  1. They’d have Canada by the balls.
  2. Danhausen is a potential Pee Wee Herman, Max Headroon, or Ernest. A guy that owns his own character, and ends up getting over in a way that he can become a cross media pitchman.
  3. Hard pass deez nutz.
  4. That narrator for the Wardlow video sounded like Dustin Rhodes doing his best John Lithgow.
  5. I would love a Marty & Teddy indie team of alleged murderers.
  6. Punk Vs. Wardlow smell like a pure angle. I don’t see them going long.
  7. This Wendy Choo thing only works if Teddy Hart wakes up next to her, and shouts “NOT AGAIN”.
  8. Rollins isn’t really short, though. And Finn isn’t really being pushed as a star. AJ Styles is a better choice if you want to go with “height don’t matter”. But ultimately with the current head of talent relations, it does.
  9. Andrade viciously murdered Avery Good. He’s now a bruiser in the ring during these Dark. No fake out moonsaults, or head scissors. Just slap, kicks, and lariats. This is the Andrade that looks like a real star.
  10. Vince’s jealousy of Savage taking his daughters virginity before he did never ceases.
  11. Pretty much… Wrestling has always been that. Realistically, outside of Hangman getting his win back, their really is nothing left for him as a performer in AEW. He’s too past his prime, and realistically they will creatively tire of Jericho as a performer fast too in the WWE. Unless he’s being signed as a creative consultant for the WWE, or as a mouthpiece for someone.
  12. What’s kinda obvious now, as an on-air talent they really don’t need him. They’ve kinda moved away from him since his last big story. If he was a pro, he’d put over the guy he’s currently in a program with, and they can mutually part.
  13. He seems to have carte blanche to do whatever he wants. But when is his contract up with AEW?
  14. He wasn’t gay, he was just “BizaRRe!”, like Bulldog.
  15. Well Twitter is an awful platform when it’s constantly trying to put the hateful shit into your feed even if it’s not a DM.
  16. I do think if Punk Vs. Hangman happens at Double or Nothing, the odds change a bit in favor of Punk winning. But I do think it’s a possibility they put Hangman over even stronger. Like I’ve said, if it’s intentional, I think they’ve done a really good job in making you think Hangman’s a underdog champion who feels like his moment in the sun will be short. They need to continue on that path. Don’t do a WWE, or Gabe where they gave their long chasing champs(Bryan & Homicide) short ass reigns.
  17. Probably not a ladder match, because apparently we are getting the “Face of The Revolution” ladder match at the PPV. MJF brought that up at New Years Bash, when he told Wardlow that when he won it he’d relinquish the title shot to him.
  18. I think the TNT title would’ve changed hands. I guess the point would have been to have one title change on the show, and to give Sammy a further rub of recovering, and beating Cody during this special.
  19. Is that more than Bash at The Beach?
  20. That Canadian destroyer raised that match’s stock for me. I mean as soon as you saw the position, you knew it was coming, but the cleanness of it was shocking. Overall, I thought this was very good for a 1-hour wrestling show, but underwhelming for a “TV special”. TV specials should be three hours long, and filled with all your top stars. Still the women’s title match is totally worth watching. One of the best matches I’ve seen in early 2022.
  21. Isn’t the reason those athletes are signing because they are getting their scholarships paid for by them? I don’t think they are necessarily signing with them with only the intent to join the WWE. Besides they‘ll probably go the farm system route like they did back in the day to get operating costs even lower.
  22. To the surprise of no one. Explains why they’ve made so many cuts to lower operational costs. I wouldn’t be shocked to see the Performance Center be completely gone by the end of the year. They legit don’t need it. The only reason they possibly did it in the first place was because somebody probably convinced them that they needed a bigger iron grip on the industry as a whole at the time. No more NXT map, thankfully.
  23. Andrade is officially acting like a cartel boss, and talking about human trafficking. This is how I’ve been wanting him to act since they dropped the mouthpiece manager. And he’s improved so much with using his broken English to his advantage when portraying this character. He’s like a bigger Juventud Guerrera.
  24. On rewatch I loved the constant Buckshot Lariat teases. Really hammering the point home that is the silver bullet. I think we are getting a long Page reign. Him kicking out of the knee, and winning with one shot of his finisher cemented that.
