Nice use of the graphic. I haven't gotten around to watching Smoky Mountain but it strikes me as something I'd have enjoyed.

NWA Great American Bash 86 night 1 Preview Saturday July 3rd McNicholas Arena,Denver CO Also available on closed circuit television. WSW Television Championship Tournament Final. Jimmy Jack Funk vs "Black Bullet" Shaska Whatley w/Slick Jimmy Jack burst on the scene during the main event of WSW's second TV episode helping his "cousins" Terry & Dory Jr "win" the NWA World Tag Team Titles from Zaibatsu. While the NWA recognizes neither teams stint with the titles it was nevertheless a memorable debut. Whatley's own arrival was decidedly more modest, making his debut during WSW's first loop. This trend continues with the youngest Funk becoming a fixture of the main event/TV scene immediately while Whatley was initially regulated more towards the opening contest/lower midcard. But Whatley had a secret weapon, his smooth talking manager Slick who's dubious (if occasionally entertaining) tactics have been undeniably effective. Both men had a hard road to the finals with JJ having to beat "Taskmaster" Kevin Sullivan & Chicky Starr while Whatley had to endure Pvt Don Kernodle & "The Latin Heartthrob" Al Perez. This is the first time these two men have shared a ring in WSW but with a opportunity to go down in history as the first TV champion on the line we can expect them to hold nothing back. Can Jimmy Jack add another title to the Funk family legacy? Or does Slick have the right trick up his sleeve to secure the title for his "main man"? NWA World Jr Heavyweight Championship Bout "Mr Electricity" Steve Regal(c) vs "The Flamboyant" Eric Embry There's some history here. In November of last year these two men were fighting side-by-side in Continental Championship Wrestling ad part of the Platinum Club during which time Embry captured the U.S Jr Heavyweight title. After Embry lost that title courtesy of botched interference from Regal's partner Chick Donovan and his subsequent ejection from the group Regal & Embry began to represent the club in the Tag division. In the chaotic period which saw CCW rejoin the NWA the duo found themselves on separate paths. While Regal was eventually able to reenter the reorganized CCW,Embry debuted in WSW alongside Doug Somers as Radiance. There are many similarities between the two, both are preening pretty boys who are as likely to break the rules as not. Some experts are predicting the partnership with Somers could tip the balance in favor of the challenger as Regal hasn't made any alliances since rejoining CCW. Russian Chain match Kendall Windham vs "The Russian Hammer" Alexis Smirnoff w/"General" Skandar Akbar At Resurrection the event marking the return of wrestling to Amarillo Windham lost to Tim Brooks thanks to a distraction from Akbar. When Windham demanded a rematch Brooks & Akbar agreed but the match didn't occur thanks to a pre match attack by Akbar's newest client Smirnoff. Since then it more people have entered the fray with Akbar hiring Karachi Vice to Devastation Inc & Windham countering by creating a new version of the Wild Bunch with Dutch Mantell & The Irwins. Windham seemed to score a marquee victory by beating the Russian in a flag match at WSW'S first Memorial day special but Smirnoff dismissed it and challenged Windham to a Russian chain match. Can Windham move one step closer to his desired rematch with Brooks or will Devastation Inc's Soviet supersoldier bury the young Texan under the Hammer & Sickle once and for all? NWA World Women's Championship Bout Debbie Combs(c) vs Lisa Moretti The first womens match in the breif history of WSW comes courtesy of our sister promotion Wonder Women Wrestling. Moretti already enters the match as a duel champion holding both the WWW Fighting Spirit championship & the NWA Texas Women's Championship. While this titles aren't on the line it's worth noting as the most recent holder of this titles (they've been defended together since Medusa Miceli defeated Velvet McIntyre in a title vs title match in January) was in fact Debbie Combs herself. Combs vacated the duel straps on April 28th in order to focus on winning the World Title from Windi Richter which she did on the May supercard and retained in a rematch