Weird to make night two Uncensored 2025 with all but one match a gimmick match when there weren't any gimmick matches on night one. Also weird that Becky/Lyra for the IC was longer than the WWE and World title matches combined. They really made sure to make people know night 2 was the real show, including HHH and Steph having to be all up in the videos.

It's so fucking crazy how the only thing they seem to give a shit about is social media stars and adverts. If you aren't a regular watcher, you have no idea what any of the storylines are because they are paywalled on their main US platform, the announcers then do not follow up on details during entrances or the match because they're doing ad reads. They couldn't give me 25 seconds to tell me why the fuck Jellyroll and Logan Paul are wrestling at Summerslam, but did have time to give the rundown on viewership numbers for Jellyroll's wife's podcast and its rankings in iTunes.

I lol at how The Outrunners are very clear comedy gimmick team, but then you put them with actual good teams like FTR/Bucks and all their comedy shit works in a real way of great matches that can do big 80s spots but also PWG spots and it all works. While dressed as Newports. Lmao.

Seems like we've come to a tacit agreement that this is the fuck Terry thread, the other one is the let's talk about Hulk thread.

Why did the lighter weights die off in America?

Post WW1/2 nutrition might actually be a legitimate factor in this -
Hogan's legacy in the WWE version of wrestling history doesn't even make much sense. How could he be the one to take wrestling out of the smokey bingo halls while they also talk about Bruno selling out MSG for a decade, and the McMahon family promoting at MSG since the 1950s?

Totally agree, his work as an entertainer can be re-assessed later, as with all entertainers that are sacks of shit. What he's being remembered for right now is for the important thing: how he was as a human. And it wasn't good, brother. There's a reason why none of the tweets from people in the industry mention anything other than how big he was in the industry and entertaining to fans.
-
Nah the pissing is a reflection of who he was as a person. No one is even talking about his in ring stuff anywhere. He lived a life to get these kinds of reactions in death.
-
Fuck 'im. It's quite telling that absolutely no one that grew up fans that got into the business has anything even half decent to say about him. Most of the internet is actively celebrating him being dead. Dude dug his grave and has to lay in it, brother.

That's fine for like a mid card comedy guy. It's wild to do it to a guy who has been what appears to be the most heavily pushed guy in NXT for the past year and a half and is also the champ of your partner promotion.

I don't know what the set up to a Taker/Trick confrontation was, but boy it made TNA, NXT, and Trick look like clowns. From a sly dig on difference from TNA and NXT champ to repeatedly sonning Trick on the mic to then physically putting him down with zero chance of any kind of physical confrontation otherwise to get any heat back. What a weird choice.

It's okay, he can take another one.

I don't recall this at all.

All In should have been the complete end of Deathriders stuff, or at least take a full month or two off. Not into keeping it going immediately after. Let Mox finally take that vacation he's been talking about since 2022. Neither Hanger or Mox should be in the ring the next show after that match. Some of the stuff teased going forward is interesting, though: Bucks in the Don Callis Family, Swerve vs Okada

Evolution was def the best WWE PPV of the year by far. They might have to do these quarterly just to bring up the PPV quality for the rest of the year. Or they might go another 7 years for showing up the men so much, who knows. HHH did start the post show with again repeating he didn't think there was a need to do another show because the women regularly headline shows. Which is a fucking crazy thing to say after how hot and good the show was. "Do we really need to do another thing like this that people asked for for 7 years and had a crazy hot crowd and best show of the year? Idk, guys. I mean the first one was also probably the best show of the year and had a crazy hot crowd. Idk tho."

All timer good vibes PPV. Can't even think of one that felt the same. AEW is delightful and thank goodness it exists.

TK, I know you lurk here you fuck. Get the rights to My Sacrifice and air a Hanger Desire vid on the go home Dynamite.

WWE would absolutely love to have her pop up in the crowd in NXT unnamed, then rename her and do nothing with her for months just to do it because they seem to think it is somehow really sticking it to AEW or something. Tony fumbled chants looking real funny in the light when Starks has been in NXT feuding with fellow AEW guy Page for 3 months and any and all hype over him has completely evaporated.

I could have sworn there was a Britt Baker come back promo or vignette not long ago and nothing came from it.

A year or two from now Jungle Jack's contract is going to expire, WWE is going to hire him, and HHH is going to force a Punk/Jack storyline if Punk hasn't been injured and gone by them.
-
Fun as hell show. Hope it is a yearly event.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4

WWE should have had Bruno in a match, be it singles or tag or battle royale, once Bruno/WWE reunion happened, and at the time Bruno was doing old man body building shit and somehow shredded at like 75. -
What kind of fucking psycho would come back after watching a Corgan NWA show
-
Why the fuck would Roku be interested in uploading any Corgan NWA either tho
