Fuck, I know RVD appeared. I stepped out of the room. Can somebody kindly fucking recap what happened and what I missed?

Did RVD interrupt the Cesaro celebration?

I didn't understand any of the other chants except CM Punk. I called this tag title match happening. I just thought the Usos would lose the belts.

  10. The Time Is NOW!!! Anyway, last night on the podcast, we talked about the main event and how Trips and Steph helped get the crowd back into the match. The reality on replay is that pre-Authority, the match was only "dead" when Bryan was out of commission. When he was doing corner dropkicks and kicking heads off, the crowd was amped. When he would disappear for a few minutes, the crowd died especially when Batista was in control. Good luck turning that guy face anytime soon. Still, this was early in the match and didn't really hurt the match quality at all. Also, if Steph hurt her leg, it was her own fault. Bryan didn't even come close to touching her on the dive. Looking back, I wonder if this is the best Triple Threat match I have seen. WM XX is skewed because of the participants. This one has the ultimate payoff. I might like the ROH debut three way more in terms of execution and it was so exciting seeing those guys perform a nearly flawless exhibition match but it didn't have this atmosphere or stakes. Also, it is so obvious how you get from last night to tonight. HHH forces Orton and Batista to co-exist as reluctant tag partners "for the good of the company". They beat the Usos for the belts keeping them out of the World Title picture and you have some great tag teams like the Shield, Rhodes and Usos to occupy their time while HHH looks for another wrestler to get the belt back because it is "best for business".
  11. Just rewatched Taker vs. Brock and it was about what i thought it was, probably worse. It was really sad watching Taker not being able to get leverage on the German suplexes dished out by Brock. We noticed it last night but the fact there was about 2 feet between the mat and Lesnar's head on the tombstone looked really bad. The crowd reaction still makes this a must see moment. If you fast forward to the finish and the crowd reaction, you have a great indescribable moment.
  12. John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt - Rewatch (Through the miracle of the WWE Network) - Dylan thought this was a very good match on the podcast last night. I told him I would rewatch it when I wasn't in a room full of guys looking for high spots and big finishes. Early on, the crowd wants to get into the match with dueling Cena-Wyatt chants. After viewing, the problem is they worked an arena match in a stadium setting. Cena didn't really get a nice shine to start off and there were no cutoffs or transitions leading to Wyatt controlling the match. Compare to the HHH match earlier where Bryan was hitting big moves early before Hunter finally settled on destroying the arm. Wyatt's character is great and his commentary is great but I think it gets lost in the stadium air. Wyatt's begging Cena to unleash his hate and Cena going to the dark side would have worked better on a RAW main event or smaller PPV. Cena's hesitation allows Bray to control with his unorthodox offense. Wyatt locking on sleepers and headlocks isn't really the right strategy for this match when he was probably taught to do that so the crowd could rally Cena but they don't. When Cena does comeback and is about to do the 5 knuckle shuffle, great spot when Wyatt pops up in the spider walk and great reaction by Cena and the crowd! The crowd is ready to explode but the wrestlers aren't responding. Once Wyatt catches Cena from the top into the powerbomb, the crowd comes alive and it comes across better without 8 guys drowning out the sound and from this point forward, it is all good. Having been to a Mania before in a stadium, the crowd is clearly into the match but we are getting the pockets of sound where they don't unite in noise. I love Wyatt dancing a jig as the crowd is singing "He Got the Whole World In His Hands". Cena jumping on the Family instead of Wyatt was a nice surprise. Cena is still hesitating to unleash the hate (ignoring he has been in some bloody wars and nasty gimmick matches). Great camera angle as Harper's foot comes into the camera connecting to Cena's face leading to the Wyatt senton. I love Cena getting his revenge by driving Harper through the barricade. Cena begging Wyatt to tap after he reverses Sister Abigail into the STF was awesome. Wyatt begging Cena to hit him with the chair leading to Rowan getting tagged instead should have led to Sister Abigail finishing it off. If Wyatt ends the match after that spot with Sister Abigail, this goes down as a classic. I am so glad I rewatched the match and it was another legitimate great match on the show. This match would be remembered as fondly as Bray-Bryan if it happened on E Chamber or on RAW with Bray going over. HUGE Thumbs UP on replay!!!
  13. I think this is the appropriate thread since it is such a TNA thing to do... Jeff Jarrett is calling his new wrestling fed... Global. Force. Copied from the Observer site...
  14. On podcasts and in posts, I was way more pessimistic. I didn't think they would hit 500,000 subscribers. I think they should be giggling like little school girls they are higher than that.
  15. I tried calling you last night to join us but you were MIA.
  16. Johnny Sorrow was supposed to join us but he was too fucked up. His partner in crime from Titans, Pete filled in and made more coherent points. Johnny did want us to make the point this was the BEST WRESTLEMANIA EVER!!!!
  17. Yeah his retirement is the Hall of Fame speech.
  18. Put a fork in him. He's done. Hall of Fame next year.
  19. All indications are that the app worked beautifully overall. Having said that, Dylan did have a couple of hiccups when watching.
  20. Just barely escaped the number of the beast.
  21. That's no gimmick.. that's a shoot. You might not be friends with Sorrow or Dylan much longer with comments like those.
  22. I was going to send it in last night but Game of Thrones was calling. We give you props on your clairvoyance.

Vickie Guerrero at her peak was awesome. One of the few people who had legitimate heat in the arena, not XPac heat or whatever . She made matches have more importance live. The Cougar character was awesome.
  24. Zero problems here.