on the June supercard. Earlier that same night Moretti defeated five other women in a battle royal to earn this opportunity. Will the era of Combs continue or will Moretti become a triple champion? WSW Tag Team Championship Steel Cage Match. The Tribal Nation(c) vs The Moondogs w/"Taskmaster" Kevin Sullivan The Moondogs have been terrorizing WSW since arriving on the very first episode mercilessly beating opponents in glorified assaults that last far longer than the scheduled matches. This feud started properly when the Youngbloods defeated the Moondogs in the finals of a tournament to become WSW's first and so far only Tag Team Champions. Since then the they and their respective stable mates have collided in a series of increasingly violent brawls with each being more out of control than the last. To hopefully settle this rivalry in a way that doesn't destroy the surrounding building it has agreed the two teams will do battle on night 1 inside a 15 foot high steel cage! Can the champions survive or will the Moondogs remind everyone why it's usually considered a bad idea to enter a cage with an animal? One night round robin tournament to determine the undisputed NWA World Tag Team Champions Ted DiBiase & Steve Williams vs Zaibatsu (Kendo Nagasaki & Mr Pogo) w/Tojo Yamamoto vs The Funk Brothers (Terry & Dory Jr) At Resurrection DiBiase and Williams defeated Nagasaki & Pogo to retain the Tag Team Titles only to have them stolen by their bitter opponents and their Zaibatsu teammates Kim Duk & Jumbo Tsuruta. On the first episode of WSW TV Tojo brought out the entire group and insisted that his men were the rightful champions. Dory Funk Jr interrupted and challenged the group to act like the champions they claimed to be and defend "their" titles against himself & a partner of his choosing the following week. Zaibatsu accepted but regretted it as Dory's partner was revealed to be his brother Terry. Together they would defeat the Japanese duo and take possession of the title belts. Regardless however the NWA insisted that DiBiase & Williams were still the recognized champions, refusing to recognize either Zaibatsu or the Funk's claim to the gold. Even Dory inviting the DiBiase & Williams to Amarillo to discuss the matter didn't settle anything as not only did tempers flare between Terry and Williams but Zaibatsu attacked the whole lot. Finally the idea of a one night round robin tournament was agreed upon to leave no doubt on who deserves to be called champions. Each team will face each other and the team with the best score in the end leave with the titles. But perhaps the greatest question is,after wrestling twice in the same night will the winners be in any condition to survive the challengers awaiting on the remaining two nights? NWA World Heavyweight Championship Bout Magnum T.A(c) vs Jumbo Tsuruta w/Tojo Yamamoto Nothing to say here except that two of the best in the world will do battle over the richest prize in the industry. Can Magnum fend off the seemingly unstoppable WSW Heavyweight Champion or will Jumbo take the 10 pounds of gold back to Japan? And can either man survive the gauntlet that awaits them the next two nights? Tickets still available!

Hart over the Russian is a good opener. It seems Piper & Flair are putting their issues to the side. Steamboat,Youngblood & McDaniel vs Kabuki,Gino & Tully is a hell of a tournament final. That main event is money.

I'm ever slightly doubtful that the Rich cousins new attitude will withstand a title match. I could be wrong though. Luscious Lanny gets in a last bit of dick-ishnes ahead of the Bash. Nice Slater promo. He makes valid points his fans fans can repeat but is insulting enough he riles up those rooting for Olympia. Whoever walks out with the Jr Heavyweight strap on the 3rd has quite the challenger waiting for them on the 4th. Magnum T.A us prepared to run the gauntlet to retain HIS World Heavyweight Championship. Hahahahahaha Bennett gives that goof Davis a taste of what's waiting for him in Pensacola. I love the interactions between Solie & RPG. Which leads to a cladsic wild CCW 6 man main event. If that didn't move those remaining tickets i don't know what would have. Some promising dark matches compliment another great episode from the heart of Dixie.

