Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 3
goodhelmet replied to Loss's topic in Megathread archive
I don't agree at all. The last few have felt pretty epic even if the shows weren't the best Manias ever. -
The fact you are advocating them is close to a sure sign i will continue to oppose them.

Wrestlemania Predictions (It's never too early)

I just listened to the WO podcast from earlier this week and it appears that the tag match at Mania will be Usos vs. Ryback/Axel vs. Real Americans -
Wrestlemania Predictions (It's never too early)

Ryback and Axel were both in the official picture on the WWE website but both were taken off so I am only going by the pic on the website, John Cena also announced he was going to be in it on RAW when they announced the Battle Royal the night after Chamber. -
Wrestlemania Predictions (It's never too early)

I think they should have an NXT match as the pre-show match. Right now, there are 17 guys in the Battle Royal... Mark Henry Big Show 3 MB Goldust Cody Miz Dolph Ziggler Kofi Alberto Del Rio Fandango Christian Sheamus Big E Titus Damian Sandow No Wyatts, Shield, Usos or Real Americans in there yet. I am pretty sure Darren Young, The 3 Matadores, Truth, Xavier Woods, Khali, Rey, Rusev, Ryback, Curtis and Brodus Clay can be added without much trouble. Having trouble coming up with the last guy who isn't in NXT or one of the tag guys above. -
Wrestlemania Predictions (It's never too early)

Unless they let the Rhodes Brothers pull double duty, they are stuck in the battle royal. That sucks. Looking at the website, they still have 2 weeks before the big show but only 5 matches announced. I am hoping they start filling this card up soon so I can stop predicting matches and start predicting outcomes. -
That is so 90s though and it really did fit perfectly with the times. Looking back, it is corny as hell. I am also curious if the DIsh Network's refusal to carry Rumble and Chamber affected the numbers of both.

The Rhodes vs. Shield last year when the Rhodes had to win in order to keep their jobs and then had to retain was pretty good while it lasted.
-
Agreed. I wonder if anything from Japan popped up showing Bigelow in a more favorable light but that is for the Bigelow thread. Back to Lawler... been bugging Phil Schneider to review all of the Lawler-Dundee singles matches for Segunda Caida. Lets hope that pops up soon!

Wrestlemania Predictions (It's never too early)
goodhelmet replied to goodhelmet's topic in Pro Wrestling
OK, new predictions for a not-yet completed card.... Andre the Giant Battle Royale - I am going Sheamus here but my heart calls out to Mark Henry Usos vs. Real Americans - Usos win and Real Americans finally break up. Segment ends with Swagger in the Big Swing. Shield vs. Kane & New Age Outlaws - 3 minute match that ends with the old bad wrestlers taking 3 finishers from each Shield member and getting pinned simultaneously. Divas match - AJ Lee loses the belt to her opponent. John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt - Wyatt should win but I don't have faith in this. I originally predicted Cena winning this. Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar HHH vs. Daniel Bryan - Only an idiot would book Daniel Bryan not to win. WWE is full of idiots. Batista vs. Randy Orton vs. (Daniel Bryan) - My complete lack of faith in the WWE has me nervous picking Bryan but lets go with the Wrestlemania moment. ---- If this is the final card, it feels really underwhelming. -
Why is it great shit? Explain.
-
Yeah, I anticipate the Mania crowd to be jacked because unless the WWE creative are the most incredibly stupid people on the face of the planet (and they can be because it is wrestling), the crowd knows the ultimate payoff is there.
-
Holy shit, when Bryan was on his knees after the 1st slap from Steph, he looked like Jesus.
-
I missed the rana thing completely.
-
I was digging the whole dancing thing and the shtick but I had to watch the baby fora brief second. I saw them crumple to the mat, Fandango does a suplex and then missed the leg drop. Then the finish and Goldust visibly pissed off. What did I miss?
-
So I switched to the 2nd screen during the commercial break and Orton was beginning to do some Grade A arm work on Bryan before Bryan made a comeback.
-
I have seen some great John Cena matches in San Antonio... vs. Umaga (Rumble 2007) vs Del Rio (Unforgiven 2011) vs. Daniel Bryan (Summer 2012)
-
It is all about ratios... I would take 10 Randy Orton matches over 1 HHH match. I would take 1000 William Regal matches over 1 HHH match.
-
I am splitting this off from the Current WWE thread. All Total Divas talk in this thread.
-
So Alvarez is reporting this or Scott Keith? Can we get somebody to confirm who actually reported this?
-
Live, this was amazing. It started off slow but by the time the bombs started throwing, the crowd was going nuts. Perfectly built. The broken ring played into the Cena vs. Del Rio main event which was pretty awesome live also.

He is a member of 3MB. -
It really is the perfect analogy. We will do it again on the air but your passive aggressive insults at internet fans who dare question the idiotic decisions of those in power is the real failure. It's like you lack the ability to disconnect your own enjoyment from the poor booking decisions and the consequences of those decisions. The reason we are getting a possible Daniel Bryan moment at Wrestlemania is because of the fans you labeled as douches for shitting all over the Cena-Orton match at Rumble and made Del Rio a face for about 12 minutes during his Elimination Chamber match forced the hand of the company. And if the current Johnny Sorrow is Ric Flair, it would be this one... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RAvyrx11v4Q

A pic would be nice.
