I have fallen down the Ernest Miller rabbit hole and can’t come back! Not sure if I want to! He was never more than a midcarder but I thought he was tremendous, especially since he started out as Eric Bishoff’s karate instructor in real life, if I am not mistaken.

I thought it was done well for a cinematic segment but I really don’t like cinematic segments. If they would have hit the same beats in a regular face to face, I would have liked it better but I am not their audience. For whatever reason, I totally missed the Cody/Roman Atlanta connection. That was really cool to highlight.

Sid is just awesome in both of these!

I was on the phone watching the end of Dynamite with no sound. Hangman is nuts. I was wondering why Swerve just didn’t call the police but I guess he will dish out his own brand of justice. Hangman trying to burn down the block! Ha! I also HATED that trios match main event! It’s everything I hate about pro wrestling. It was just a tumbling exhibition. Guys were making faces and The Elite were wearing stupid outfits. What’s crazy is they have an insanely talented roster. They just continue to make the choice to do dumb stuff. At least Swerve and Hangman will have some good old fashioned hate. I like the evil Magnum TA gimmick Hangman is pulling off.

In listening to the Voices of Wrestling podcast, they seemed to reference some PWO members who were upset that a writer called Sid the best bad wrestler. They meant it as a compliment but apparently it was taken as an insult.

RIP Sid. I have 2 distinct Sid memories: 1) Sid eliminating Hulk Hogan FAIRLY in the Royal Rumble 92 match only for Hogan to throw a tantrum and eliminate Sid. I wanted Sid to powerbomb Hogan into oblivion after that! 2) Sid in the WrestleWar Wargames match audibly calling a spot with Rick Steiner with the camera RIGHT IN HIS FACE. Sid: Is he coming? Rick: Yeah. Sid: Is he on the top rope? Rick: Yeah. Sid: Let’s go! LOL! Sid did have that aura though. No denying that!

I like the Bronson murdering and all, but dude needs some personality. Right now he’s King Kong Bundy 2.0 but he should be trying to get to Vader level. When Adam Pearce kept getting in his face, he should have talked back to him and THEN done splashes. He could have been telling Pearce that the damage done was on him. He needs to do more in the moment other than stare aimlessly.

Jack would try to sneak in reading a book during their matches and Sullivan would slap him to get him to focus but Cactus LIKED being slapped. RIP
