  3. Another match that nearly got bumped but I actually watched the match while converting and we kept it on because the crowd was so hot.
  4. I hate Iron Mike Sharpe so much I may have to ban Thread Killer.

  7. Karma and Sin Cara were both great pick-ups. The way it ended sucked but you absolutely cannot fault them for actually signing them. Same thing goes for Hero, Claudio, the Shield guys, etc. They are picking up the right people. I don't know if HHH is in charge of creative which is where the projects are getting lost. Karma is another story but that is not HHH's fault.
  8. Last year at Mania, when I read that people were commenting on the dead crowd (especially for Punk-Jericho) I never felt like the match was dead live. What you really hear live are pockets of sections coming alive. When it eventually reaches the rest of the crowd, the original pocket dies and a new section carries the noise. For HHH-Lesnar, I didn't hear pockets on TV at all. I wonder if that is how Punk-Jericho came across.
  9. Why would he ruin your night? The show went too long thanks to the Trips-Brock match but overall, a pretty entertaining show. The Shield match was a great opener. Mark Henry match kinda blew but Henry won Fun tag title match Jericho walking Fandango through a match Del Rio vs. Swagger - I didn't watch Punk vs. Taker would be the one match featured on one of my MOTY sets. HHH-Brock blew Rock-Cena was fine but predictable. Without the HHH snoozefest, this would have been a much better PPV.
  10. John Cena vs. The Rock - This felt better than last year's match as they decided to do away with the bearhug stuff and Rock didn't seem blown up like the rest of the matches unless I was missing something. Smart thing to have Cena's music playing louder than any other song at the end because ....oops music is off and the crowd is booing. Oh well, too bad they went the safe route on the show.
  11. Looks like the Bellas got bumped.
  12. Brock Lesnar vs. HHH - Man, there was something perversely entertaining in watching Brock Lesnar destroy HHH to a dead silent crowd. The last few minutes were dramatic but fuck HHH.
  13. Undertaker vs CM Punk - Match of the show so far. Heyman was great. Punk's expressions were great. The Undertaker's expressions were great. The execution was pretty great. The only thing that hurt this was that the finish was never in doubt but Punk worked his hardest in trying to make you believe it was.
  14. I second all of this. Actually, just the singer looked old.
  15. Alberto Del Rio vs. Jack Swagger - I had to feed my kid so I missed most of this. I don't really care for Swagger at all anyway. Mechanically, I am sure he is fine but I don't care about his character, I think his Shamrock/Angle Lock is lame and it really should have been Mark Henry in this spot. I am glad that Del Rio went over though.
  16. I thought story of the match was that Jericho was spot running guy and Fandango was just trying to survive. Had no problem with any of his offense, though this is not a match I would point to as great offensive showcase on either end I thought he looked fine as guy getting his ass kicked. I thought he looked lost on offense. He had no idea what he wanted to do when he was actually in control, including the awkward corner splash. If he works all of his amtches as guy who gets his ass kicked, kicks guy from the apron and lands leg drop, I can deal with that.
  17. Chris Jericho vs. Fandango - Jericho was working for two as he kept hitting highspot after highspot to keep the crowd into it. With the exception of the counter kick that gave Fandango a break early on, his offense does not look good at all. Jericho tried his best ot cover for the botched finish. Kudos to JEricho but I don't care if I ever see Johnny Curtis wrestle again. This is the point you wish Cesaro was on the show.
  18. Also, I want to say they are really not wasting time between matches at all.
  19. Team Hell No vs. Ziggler & Langston - Really great opening sequence with Bryan trying to catch Ziggler off guard. Really energetic but sloppy tag that the crowd was into the entire way. Man, I think at this point, Ziggler is probably going to cash in on Del Rio but I Think he should be the first guy to cash in and not actually win the belt. I don't think he is World Title material at all.
  20. Mark Henry vs. Ryback - I don't think Ryback is the right guy for Mark Henry to play the slow, methodical work the ribs game but the finish was legitimately great. Ryback shouldn't have been able to hit the Shell-Shcok after the finish of the match but I guess he needed his heat back. I was surprised they gave Henry the win though.
  21. Oh shit, someone's gonna get their ass kicked.
  22. The Shield vs. Orton, Sheamus & Big Show - Awesome opener as the Shield's streak of great PPV matches continue. Oh well, I thought Orton would turn heel but Show turned heel when Orton stole the hot tag from him. Can't really complain because Show was really never a face.
  23. I missed the pre-show because my Blu-Ray player couldn't play the stream on any sites but it has youtube. Go figure. Anyway, feel free to post your thoughts as they happen here!!!
  24. It was a serious question.