Steve O picks up momentum ahead of his shot at the TV Title. Whether it's Mid-Atlantic or Georgia the Assassins cannot catch a break. Looking forward to the National Title match though. Damn Ole bringing in the Monsters of Mayham! Georgia ain't messing around. The Hacksaws vs Sullivan & Borne, Texas Tornado on the 4th? Things are going to get nuts! Masked Superstar & Paul Orndorf are a formidable duo to have at the top of the card. And if you don't believe me ask Tommy Rich. I don't know if you have plans for Georgia after this feud with Ole but I'm gonna enjoy while it lasts.
-
Mid-Atlantic vs Georgia 3 on 3 on the 4th! Hell yeah!! Hart & Valentine jostling for position in the TV Title picture is a great mid-card program. Somehow I had a feeling that Race was behind the masked man. Johnson is quietly making a case for a title shot himself with his TV win streak. Bullrope/Russian chain combo? Color me intrigued. Piper & Flair put their issues to the side long enough to overcome the Super D's. Now the question is can Piper overcome Race. I can't wait to find out!

Nice idea with recap of all the angles heading into the big show....if you see something like this in the GAB thread, I'm not stealing it;)
-
A couple of nice face wins to get the crowd warmed up (and shill some merch) good stuff. The Monsters capture tag gold but one wonders how long this alliance can last with Medusa's ever-growing ego. Purdue taps into something and hangs Mitchell! It's always the sweet ones. Moretti outlasts 5 top contenders to earn herself a chance to become triple champion! Combs wins a squeaker to come out with her world title reign intact. Your supercards never fail to entertain. Great job!

Western States Wrestling Episode 9 JUNE 26 1986 From the KFDA-TV Studio in Amarillo Texas Airing live at 9:35am on WTBS Channel 17 A montage of classic and recent Western States action set to "Into the fire" by Dokken opens the show ending on a shot of WSW Heavyweight Champion Jumbo Tsuruta. We cut to Steve Stack standing in front of a joint WSW and NWA banner. Stack: Good morning ladies and gentlemen and welcome to another exciting episode of Western States Wrestling sanctioned by the National Wrestling Alliance, the premier governing body of professional wrestling the world over We are excactly one week away from the start of the 3 day wrestling extravaganza, the Great American Bash, which as reported by Pro Wrestling Illustrated earlier this week will have all 3 nights airing live on close circuit television. And that's not all, as also reported we have come to a agreement with our sister promotion Wonder Women Wrestling to have the NWA World Women's Championship defended on night 1 on July 3rd. I can now confirm that the match shall pit defending champion Debbie Combs against the challenger Lisa Moretti. Fans of WWW will know Mrs Moretti is a double champion holding both the WWW Fighting Spirit championship as well as the NWA Texas Women's Championship however those title's will not be defended, Nevertheless it should be an amazing contest. Speaking of amazing contests we have a entire episode full of them featuring wrestlers who will be competing on night 1 of the Great American Bash which will of course iminate from the McNicholas Sports Arena in Denver Colorado. And in our main event "The Latin Heartthrob" Al Perez will go one-on-one with "Black Bullet" Shaska Whatley who will of course have Slick in his corner, the winner of that match shall face Jimmy Jack Funk on July 3rd to determine our first Television Champion. On now ladies and gentlemen let's send down to the ring for our first match. Match 1 Kendall Windham defeats "Bruiser" Byron Eustis with a bulldog. post match promo: Windham vows to beat Smirnoff back back to his "cold lifeless motherland" and prove that "Siberian steel ain't near as hard as a Texas Lariat!" Commercial break-Steve Stack runs down the Western States live events for this coming week. In honor of shedule changes to be discussed later WSW will be touring cities outside their by-now established loop. The tour will also be shortened to 4 events. Match 2 "The Flamboyant" Eric Embry defeats Steve Law with a