Well, I guess that's the benefit of low expectations....they had me hooked the whole way. Good stuff.

Holy Shit that poison 'rana from the top onto Hiromu. Started watching Sakura Genesis from the ladies match and it's been an excellent night's viewing. The three-way was inorganic as fuck but interesting, Shota/Zack was an excellent TV Title match, Aussie Open are one of the best teams in the world and Robbie Eagles/Hiromu was very good. Okada vs Meh still to come.

Took you a while to get there, but you got there. Hey! That's me! Shove your heart up your arse. I don't want your platitudinous, patronising "sympathy".

I've read the thread. No-one said that. I've read the tweet, too. No-one said that. It's not "how many seconds?" Auschwitz is distressing whether it's a second or an hour. It is synonymous with the very depths of human barbarousness. The mere mention or thought of death camps is distressing to many, many, many people. Unless you're called Ragemaster?

I fail to see the context of that, as you didn't elaborate what that has to do with the topic. You make it sound like they're short of a dollar and would appreciate the publicity. If there's one charity that's well-funded and will last forever, I think it's the Auschwitz Memorial. Context (there's that word again) is key. Using Auschwitz footage does not forward the Dominik story.

I found zero pictures that look like that. Auschwitz was a Polish concentration camp from the 1940s. It in no way resembles anything in the US penal system which purportedly housed Dominik. Lest we forget.

The October '73 Ring Wrestling tag-team rankings had "Al and Gene Anderson" at no.12. Is it possible that's a typo/mondegreen for "Ole and Gene" or is there a forgotten Anderson?

AEW TV 4/5 - 4/7 - Are you ready for yet another HUGE announcement?
Dav'oh replied to The Thread Killer's topic in AEW
The inmates built the asylum. Stands to reason they want to run it. It sometimes seems like the wrestlers think they are doing Tony a favour, letting him pay them, rather than the other way 'round. Either way, it's far more co-dependent and symbiotic than Vince's relationship with his own roster. -
I was underwhelmed when I saw Henare would be main-eventing the last Tamashii Melbourne show, but up close and personal on the night he really won me over. Definitely a Meat Slapper of the highest order. Just watched the Ultimate Triad match and was pleased for him (not-so-pleased for his or Shingo's brains from that headbutt exchange). Shingo vs Robbie Eagles headlines the next Tamashii Melbourne show in a fortnight.

April Fool's gag from Big Dave

I'm hearing the silence that follows the pops. It's heating up some now, but that's how the crowd's been all night.
-
So they're just working this as an everyday tag match?
-
Local hospital better have plenty of skin grafts on hand for MeatSlap Fest tomorrow
-
This crowd pops for spots then goes back to sitting on their hands.

What does "cleared to wrestle" actually mean? When does modern-day Phil do something modern-day Phil doesn't want to do? Was he arrested for not being "cleared"? Is he blacklisted by the medical profession for not being "cleared"? Punk wasn't thrown in the trunk of an Oldsmobile and driven to the arena while Mumbles and The Lip held AJ at gunpoint. CM Punk "cleared" CM Punk

Good boy, Kevin. You can have some bacon.
-
Fuck this crowd "What?"-ing Jey Uso five seconds into his massively anticipated and highly emotional face-off with Sami.

A German Meaty Man, a Scottish Meaty Man and an Irish Meaty Man walk into a WrestleMania. The bartender says, "Sorry, I can't serve you unless you're bleeding from the nipples." So the three Meaty Men start Slapping Meat.

"The Ship of Theseus Charlotte is a thought experiment about whether an object which has had all of its original components replaced remains the same object."
-
I've been the biggest "Fuck Off Dominik" person here. I may have been wrong... Also, fuck KO. Just give Sami his fucking hug. Owens has absolutely no moral high ground here and is just being petulant.

Yes. But if you're a Kiwi who's good at something and you've spent three minutes in Australia, we claim you as ours. Any nationality, really, but we do it a lot to our New Zealand cousins. We even claim their racehorses and food.
-
I think we've claimed Toni Storm and Dakota Kai, too. God knows why we took Russell Crowe. Or Mel Gibson from the septics. British Olivia Newton-John was a good pickup.
