  1. Yup. They feel he is lacking in the charisma department.
  2. Loss, sorry to go off topic for a second, but what's the deal with your avatar? When did Kurt make that face?
  3. Heh no. It's a different one. Loss, logic goes out of the window with the WWE creative team. In fact he told me that they like Angle/Eugene because they felt Angle was better in a comedy feud, rather than in a serious feud against someone like Shelton Benjamin who they are down on, as evident. One writer's opinion doesn't mean that it's going to happen. Orton/Christian won't happen, but he is PUSHING for it. Eddy has done so many jobs so that IF in the unlikely event he wins the title, Rey would look VERY strong in challenging for the title, which won't happen. Fact is, they went about things the wrong way in planning things out then just realizing, "Well maybe Eddy shouldn't have been losing so much..."
  4. Can't we just say they are two of the best workers in the past 10 years?
  5. I doubt it'd happen. Bret did say he wanted nothing to do with the TV aspect. He just wants to do the DVD and get the hell out.
  6. I spoke to someone who is a WWE writer (one of the smarter ones, not the kind that doesn't know what "get heat" is...
  7. Which I wholeheartedly agree. I think Eddy's the clear cut MVP of 2004 and could be again this year if he got away from Rey. But when speaking of the 5 years they have been associated with the company, Benoit wins hands down.
  8. I'm not really limiting my opinion to 2004-2005. I was speaking of their WWE careers. Benoit's been in a lot of classics while Eddy was either putting on good matches or forgotten gems, but no classics.
  9. I agree. Eddy has been disappointing. All his matches lately, while ranging from okay to good, has yet to realize the full potential, both for his character and his ability. Benoit makes better use of his ability, even though he is a bit repetitive, but then again so was Flair and Hart, and they were widely considered great workers.
  10. Fact is, if Vince couldn't handle his guys dictating the direction of their characters, he could.... STOP CREATIVE CONTROL CLAUSES in contracts. He (Vince) dug his own grave and he took the scummy way out. One part of me feels it was unfortunate that Bret's screwing propelled WWF/E to a new golden age.
  11. Initially he wouldn't drop it to Michaels at all, but after a lot of back and forth arguing between him and Vince, Bret agreed to drop it in a 4 way at the Dec PPV to Shawn (though I suspect his elimination would not have been at the hands of the dancin' boy).
  12. Bret was willing to job the title, even to Michaels. Just not at MONTREAL.

  17. I'd rather keep Bret off TV til he grows his hair back in. Him coming on Raw or Smackdown with the shaved head makes the little Hart mark in me weep.
  18. No one believes it's a shoot anyways. He might address that issue but I would rather hear about Brock at this point. You are right that he will probably touch on more than one thing but the Edge/Hardy thing has pretty much fizzled out.
  19. I'm sorry Loss, but Brock takes priority over MATT HARDY. They could go about the Hardy thing many different ways, like have Hardy come out and challenge Edge to a "shoot" fight at Summerslam, then Edge agrees. Eric comes out and makes it unsanctioned.
  20. Some news sites are reporting it is about Brock's return at Summerslam.
  21. Sorry to derail the topic for a second but anyone know where I can get the Bret/Bulldog match from '92? I have been wanting to watch it in its entirety again. I haven't seen the match since its initial airing in... well, 1992.
  22. Isn't the James Gibson character a redneck too?
  23. Yes that's a good business model.... As long as they actually have the show, they need to build it up. They won't, I know, but Vince's alter ego does run amok on there, so the show does have some value to the company.
  24. Handstands are easy. They'd run up the stairs on their hands to get him. Now that's an impressive feat.
  25. It depends on how he leaves. If he is oblitterated at the hands of Cena, I don't see him coming back for a long while, if ever. If he leaves via injury angle, then who knows? I hope Jericho heads to TNA than WWE though. They need all the star power they can get and he would have instant credibility as opposed to *cough* Jeff Jarrett *cough*. WWE doesn't REALLY NEED him. TNA does.
