Magical connection to the crowd that Bruno had over Colon. Colon had a magical connection the crowd too and bigger crowds.
-
Colon probably sold more tickets than Bruno.

I was drunk watching Mania this year with friends and family. Made the show two million times better. Although the next day stunk. Rusev arriving on a tank while drank was the most amazing thing in the history of wrestling. However, I don't drink very often so I don't have much to say about this. Maybe when the finalization of legalization of marijuana in Canada is completed I might use it to get through Raw.

They will get a good run, don't worry!

According to Meltzer on WC: Daniel Bryan gave notice, but then was told he could not give notice.

Impact Wrestling #3 "Jarrett vs Shamrock" July 3, 2002 City Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee An opening video package is played that shows some classic old-school NWA wrestling which then shows the phrase "The Past, The Present, and The Future of Wrestling". The Impact Wrestling logo appears as we enter the arena and get a pyro show. Don West is in the ring and introduces us to Impact Wrestling. He hypes the crowd talking about James Maritato challenging for the NWA X Division Champion AJ Styles and Jeff Jarrett, with his injured leg, challenging the NWA World Heavyweight Champion Ken Shamrock. He throws it to the new announce team of Maura Ranallo, Mike Tenay and Don Callis. The announce crew talk about the World Title and X Division Title match, before turning to the upcoming opener. First up tonight is Homicide trying to avenge his loss to The Amazing Red. Each men will pick a tag team for this six-man tag opener. While talking Homicide's music hits and he comes to the ring and introduces his team that will commit the crime of rubbing out Red and his "friends". He brings out his friends from the hood in Da Hit Squad! The Amazing Red comes out with The SAT at his side. The announcers build up both teams. Homicide & Da Hit Squad vs The Amazing Red & The SAT The SAT and Red get in some amazing spots, while Homicide refuses to face Red one on one and only enters when Da Hit Squad gain the advantage. Red plays face in peril and finally tags SAT who go nuts with dives. Da Hit Squad are able to gain control and knock out Red. Instead of pinning him they tag in Homicide who nails a Cop Killa for the win. Winners: Homcidie & Da Hit Squad @ 10:29 A video package is played with Kid Romeo and Elix Skipper walking around Nashville and being disgusted by the horses and food. The graphic says they are coming soon. Kid Kash vs Shark Boy Shark Boy is comedy, Kash crushes him. Winner: Kid Kash @ 1:53 Before the match Jeremy Borash is with James Mitchell who informs us that The New Church is upon us and darkness will fall upon Impact Wrestling. Slash & Cobain w/ James Mitchell vs Tracy Smothers & Chris Hamrick A southern tag where both teams looked real good. Mitchell did help Slash and Cobain cheat to victory. Winners: Slash & Cobain @ 9:44 Don West is backstage to announce the challenger for the NWA World Heavyweight Title next week and he brings out Scott Hall. Hall talks about winning so many titles in his past, but never the World Title. This will be his chance, whether it's against Shamrock or Jarrett. Either way they will be going down. NWA X Division Champion AJ Styles vs James Maritato Maritato tries to ground AJ and does a good job of it, until AJ's comeback. AJ hits the Styles Clash for the win. Winner: AJ Styles @ 14:39 to retain the NWA X Division Title Homicide & Da Hit Squad are with Jeremy Borash backstage and they say nobody is safe in Impact Wrestling and the X Division and Tag Titles are going home with them. Borash tries to bring up that Homicide only beat Red with lots of help, but Homicide points out that Red may never return after the beating he took tonight. Steve Corino vs Vampire Warrior Corino puts away Warrior quickly with the Old School Explosion. Winner: Steve Corino @ 3:09 After the match Nelson Knight confronts Corino. The announcers pointed out that Corino blamed Knight for the six man tag lose on the debut show. As Knight gets in Corino's face, he is jumped by CW Anderson and Simon Diamond. As the beat down continues, security pulls them away. Corino, Anderson and Diamond hold up four fingers as the announcers speculate about what that all means. On the way to the ring BG James and Ron Killings jump Jarrett again and take out his knee. Jarrett demands the match goes on anyway. NWA World Heavyweight Champion Ken Shamrock vs Jeff Jarrett Shamrock toys with Jarrett and really attacks the leg. Jarrett has a small comeback, but as he goes for the figure-four Shamrock turns that into the Ankle Lock submission and Jarrett has to tap out. Winner: Ken Shamrock @ 11:40 The announcers hype up next week's Ken Shamrock title defense against Scott Hall. York & Matthews will also defend their NWA World Tag Team Titles against the incoming Dupp Brothers. What are the ramifications of Corino and his friends? What condition is Jarett and will he be able to stop James & Killings?

I think there is a chance we get this, and it would be two million times better. At Fast Lane, Dean wins, (EDIT: Roman) gets pissed and turns heel. Demands Undertaker at Mania to prove himself. WrestleMania 32 Triple H vs Dean Ambrose (World Title) Roman Reigns vs Undertaker Brock Lesnar vs Bray Wyatt AJ Styles vs Chris Jericho Charlotte vs Sasha Banks vs Becky Lynch (Divas Title) etc..

https://prowrestlingsuperblog.wordpress.com/2016/01/19/top-100-matches-lists-from-the-pro-wrestling-super-show/ Top 100 Matches (Lists from the Pro-Wrestling Super Show) My List:14) Bret Hart vs Steve Austin (Submission, WWF WrestleMania XIII, 3/23/1997) 8) Bret Hart vs Steve Austin (WWF Survivor Series, 11/17/1996)

To me the greatest feud of all-time. Of course I was 16-17 at the time and Bret was my favourite wrestler, so I might be biased. The two big matches are completely different and two of the best in WWF/E history. They had their all-time great moment at the 97 Rumble when Bret came out, while Austin was alone. The promos were great and everything was hitting on all cylinders. The purpose of this thread is three-fold. 1) Is this the greatest feud ever, if not what was? 2) Favourite parts/memories, etc.. 3) I will be joining Jason Mann on Wrestlespective podcast to do the IYH match and talk about their feud, so if you have any questions for the show you can leave them here.

