  1. Yeah but they kept calling them Mega Powers on commentary
  2. He is at least getting the Titan push from a few years ago
  3. Ask the major sports leagues how important TV still is.....
  4. KrisZ

    Rusev

This was in the Observer leading from Kevin Eck talking about how Tensai was created. Says a lot doesn't it
  5. 1990 is too early I would go with 1993
  6. There is definitely that indeed. Mid-South would be a bitch to edit especially the UWF years
  7. The biggest deal I'm sure they have with older footage other than digitalizing it is all the editing they have to do regarding music....so many territories willfully used popular music and I'm sure editing all of that out is a bitch
  8. The show pretty much died after Bryan cut his promo and they should have expected that
  9. Dave finally confirms what we should have believed would happen
  10. More like 2007 Cena
  11. There is a lot of really good talent on that roster and should be fun but I won't believe this happens until the bell rings on their first show.
  12. Djoker is a lot like Cena trying to follow Federer and Nadal's Bret and HBK.
  13. I remember going to Xwrestling.com a lot back in the day mainly because of WDB who had some amazing photoshop pics.
  14. GLF dominating this thread warms my heart
  15. One thing that we forgot to hit on was public access shows like yours and others hell I even had one for a while there in 1998.
  16. Mr. Donnie was Tommy Rich's drug dealer
  17. Ricki Starr was a ballet dancer Jerry Lawler got in through his drawing ability.
  18. Go listen to this.....it's a really good laid back show
  19. Gene Kiniski was an NWA champ but he was supposedly a great worker in his prime but was a big guy who wasn't very charismatic. The NWA always wanted the "superworker" as champion because of the schedule and the variety of opponents they would have to work. WWF wasn't that way as they went with either ethnic characters or in the rare case of SBG the super charismatic guy. Backlund was the white meat babyface that Vince wanted to anchor the top for years before it was time to move on.
  20. Realignment is basically bringing in a new booker because the product has gotten stale.
  21. One of the main things I think though is wherever Dory was working he was booking the territory.....and he wasn't going to do that in Dallas
  22. Everyone wants to talk about how the NBA needs to redo their conferences and I figured the best way to do it is separate kinda like MLB & NFL did and not go by just East & West National Conference Eastern Boston Philadelphia New York Washington Miami Central Houston Atlanta Milwaukee Detroit Chicago Western Oklahoma City Golden State Phoenix Los Angeles Lakers Portland Continental Conference Eastern Brooklyn Toronto Charlotte Orlando Cleveland Central Indiana Dallas New Orleans Memphis San Antonio Western Denver Minnesota Utah Los Angeles Clippers Sacramento
  23. Kris is joined by Robert Bihari, Alfredo Esparza, & The Cubs Fan to discuss what we think it takes to be a top-level tecnico in Lucha Libre. We talk about what styles we prefer and how booking plays an important role in getting over young tecnicos. Listen to us talk about luchadores of all shapes and sizes as well as giving our takes on state of Lucha Libre in 2015! http://placetobenation.com/exile-on-badstreet-4-the-art-of-the-tecnico-plus-2015-1st-quarter-lucha-year-in-review/
