  1. I have fallen down the Ernest Miller rabbit hole and can’t come back! Not sure if I want to! He was never more than a midcarder but I thought he was tremendous, especially since he started out as Eric Bishoff’s karate instructor in real life, if I am not mistaken.
  2. I thought it was done well for a cinematic segment but I really don’t like cinematic segments. If they would have hit the same beats in a regular face to face, I would have liked it better but I am not their audience. For whatever reason, I totally missed the Cody/Roman Atlanta connection. That was really cool to highlight.
  3. Sid is just awesome in both of these!
  4. Link: https://www.pwtorch.com/site/2024/09/03/odyssey-jones-removed-from-wwes-roster-page-could-be-gone-from-wwe-as-situation-is-dealt-with-internally/ Does anyone know what’s going on here? https://x.com/SeanRossSapp/status/1831031957570077177 Looks like I found out why. I don’t know much about the guy. I heard he was doing stuff with The New Day and was in line for a push.
  5. I was on the phone watching the end of Dynamite with no sound. Hangman is nuts. I was wondering why Swerve just didn’t call the police but I guess he will dish out his own brand of justice. Hangman trying to burn down the block! Ha! I also HATED that trios match main event! It’s everything I hate about pro wrestling. It was just a tumbling exhibition. Guys were making faces and The Elite were wearing stupid outfits. What’s crazy is they have an insanely talented roster. They just continue to make the choice to do dumb stuff. At least Swerve and Hangman will have some good old fashioned hate. I like the evil Magnum TA gimmick Hangman is pulling off.
  6. In listening to the Voices of Wrestling podcast, they seemed to reference some PWO members who were upset that a writer called Sid the best bad wrestler. They meant it as a compliment but apparently it was taken as an insult.
  7. RIP Sid. I have 2 distinct Sid memories: 1) Sid eliminating Hulk Hogan FAIRLY in the Royal Rumble 92 match only for Hogan to throw a tantrum and eliminate Sid. I wanted Sid to powerbomb Hogan into oblivion after that! 2) Sid in the WrestleWar Wargames match audibly calling a spot with Rick Steiner with the camera RIGHT IN HIS FACE. Sid: Is he coming? Rick: Yeah. Sid: Is he on the top rope? Rick: Yeah. Sid: Let’s go! LOL! Sid did have that aura though. No denying that!
  8. The car put him over, brother!
  9. https://www.tmz.com/2024/08/20/hulk-hogan-body-slam-kamala-harris/ Hulk Hogan is at it again…..
  10. I like the Bronson murdering and all, but dude needs some personality. Right now he’s King Kong Bundy 2.0 but he should be trying to get to Vader level. When Adam Pearce kept getting in his face, he should have talked back to him and THEN done splashes. He could have been telling Pearce that the damage done was on him. He needs to do more in the moment other than stare aimlessly.
  11. Link: https://www.wwe.com/article/kevin-sullivan-passes-away One of my favorites and a guy ahead of his time. His Florida stuff is legendary, but I always LOVED his team with Cactus Jack in WCW. Jack would try to sneak in reading a book during their matches and Sullivan would slap him to get him to focus but Cactus LIKED being slapped. RIP
  12. I was just coming to post the same thing! Linda McMahon is also speaking tonight.
  13. I could see Shane and The Bucks linking up. I could see Jericho and Shane exchanging pleasantries. I could REALLY see Christian trying to be a “father” to Shane, given all of the drama with Vince. Those promos would be MONEY!
  14. Interesting survey: https://www.voicesofwrestling.com/2024/04/29/what-do-aew-fans-think-about-the-product-aew-fan-survey-results/
  15. …..if they can keep the main thing the MAIN THING! They have great performers. They need to tell great stories to go along with the work of the performers.
  16. Moxley wins the IWGP title. https://www.pwtorch.com/site/2024/04/12/iwgp-world-hvt-champion-tetsuya-naito-vs-jon-moxley-result-from-njpw-windy-city-riot-ppv/
  17. I could see Austin not showing up to save his appearance for a time where more of the focus would be on him and Rock. At Wrestlemania, he would have most definitely gotten a huge pop, but this was WWE Endgame with multiple cameos. He probably wants to build anticipation for his return. Just my opinion.
  18. I haven’t had a chance to watch yet but what title did The Rock have? Was it given a name?
  19. I’m from the Carolinas and The Andersons are STILL over! I certainly didn’t like or agree with a lot of things Ole did or said but I appreciated his work. I also got to see him live as well. I have an autographed copy of Ole’s book and I love it. You will either love it or hate it but I appreciated the fact that he put his thoughts on paper. He was definitely ornery while also holding firm on things he believed. He was also a believable promo to me and I appreciated his ring style and selling. I always thought HHH should have leaned into his inner Ole instead of trying to mimic Flair….. RIP Ole
  20. When it rains, it pours…… From the New York Times: William Albert “Billy Jack” Haynes Jr., who in the 1980s competed in the World Wrestling Federation, was arrested in the killing of his wife at a home in Portland, Ore., on Thursday after a standoff with police. The authorities publicly identified Mr. Haynes, 70, on Saturday, days after the police said he shot and killed his wife, Janette Becraft, 85, in the Lents neighborhood of southeast Portland.
  21. The main thing that I didn’t like was how Roman became an afterthought to The Rock. He’s the champion but is acting like a henchman for The Rock. They made this as compelling as they could, but this is still a self inflicted wound. I think they could have gotten here without having to shoehorn The Rock into THIS Wrestlemania!
  22. https://youtu.be/BIZHsGjNfNg?si=hswCexUUkr3cWTkB Here’s the segment.
