.
  22. Before the match, Big E and Jimmy cut some fantastic promos, mentioning how they don't have their friends & family beside them due to the actions of the Bludgeon Brothers. This feels like a huge deal, and it actually would fit as the main event of a non-big four PPV. Before BB can hit the ring, Langston and Uso are quick to hit them as much as they can, and they actually get steel chairs to make things even, as the heels have actual mallets with them. And holy shit, they actually swing that shit! This feels like the best of blood feuds and I am loving everything. As for the match itself, while nothing really special, even though the flurry of offense the faces get and the cut offs were very well done, it didn't have enough time to develop into greatness - and truth be told, it wasn't the place for it. Nice and contained action used to enhance a VERY GOOD storyline. No reason for the eventual triple threat at Wrestlemania to not become a superior version to the already great DIY/Revival/AOP elimination tag match.
  23. Didn't he also appear when Braun flipped the semi truck?
  24. I would say that in this case using his name as an Actually Good award can be seen as some ironic delight. Like, I'm not sure he would stand for what the award has transformed to in recent years, but I don't think standing for what he believes is the best thing ever.
  25. Shane announces KO vs Sami at Wrestlemania!! And the crowd... goes mild.
