What a fucking depressing news. I was so exited when AEW and New Japan started working together. I couldn’t wait to see Okada, Naito and Ibushi on Dynamite. The promotion that kept me a wrestling fan along with Noah and ROH in the 2000/2010 working with wwe? I know this is not official but I really feel deflated. McMahon ruining wrestling for me again. This is such horseshit. At least I will save money by dropping new Japan world.

To me, if the surprise is a new signee, that person needs to win. If you come in at number 21 and get eliminated, you look bad. If it’s a one and done, then it’s not a problem. I do think that number 21 will be a one time appearance because I am sure, based on past battle royale that Jungle Boy is winning this year. He came close on two different battle royale so smart booking indicates he is not loosing a third one. Plus, it’s time to give him a huge win.

That’s all well and good, it’s alway cool to see new faces but they need to find something to do with some roster members already there. Judging by the graphic show on Elevation yesterday, there seems to be a mystery entrant in the casino battle royale. Last year it was Brian Cage so one would think that this year would be a new wrestle as well. Any guess/predictions/wish? I know it’s not happening but I would loose my mind if it was Nick Gage. Moxley/Kingston/Gage battling the Elite would get all of my money.

Jim Ross est passé date as we say!! I never understood the hype around JR anyway. He was great in the UWF and Crockett but I found his attitude era stuff to be overrated. The constant yelling was annoying AF. Tony at his best was way better that JR. Tony has the two best call of all time under his belt. Stick Tony/Wight/Callis on Dynamite and Excalibur/Taz on the new show and let JR go back to the wwe were he wants to be anyway.

I am really loving the Paul Wight’s sit down interviews as well.

I never heard of anyone having Guerrier as a last name either but I just checked and there is 366 person or families (website wasn’t clear) with that last name in Canada, some of which in Montréal. You learn something new every day.

It was honest on his personal life and I have no problem with that. This was the first time that I watched a wwe product since 2003. I am somewhat aware of what they do because of this place and WOR but I have not seen one show of them since I saw a god awful Triple H maint event and said that’s it, I am done. So this was the first time that I saw first end their WCW wasn’t successful/almost didn’t exist narrative and as a massive WCW fan, it made me furious....especially since some of my favorites wrestling memories involved Savage and Piper on Nitro.

According to the Macho Man doc, he went to WCW, did a bunch of drugs and dated Gorgeous George. He totally never turned their house show business around twice with two different Ric Flair feud. He never carried the first half of 1997 with the DDP feud and the period where he was God like over in the Wolfpack before getting injured never happened. Nope. Same with Piper, Hogan hit him on the hip with a chair and then he got messed up on drugs. He never popped a buyrate at Starrcade 96, the following Superbrawl, Halloween Havoc 97 and Spring Stampede 98. I am surprised that they didn’t try to claim that McMahon discovered Booker T watching a Global rerun on ESPN in 2001. Yeah, I figured these would be garbage when they didn’t touch the Austin domestic abuse stuff. I can’t judge the HBK one since there is no way in fucking hell that I am watching a doc on Shawn Michaels but he is on the payroll so it was surely a fluff piece as well. Every one acting like McMahon is this father figure instead of what he really is, a gigantic piece of shit did infuriated me. That was the first time that I ever saw The Miz in my life, ugh, he look like a bitch kissing the boss’s ass. I don’t know if there is any episode left but I am done. I will stick with Dark side of the ring.

Perfectly Straightedge mentioning Kenny Omega got me thinking as to why I hate his title reign so much. When he won the title, the announcers acted all disgusted like it was Bash at the beach 96. Callis/Omega stole the belt. Omega turned his back on AEW and all that. Good so far. He beat Moxley in the rematch with help from The Good Brothers. Sparklers aside, again good so far. But then...nothing. No one in AEW seems to want to take the title away from the Elite. No one mentions it. Shouldn’t someone got to bat for his home promotion? I don’t think that Kenny defended the belt once since the barbed wire match. Why isn’t anyone doing something about this??? His title reign should be one of two things. Either he beats everyone that Tony K puts in his way to get the belt back until either Hangman or Darby beats him or, he tries to avoid defending the title like the plague like he is 1997 Hollywood Hogan. If it’s the second option, at least address it on television!!! I hope that they right the course after DON because to me, this title reign is a failure. I like Kenny a lot but I am sure that I am not the only one that think that it was a mistake to take the belt off of Moxley for this..
