  1. Fucking sick Rock entrance
  2. No. First time. He teased it a handful of times, and it has been in the video games for years, but that was the first time he's actually hit in in WWE.
  3. Maybe KO can blast Logan Paul with a package piledriver tomorrow
  4. There's also giant space heaters above the ring in the lighting grid, and I'm pretty sure in most years they have some under the ring with hidden tubes to pump heat into the ring, too. But imagine getting chopped by Gunther in 45 degree weather.
  5. These weak fucks, I went all fall and winter without heat so my house has been 45-50 degrees inside for 5 months. I know they got space heaters all around like any outdoor stadium show in the North East. It's currently 47 in my house, it is fine, wear some thick socks.
  6. Show has been pretty mid, I think the cold is fucking with talent and fans alike.
  7. It's fascinating how every person talking in all these segments are just "god it is so much better without Vince" without actually naming Vince, which both seems genuine but also like a peak HHH ego trip at the same time.
  8. I don't think it's that weird. There have been AEW talent at every HOF since AEW started, usually WWE makes sure to not get them on camera.
  9. It is funny how many WWE people doing media week for the biggest WM of all time keep talking about AEW
  10. The difference here is Austin never wore out his welcome and kept his aura, and Rock has been a huge star outside of wrestling longer than he was in wrestling and is absolutely in a bag he's never been close to in any of his post 2004 appearances. I think Hogan/Savage interaction at WM 20 would have had a huge reaction and been an all timer moment even after the horrible final run for Macho, and Hogan nostalgia run having peaked by then. Especially in a tag match that no doubt will have lots of fuckery, the glass shattering after a bunch of interference and a ref bump and Rock doing the wide eye stare and tearing all muscles doing a classic stunner sell would be an awesome moment, c'mon man.
  11. It's wild there needed to be a promo like that, but at least it wasn't the TNA special of a former WWE guy shitting on WWE and their booking. It's a literal WWE hall of famer who basically was an anchor main event for 5 or 6 years, who has consistently said nothing but good things about WWE and his WWE career. The negativity about AEW has been baffling to me the whole time. It's a hardcore promotion for hardcore fans that actually pays well and puts on consistently great shows and matches and promos for years now. The same weirdo AEW haters are also hyped for Cody and Jade in WWE so the whole thing is so dumb. It isn't like the late stage WCW or the worst eras of dogshit TNA programming. Guys like Cornette and Bischoff are making their current living shitting on AEW because it gets the views and clicks, because their statements are obviously dumb trollbait. A lot of AEW's crowd size problem is ticket price related, imo. AEW running smaller venues than WWE but ticket prices for most seats being like double the price especially when WWE is so hot is wild.
  12. Dasha is the only real weird one of the bunch. Everyone else is almost exclusively online only talent, a number of which haven't been used in months on top of that.
  13. Something lol that Andrade tried to quit and/or get fired to head back to WWE and he's already pre-WM Smackdown battle royale like he never left.
  14. Whole thing seems needlessly petty, but keep in mind Punk spent a decade talking that same shit about WWE before re-securing the bag, and now his whole AEW run feels like he was just trying to get big money to get back into ring shape (which lol, that lasted so long) to get a bigger WWE deal (which lol, also lasted so long). Punk is a multi multi millionaire who lives in the same building as fucking Oprah, the idea of him talking shit about AEW crowd sizes and guaranteed contracts ruining the biz is even pre Kevin Nash shoots type bullshit. Punk never would have signed with AEW without a guaranteed contract, never would have gone back to WWE without the same thing. Dude is probably making more than 90% of the roster to be injured and talk shit and even if healthy, would be doing minimal dates. Every line of the interview makes him seem like more of an asshole than long term indie fans know him to be, but it is all completely hollow because he said the same shit about WWE for years and literally sat in the ring crying when he joined AEW because he left pro wrestling when he signed with WWE, and was finally back. Dude is a total fraud when it comes to anything but getting that paper.
  15. Bruv vs Shibata ruled. TK gonna wild out and do Shibata/Okada rematch on a random Wednesday or Saturday and it will also rule. Side note, Matt Sydal replacing Yuter for the CMLL match is hella random. Should be Shibata replacing Yuta altogether in BCC.
  16. They should be default on every forum and platform on the internet :pacspit:
  17. Somewhat :beli: that Rock is calling himself The Final Boss when I'm quite sure that's what Meiko Satamura was called her entire NXT/UK run.
  18. It's not that surprising since black and gold era NXT was based on a series of big face arcs carrying everything for years. What is surprising that HHH is the one behind that, considering how pretty much his whole main event run was just dominating heel killing every face for years and years.
  19. who I know I've mentioned it before, but it is pretty interesting/funny that the only pillar whose absence is ever felt is Darby. And currently all 4 aren't on TV. The other 3 make zero impact when missing no matter how hard they're pushed and featured.
  20. Really any of the territories outside of WWF trying to go national kind of never made sense to me. WWF had NYC, Philly, Boston, with a home base of the biggest media city in country (world, really) with probably the most famous arena in the country as their home arena for decades. All the other territories were much more specific to their areas that weren't as big media hubs, and were also overlapping with other promotions in a way that WWF didn't have to deal with. A Mid South or WCCW trying to go national without first absorbing or buying out all the other territories along its edges could never work in a way that it could for the WWF.
  21. Eddie wasn't done wrong and the match ruled, buncha babies. So like....was the spike thing supposed to hit the bucklepad as a threat or was it supposed to have deeply punctured his entire pelvic region, because the later seems like it should have nearly killed him. It was their best match they've had against each other in WWE or AEW, with a lot of really brutal and interesting spots, but I hope they've gotten this out of their system and the two never interact again in AEW.
  22. Heel Okada in an environment where he doesn't need to do 25-30 minutes of work that goes nowhere for EPICS rules.
  23. Really hope Shibata low key and eventually fully replaces Yuter in the BCC. Any combo tag of Shibata/Bryan/Claudio/Mox any given week, tag or trios, sound delightful.
  24. Final realization that AEW is seeing the cards for various Saturday Nights/Thunders in 1996-1999 and being like holy shit that has to rule but instead of 3-4 minute tv matches, they're 10-20 PPV style matches. But every week.
  25. Does TK have the balls to book Okada vs Shibata rematch in 2024