neckbreaker. "Pretty Boy" Doug Somers joined the broadcast booth and spent the whole match running down the "Glamorless Boys" and stating his absolute certainty that his partner would "rescue the lovely prize of the World Jr Heavyweight Championship from the indignity of being carried by Mr Elasticity Steve not so Regal" Match 3 The Moondogs destroyed Rick Walmsey & Ramsey Samuelson in a little over a minute finishing the match with the backbreaker/elbow drop combination on Samuelson. As has become pattern however the beating lasts far longer than the actual match with Abdullah the Butcher joining in. All the while Sullivan is on the mic insisting this is somehow the Tribal Nation's fault and swearing "By all the fires in the black pit the WSW Tag Team Titles will hang on the mantle of Abudadeen" When the massacre in the ring ends it does so horrifically, with the Moondogs repeating their finisher on Walmsey but this time Rex forgoes his elbow and uses one of their bones! This brings out commissioner Dusek who threatens to fire the entire Dungeon of Doom on the spot if they don't leave NOW!!!! Sullivan leads his men away cackling the whole time. Stack: My god ladies and gentlemen we'll go to break and get these men some medical attention. Commercial break-Advertisement for the Great American Bash airing live on close circuit television! Tickets still available! Match 4 Dory Funk Jr defeats Hayden Virgo with the Texas Cloverleaf. During the match Stack informed the audience that WSW was cutting its weekly tour short as to ensure the wrestlers were in shape for night 1 of the GAB. WSW would be skipping the first two days of July and resuming it's usual schedule July 10 with fittingly its 10th episode! Before the main event Steve Stack informs the audience that at the Sports Arena show later today the event will start with a 21 man battle royal with the winner earning a shot at the WSW Heavyweight Championship. The order of elimination will determine the rest of the card meaning the only way to know who faces whom is to buy a ticket and see for yourself! Bell time 3pm tickets still available! Main event "Black Bullet" Shaska Whatley w/Slick defeats "The Latin Heartthrob" Al Perez. Towards the end Slick got on the apron and seemed to offer Perez a bottle wrapped in a brown paper bag. Perez tried to take a swing at Slick who jumped to the floor in time to avoid the blow. It was then Perez who avoided a charging Whatley and managed to get behind him for a O'Connor roll which Whatley kicked out of. While that was happening Slick took a big swig of whatever was in that bottle and when Whatley's kickout launched Perez into the ropes spit it into the face of "The Latin Heartthrob" when the referee wasn't looking! Whatley grabbed Perez into a schoolboy as he staggered backwards and a handful of tights later the "Black Bullet" was headed to GAB.

A couple of nice squash/promo combos get us going. Poor boys! LoL! Things heat up as the Billy Jacks don't want to wait till WrestleRock. One has got to go! Moretti is his usual pleasant self. I think we just may see a new TV champ. Cabin Fever are ready to tame the Beasts of Burden and become the new National Tag Champs. Rock n Roll prove they can not just outwrestle the Champs but outcheat them too. Love it! If I were Canek I might consider coming down with a cold come the 3rd. Can the Highwaymen just kill Vinnie already? Speaking of murder,R.I.P Carl Kellerman. Wahoo vows to outwrestle Bock? Ok let's see how it goes. Lawler chimes in from home but it doesn't faze the Superstar. Spoiler just knocked the Baron too the other end of the state! Sir Tony "Simply the best" St Clair reclaims the edge over Steamboat in violent fashion! Can Steamboat recover? I'll certainly be tuning in to find out.

WWW is really ahead of the pack with their merch game. McIntyre fends off a improved Luna Vachon and throws her hat into the world title picture. Talk about multi-tasking! Miceli (& Madd Maxine) show the rest of the Monsters how it's done by winning a tag title shot. Moretti puts down a feisty Peterson too remain double champ. I don't see her losing those for a while. Another fun episode.

