I just remembered today was Monday about an hour ago. It's surreal when you go back to school for the first day.

What is sad is that there is already a thread for next week's RAW and not one thread for tonight's show. Did anyone even realize it happened?

Why did you pick Benoit over Eddy in 1994? To be honest, I would choose anything Eddy did with Los Gringos or AAA that year over Benoit and his Super J Cup win anyday of the week. At this moment in time, I'll go with Eddy in a walk. We had an argument at SNKT over definitive matches that define someone's career. Eddy has had so many. With Benoit, most people consider the JCup win the one true classic match of Benoit's career. Hell, I don't even think that match is one of the tope ten junior matches, much less a true classic. In fact, I think the exact opposite is true when I see these phrases... Eddy has absolutely destroyed Benoit's work in the last 2 years. This isn't to demean Benoit (although it will) but Eddie has been far and away the best wrestler in WWE for two years running.

THe only problem with that argument is Bret would have dropped the belt to anyone but Shawn (which was in Bret's right). Vince chose/forced the issue with Shawn. Fuck, Taker was right there. Whoever. Vince knew he was going to screw Bret and knew what he wanted to do long before that night ever took place.

YOu clearly didn't listen to the interview because he isn't hung up on those events. That was what he was implying... that after the stroke he put things in perspective. However, Vince screwed Bret but I don't feel like arguing that again.

--- He said there will be some Stampede wrestling on there adn stuff from the Hart Foundation days. --- He has no plans to work with WWE in any capacity after the DVD but doesn't rule it out. He doesn't want to come back as a referee or commissioner.

For those who aren't, a couple of quick notes... --- He felt everything was done respectfully while he was on Conn. --- He felt the DVD was the right thing to do for the fans so they could get the best story. Plus, he didn't want it diminished with another Confidential-like piece. --- After his stroke, he felt like it wasnt necessary to carry around this "bag of rocks" being Montreal or Owen's death. People know it happened and they know the truth.

Take it from me, having kids can do that to a woman.

Too bad it appeared on Velocity. On the WCW theme, it would be one of those rare matches you found on a 1998 episode of Saturday Night when the company didn't give a shit about its "C" shows. Oh, it wasn't hard to tell what disc you popped into the burner first

And keep in mind that this spans only a little less than a year. You could probably fill a book the size of a dictionary with this stuff.

Meltz said he'll have a full report what went down and the details in this week's Observer. I didn't get my copy today so hopefully it will arrive tomorrow. If so, I'll definitely report all of the details.