The Jim Ross Is A Grouchy Hateful Vile Human Being thread
Grimmas replied to Loss's topic in Megathread archive
I wonder what his reaction to Wade Keller suggesting that Nakamura debuts on NXT, gets a huge buzz and then on Mania confronts Brock after his match. -
Here is fine. Comment on a post or hit me up on twitter.

Bret played the Genie in Aladdin in live theater.

Impact Wrestling #2 "Destination X" June 26, 2002 (Taped June 19, 2002) Von Braun Civic Center in Huntsville, Alabama An opening video package is played that shows some classic old-school NWA wrestling which then shows the phrase "The Past, The Present, and The Future of Wrestling". The Impact Wrestling logo appears as we enter the arena and get a pyro show. A video highlighting the first round of the NWA X Division Tile Tournament is shown, which includes the brackets and shows an image of the title is aired. Low Ki vs The Amazing Red (NWA X Division Title Tournament: Semi-Final) The match is the same as the match from ROH Road to the Title match (recorded a few days before that). Winner: Low Ki @ 11:16 to advance to the finals of the NWA X Division Title tournament Mike Tenay and Don Callis are at the announce table and rave about the previous match. Jerry Lynn and AJ Styles will have quite the challenge in the finals to defeat Low Ki after that performance. Jerry Lynn vs AJ Styles (NWA X Division Title Tournament: Semi-Final) A more competitive match than the last one, but the Styles Clash gains the victory for Styles. Winner: AJ Styles @ 14:53 to advance to the finals of the NWA X Division Title tournament. Backstage Don West says that the championship committee will review who will be the #1 contender for the NWA World Heavyweight Title later tonight. BG James and Ron Killings approach and demand that one of them get the title shot. If anybody doubts them check out this next match. BG James & Ron Killings vs Cassidy Riley & Chase Stevens A surprisingly competitive match, but the cheating of James and Killings was too much. Winners: BG James & Ron Killings @ 6:06 Jeremy Borash is backstage with "The King of Old School" Steve Corino and CW Anderson. Corino says the only reason they lost last week was, because he was teamed with that fat piece of shit Nelson Knight. Corino is a former NWA World Heavyweight and ECW World Heavyweight Champion and demands the title shot next week. If the Championship Committee does not rule in his favour, then all of Impact Wrestling will pay. Doug Williams vs Norman Smiley A match to help establish Doug Williams. Winner: Doug Williams @ 6:23 NWA World Tag Team Champions The Shane Twins vs Christian York & Joey Matthews The Shane Twins look dominate as Matthews plays face in peril. Of course there is a hot tag and York and Matthews grab the win and titles. Winners: Christian York & Joey Matthews @ 12:42 to win the NWA World Tag Team Titles Ricky Steamboat is backstage with Don West to make the announcement of who will get the NWA World Title shot next week on behalf of the Championship Committee. He mentions the six man tag last week and states that since Jarrett picked up the pinfall victory that he will face Ken Shamrock next week for the title. Jarrett comes up and thanks Scott Hall and Masato Tanaka for helping him to victory and that they will each receive shots once he wins the belt. He is then attacked by BG James and Ron Killings who take out his leg until security pulls them away. Low Ki vs AJ Styles (NWA X Division Title Tournament: Final) They go all out to have a great match and treat both men as equals here as this looked like the first match in a series to come. Winner: AJ Styles @ 19:37 to win the NWA X Division Title As Ricky Steamboat presents AJ Styles with the NWA X Division Title, Mike Tenay and Don Callis hype up next week's NWA World Title match between Ken Shamrock and Jeff Jarrett. That is, of course, if Jarrett can make the match. They have been informed that James Maritato will get a title shot against AJ Styles next week as well as Homicide looking for revenge against The Amazing Red where they both will bring in a tag team as partners in a six man tag match.

Big E vs Taker might be the best option, as Big E is a guy who should be built up to the top of the company. Plus Xavier and Kofi trolling Taker would rule.
-
AJPW is fun... but I went with the Zero 1 connection instead.

Where is my Pentagon Jr. vs LA Park brawl???

The other guys are coming, Harris and Storm will get their push. Skipper & Romeo I had forgot about and if they didn't end up in WWE, they will be coming in too. Wanted FBI in that spot, because they were former champions. I really should had done Psicosis on this show, instead of Crazy though. As for Road Dog's name, I was just assuming he picked that name so we will go with that. I have some fun things planned for the Killings/James team going forward. With Jarrett and Hall in there, I wanted the company to feel like a distinct something different than a crappy WCW clone. Maybe too much ECW on this show, but going forward the rest of the roster is not.

I loved this too. Maximo is one of the most under rated guys around. Moved into my number 3 match of the year.

By the way, great resource here. Lists some stuff I needed to check out, that I missed.