First Portland. The Masked Avenger claims his first win over a proper member of the PCW roster. The rookies of the Brigade score a impressive win over the cagey Los Guerreros. The Polish Prince leads the Dog Pound to victory the British trio but this clearly isn't over. Simmons & Hansen won't be controlled! Owen knabs his first singles win since the seeming end of his team with Pillman. Bam Bam is back! Black Gold gives their all but aren't ready to claim the Golden State tag titles...yet. Rose fends off the challenge of the younger Steamboat but Hacksaw lies in wait. Onwards to Eugene. The American Ninja scores perhaps his most impressive victory yet. Orton claims first w in his burgeoning feud with Pillman. Gonna enjoy following this one. The Odd Couple score a huge win as double j pins the Jr champ! Cameron well and truly burns a bridge by piledriving Smiley on the floor! Windham puts down the Outlaw in a hoss fest. The Brigade is really pressing their recent advantage. Back to back defenses for the Hart Foundation as they put down Badd Company. Owen takes Mr Hollywood to the limit. I smell a rematch. PCW with 2 more slamming nights of wrestling.
-
Hey Jeff5819. Looking forward to Smoky mountain. With the roster you've got things could get crazy.
-
Paul Orndorf is great fit for TV champion. Ole & MS throw down the gauntlet for Jake Roberts and everyone else. Gonna be watching the Hacksaws. The Monsters of Mayhem! Love it! Especially paired with Jimmy Hart. Sullivan and Borne is the kinda pairing that'll have folks looking over their shoulders. MS vs Wildfire? Title vs Title? In a cage? At the Omni?! Yeeeeessssss!!!!!! Interesting move having the Freebirds be faces in Mid-Atlantic but heels in their native Georgia. I agree with Ed, this angle has marquee potential.
-
I like how everyone is talking about the 6 man titles. Makes them feel important. Roberts cuts solid promo but it bites him as Anderson,Superstar & a 3rd man take him out! What an arrival for the cowboy! He,JJ,Slater & the Super D's are gonna Wreck havoc!
-
The Masked Avenger huh? Well let's see what he can do. Damn, the Brigade couldn't buy a win over the Crazy Gang at first now they're going 2-0 in the same night including a 3 on 2 (unofficial) handicap match. The Odd couple walk alone together towards another win. Looking forward to watching this play out. If Pillman's looking to prove himself as a single wrestler Orton is a good measuring stick. Corny humbly states the facts of how he and his men are the greatest in the world. This is gonna be fun. Also interesting that he claims to know the Avenger's identity. Hacksaw is back! The British contingent gain a All-American ally in their war with the expanded Playboy Club. PCW must be bringing ESPN some serious ratings.
-
The Golden Boys may yet become the true golden boys of the AWA if they can get past the Highwaymen. Oh and can't forget about the Vin Man. Yeah! The AWA is headed for a real international incident when El Canek collides with Giant Haystacks. Idol's making quite the case for his becoming National champion. Crusher & Duker go to a double c.o ahead of the big tag at WrestleRock. Looking forward to this one. Southern Justice vs The Fabulous Ones at BattenRock! Colon & Kamala can't wait for their match at WrestleRock and neither can I! The Superstar is ready to take down the king...if he even shows. Casey is gonna tear into Moretti come WrestleRock i just hope he doesn't get too carried away. Ox & crew do what they do best...smash goobers & scare the crap outta people. Go Rock n Roll!...that's it that's the post. Rugged Ron & the Maniac predictably ends with all their buddies getting involved. There may be too much rage for the cage to contain. Bruise Brothers pawn the Billionaire Tag Team Titles! LOL. Wahoo & Steamboat vs Bock & St Clair. Yeeeesss! The only problem is we didn't get winners. I'll never understand how you can write this 15 match supercards. Not gonna lie, kinda nervous my day booking GAB is competing against WrestleRock.
-
Olympia chokes out Rotton Ron & makes a believable argument for his behavior. I like the touch of the divided crowd. I'm kinda conflicted. I know Cooley is the face here but Budro is one of my favorite characters in the game. Looking forward to Bennett tearing Davis to pieces. Masked Superstar is in top form heading into GAB. Frankly from the little I've seen of him I'm not sure Kh is smart enough to be a mercenary. Still scared for Daniels though. And now we all have the image of Lanny Poffo in a moo moo in our heads. Thanks for that. It wouldn't be CCW if the show didn't end on a crazy brawl....and i wouldn't have it any other way.

