Sorry about that but there has not been any clear statement in the Observer that I have read that gives a clear answer on his contract situation. this week should shed some new light on the whole ordeal.

I just noticed that no one had any comments on RAW. I didn't watch it and haven't read any reviews so I have no idea what happened. So, what happened?

I know you re-evaluated the stipulation match, what about this one?

I don't know if I would have rated it that much higher but it is easily top ten U.S. from the 80s for me at this time. Loss made a comment that some of the moves in the match leading to this were pedestrian. I prefer to label them as simple yet effective. I would rather watch a believable punch than a non-pedetrian move that looks fake. Duggan-DiBiase is full of that kind of stuff. As for watching when tired, I agree. Being tired can make you undermine a match or give it more credit than it's worth. Pissed off? I like watching wrestling when I am pissed off. I think it allows me to wind down.

That's not exactly true sek. Most early ECW crowds crapped on the "good" matches until Heyman trained the monkeys. And even after they were trained, there were never enough good matches in the company to really make it a focus of their shows. However, yes, ECW crowds were passionate about their product.

If you mean subscribers to the Observer, no. However, we do get to vote on the Match of the Year.

Are you talking about the elimination match off the Epic Battles tape? If so, I just watched the clip about ten minutes ago.

I'm thinking if 8 to 10 minutes are shown of a JIP match it'd be okay to nominate? Maybe 8 out of 10 minutes? Thay is what drives me nuts about the Can-Ams v. Kikuchi/Kobashi match. It is such a great friggin match that I want to se the first half dammit. Still, I would be hesitant too nominate a match that isn't at least 50-60% complete.

WP, I am pretty sure Canada is fair game, however, are there any Stampede matches that are in some complete form?

So did anyonw watch the show last night? Rudo wasn't the only one who praised the main event so I was interested in other people's thoughts.

I think my contention is that even if he has 20 volumes, it is still small in comparison to the other categories. Then, add the fact that very few people here actually have access to it and you realize that people can't nominate it if they haven't seen it.

Man, I am thinking pre-90s footage of lucha may be too scarce to have its own category. We may want to condense lucha of all eras.
