I mysteriously disappear for the last match and the other guys take it home. Another AWESOME night of wrestling. Also, ignore the last two hours if you download this show. Some idiot fell asleep and didn't end the show properly.

The only thing worse would be falling asleep while hosting your own podcast

Here's my list 1. Jerry Lawler Everyone else. Seriously, After Lawler and Flair, I need to put in some serious thought in who #3-50 would be.

We were making those comments in the nomination process. You lose. -
Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan - Match was building up fine until the finish that left me scratching my head. I think they should have had a weird Big SShow's job for Bryan's right to fight for the belt at HIAC here instead of the Orton-Bryan match. Well, I guess HIAC will be set up but what a shitty way to get there.

Must have been while I was on vacation.

It may have looked like dog shit this time but it has looked excellent against other opponents in the past who actually ate the kick. Having said that, Punk has a pretty good track record of playing underneath (Brock, Taker) whereas Ryback has been a letdown in most matches he has been in including the Henry Mania match. I honestly wish that Ryback was a face again so he could actually live up to the Goldberg chants. Ryback is currently the best week to week character in wrestling. The last thing I want is him turning face. The idea that Punk's high kick isn't pretty consistently one of his weaker spots is completely bizarre. I'm hardly anti-Punk, but it's one of the two quirks I consistently have to ignore even in otherwise good matches because I know it's coming and the vast majority of the time it's going to look like shit. Ryback isn't much in the ring but he had good matches more than once this year with Bryan and Cesaro. Normally I would say it's not fair to compare someone to those two because I think they are two of the best four wrestlers in the world this year, but if the idea is that Punk is having a really great year (I don't think he is, though he has had some excellent performances), it seems perfectly reasonable to note that. I agree with his character being great as the big bad bully from Three O'Clock High. However, he isn't very good in the ring. Also, I was live at the Bryan-Ryback match. He killed the crowd dead during the gauntlet.

So Ryback selling the high kick 3 seconds before it hits is Punk's fault? Ryback going to chinlocks early to kill the crowd even more is Punk's fault? All Punk had to do during the Ryback segment was sell and he did it. It isn't like they didn't have the template from the Brock match to follow.

CM Punk vs. Ryback - Punk is really smart about taking to the air and and attacking monsters through chopping down the tree and aerial attacks. Too bad Ryback isn't Brock because when he was in control the match dies a death. Punk tried his hardest with the comeback and Heyman tried to inject some life but Ryback is really bad. Awkward finish to a bad match, maybe Punk's worst of the year.
-
Bray Wyatt vs. Kofi Kingston - This was ok, nothing great. They need better opponents for Wyatt... like Goldust!
-
What the fuck was that spider shit?
-
It really does feel like Dutch Mantel should manage the Wyatt Family.
-
The Shield vs. Goldust & Cody Rhodes - I need to revisit the Booker T-Goldust team but Dustin may be Top 5 tag team worker of all time. Match lived up to the promise. Awesome Goldust FIP and then the great stretch run. Yeah, this isn't the worst WWE PPV ever or whatever crap was being spewed.
-
AJ vs. Brie - Early on, nice bumping from AJ off the dropkick and corner rams and then AJ goes all Fujiwara attacking the arm after ramming Brie into the ring post. great work by AJ. Too bad, Brie didn't sell the arm on her offensive run. Lame finish and stretch run but big props to AJ.

Looks like they are giving the Top 3 matches almost 2 hours. I have high hopes for the tag match!!!!
-
Real Americans vs. Khali & Santino - Nothing mattered except the big swing and that was enough. Curtis Axel vs. R Truth - Crowd didn't give a shit and too bad. With heat, this would have been ok. Without it, it just makes you feel like this should be the pre-game match with commercial break.
-
Alberto Del Rio vs. RVD - I preferred their little stiff fest last month to the garbage match. I don't know if I agree with not giving the belt to RVD or if Alberto should pile up wins against more faces. Sorta stuck on that one right now.
-
I am ready for it this year!
-
Titus Rules!
-
Damian Sandow vs. Dolph Ziggler - HAH! Love that the preview match has a commercial break.
-
I was going to lock this thread and start a new more positive PPV recap thread but I just edited the title and I won't have to read anarchist's post again.

I love it. I would never wear it but i love it.