As he was escorted out by security Slick took advantage of the distraction to pass Vines a slap jack which he cracked War Cloud with for the pin. Partners handcuffed to ringpost "The Flamboyant" Eric Embry defeats Steve Doll. Sommers untied the middle turnbuckle pad in the corner was cuffed too allowing Embry to ram Doll into it back first during a ddt attempt followed by a northern lights suplex. Radiance seemed to want to cut more of Doll's hair but Simpson grabbed a ringside chair and cleared the ring before anything could happen. "Wild" Bill Irwin & "Killer" Tim Brooks w/"General" Skandar Akbar brawled to a double c.o. Winner challenges Magnum T.A for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship at the Great American Bash. Jumbo Tsuruta(c) defeats "The Pride of Montague County" Johnny Mantell with a Tiger suplex from the second rope after a arsenal emptying 45 minute war.
-
Masked Superstar is a great challenger for the NWA World championship. Kinda low for Tommy Gilbert to rat Tommy Rich out to his mama. Still Peggy's baby boy & cousin Johnny are making good on it. The Stud Stable is going for the gold! They're easily one of my favorite heel teams in the game. Honestly since Mr Olympia has already been unmasked i don't really care about that part but him & Slater beating the tar out of each other over the Contental Heavyweight Championship has me VERY interested. Budro vs Wildcat! Winner is Southeastern champion loser is out of a job! Only in a southern wrasslin company will you see 2 pretty boys fighting to put the other in a dress! I don't know much about Danny Davis but I know he's gonna die at the Bash....and I'm cool with that. Killer Khan with Shiek Adnan Al Kassie! I'm very glad I'm not Terry Daniels. CCW is more than holding up it's end on the Great American Bash!

Western States Wrestling Episode 8 June 19 1986 From the KFDA-TV Studio in Amarillo Texas Airing live on WTBS Channel 17 at 9:35am A montage of classic and recent Western States action set to "Into the fire" by Dokken opens the show ending on a shot of WSW Heavyweight Champion Jumbo Tsuruta. We cut to Steve Stack standing in front of a joint WSW and NWA banner. Stack: Good morning and a happy Juneteenth to you ladies and gentlemen. We're one week from the earthshaking announcement from our commissioner Frank Duesk that despite our original plans Western States Wrestling has been invited to join our sister promotions in the National Wrestling Alliance to present the Great American Bash! WSW will present night 1 from the McNicholas Sports Arena, home of the Denver Nuggets. All 3 NWA World titles will be decided as the winner of the WSW Heavyweight Championship match between Jumbo Tsuruta and Johnny Mantell at the Sports Arena later today shall go on to challenge Magnum T.A. The months long controversy surrounding the NWA World Tag Team Titles will finally be settled in a one night round robin tournament between all relevant parties, Zaibatsu,The Funk brothers and the recognized champions Ted DiBiase & Steve Williams. And later in this broadcast we reveal who will challenge "Mr Electricity" Steve Regal for the NWA World Jr Heavyweight Championship. And that's not all as the two men battling for the WSW Heavyweight Championship have both been granted a tune up match meaning not only shall "the Pride of Montague County" Johnny Mantell be in action but for the first time ever the viewers at home shall witness the WSW Heavyweight Champion Jumbo Tsuruta in action! If you've never seen him compete your in for a real treat. All that plus our first semifinal match in the tournament to crown our first Television Champion as Chicky Starr fresh off a potentially career making victory over Dory Funk Jr in the first ever Double Victory match goes one-on-one with another member of the Funk family, Jimmy Jack Funk in our television main event. Now let's get this show started properly with our first match of the day. This ensites a big pop from the crowd which grows larger as "Rawhide" by Frankie Laine comes over the pa system. Match 1 "Dirty" Dutch Mantell defeats Kevin Tristan Marquez with the Tennessee Chainsaw (Scoop Slam Piledriver) Dutch heads to the interview area where the rest of the Wild Bunch is waiting. Stack: Impressive victory for Dutch Mantell. Gentlemen the world wants to know what