I didn't buy a KG jersey, but that's only because a lifetime of buying ridiculous Nets jerseys (Kerry Kittles! Dikembe Mutumbo! Richard Jefferson!) told me that would be a bad idea.

If I have to watch my Nets play more abominations like today's game, I'd be all for banning sports and entertainment events on Christmas.

This was well worked and managed to keep my attention for most of the match, no small feat when it's 1am and I'm ready for bed. I find UWF hit or miss, but this was a solid hit for me.

Jake Roberts has always been a helluva promo, and while this isn't an all time great or anything, it's fine for this mid card program with Bad News Brown.

There were parts of this I liked. Toyota's aggression to start the match is really good, and one of her main assets as a wrestler is her crazy flexibility, which make these submissions look nasty and her bumps look brutal. But I can't say this did a whole lot for me as there were parts of it that dragged. There was some good stuff here for sure, but I can't call it a MOTYC.

I like how Austin still puts over Adams' wrestling school while still cutting a promo on Adams. Jeannie is so great at this uber-bitch role. I bet she was getting death threats.

If Lawler was telling fans to say no to underage girls, I'd say he was full of shit, but I believe him when he says say no to drugs.

Lawler does some blatant race baiting in his promo, and while this has been a program built around race before this point, Lawler appears to be saying more racist things to make himself a heel to the African Americans they are clearly trying to get into the arenas with this feud. More signs that they are stepping away from the worked shoot, shades of gray booking from earlier in this feud and giving each side more defined heel/face roles. Nice pull apart during the Battle of Kings match. Feels like it's time for Snowman to either win the title or Lawler to move onto other things.

See, I saw this as being more of a regular pro wrestling match than their previous matches. Yeah, it's mostly punches, but I also don't get the feeling that they are trying a worked shoot here, but more a worked wrestling match based around punching. Lawler having three managers and throwing fire is a blatant attempt to make him more heelish than they had done before. Wonder if the second gate with Lou Winston was down some, so they changed things to make Snowman more of a babyface and Lawler more of a heel to create more of an issue fans at home would understand.

Wow, I have no recollection of Elizabeth being around post-Mania. I don't think she did anything on TV, but it looks like she did some house show stuff. That's cool.

Fun stuff by three guys who know how to cut a promo. Teases a US title feud that, to my knowledge, never came to fruition. Can't blame the Birds for wanting the US tag titles. The champs seemingly never win.

Isn't Arn still the TV champ? I understand Rocky King probably isn't a top contender for the TV title, but shouldn't Arn at least come out with the belt, and be announced as champion? Were they phasing out the TV title at this point, only to change their minds later? Match is a squash, but Arn can't even beat Rocky King before the Horsemen run in and get him DQ'd, as Ole continues to bury his own group. Sid bailing rather than have to bump in his awesome tux was pretty funny.

It's hard for me to hate Thunderbolt Patterson. The man is carny as fuck. He sees Ole pulling this racist shit, and uses it to get a few paydays while pretending to care about their portrayal of African-Americans. Good on you, Thunderbolt.