caused you three to agree to come here and join young Kendall Windham in his battle against Devastation Inc? Bill: Well Steve Stack to answer that requires something of a history lesson. See last "Wild" Bill Irwin was in Texas it was in the original Wild Bunch alongside my friends Black Bart & Ron Bass. And the reason we came together was to do battle against the so-called Killers gang led by none other than one "Killer" Tim Brooks. *Boos* Yeah folks he was a rat back then too. First he thought he was the devil and hired those goons Sword & Vines, Yeah boys i know your back there come out and say something. But when they failed to get the job done he started shaking up with "Eeny Meny" Mike Miller & that bloated dandy Adrian Adonis pretending they was Hell's Angels. Well we whooped those jokers all over the Will Rodgers Complex and even the world famous Sportatorium and i thought i'd seen the last of Brooks. But then I hear about Western States Wrestling so I tune in and what do I see? Tim Brooks up to his old tricks! First he & that towelheaded twit Akbar cheat Kendall out of a win at Resurrection that's one thing but when Kendall does what any real man would do and square up and ask for a rematch Brooks goes and hides behind a Goddang commie! And then we he finds a friend to even the odds he gets cute and brings in the sing-sing- sing along brothers. All this had me madder than a rattlesnake with a toothache so when I got a phonecard from Kendall here didn't even have to think about it all i needed was a minute to explain to Hog here and ask him if he wanted in and just like always he said he had my back and here we are! *Big pop* Stack: Makes sense so far but Dutch where do you come in? Dutch: Let me tell y'all a story. Picture it, 19 year old Dutch Mantell out in Oil Tough Texas trying to figure out how to make his dream of becoming a professional wrestler come true then out of the blue comes the thing that will change his life, A letter from the president of the United States calling him to serve his country in place he ain't never heard of called Vietnam. So I go there as part of the 25th Infantry division and my new friends and I get to spend our days dodging potshots from a bunch of spineless godless commie bastards just like you Smirnoff! That's why when I ran into the Irwins out in Alabama and they told me about the call they just got from Kendall here u only had one question for'em, Room for one more? And that's why before Kendall can finish ya off at night 1 of the Great American Bash Smirnoff today at the Sports Arena I'm taking a piece of your ass for myself! The Wild Bunch leave the interview area to a massive round of applause. Stack: A fired up Wild Bunch ready to bring the fight to Devastation Inc. We'll be back with more Western States action after this commercial break. Commercial break-Steve Stack runs down the Western States live events for this coming week. Match 2 "Pretty Boy" Doug Somers defeats Horsetrigger Nicholas with a Brainbuster. Embry joined commentary talking about how the Glamor Boys are just jealous saying "comparing their looks to ours is like comparing your kids drawing to the Aurora Boialis. It's just not fair to them" he also said it was just a matter of time before they "rescued" the Tag Titles from the "filthy Indians and slobbering mongrols" fighting over them just as he would rescue the World Jr Heavyweight Championship from "Mr Elasticity" at night 1 of the Bash. Match 3 "The Pride of Montague County" Johnny Mantell defeats Hachi Amano with the floatover Russian leg sweep. Commercial break-Advertisement for the Great American Bash. Match 4 WSW Heavyweight Champion Jumbo Tsuruta w/Tojo Yamamoto defeats Nathan Warner. At the bell Jumbo sprints across the ring and damn near decapitated Warner with a Lariat then deadlifted him for a (possibly unnecessary) Tiger suplex for the win. As their leaving Tojo stops by the interview area and snatches the mic. Tojo: You see that Steve Stack? You see that Mantell-san? You see that Magnum T.A? That is the fate of all mentally retarded Americans who think they can stop Zaibatsu! At your Bash all the world titles will be ours then Zaibatsu will rule the NWA in the name of the Japanese empire. BANZAI! After reclaiming his mic Steve Stack runs down the card for the Sports Arena later today.
