Yeah, so Orton-Wyatt would seem underwhelming then. It's been a great built up story for many of months now, something you wouldn't totally get without actually watching the show.

It's clear he's going to be #10 at the Rumble, so of course he loses on the way out.

EY vs Tye was outright bad. The best the show got was decent. AOP vs DIY was the match of the night and it was easily DIY's least impressive match they've had in NXT. Nak/Roode had zero chemistry, and not only that, but it seems like it was a test for him to work more traditional US TV style main events, and it didn't work well at all, imo. I disagree with every word you wrote there. EY-Tye was a completely fine opener. Crowd was into it and it didn't over shadow anything to come. AOP vs DIY was really good, I love a good hoss team and the match was like *** 1/4-1/2 level for me. A fine showing by both teams. I didn't see no chemistry with Roode-Nak. The first half was fine, a solid main event, but from the time Nak originally injured his knee to the end was really great stuff.

Wow, shocked by that review. I thought it was a solid match, until Nakamura's knee injury then I thought it was an amazing finishing stretch. The drama of Nanakmura's knee and Roode trying to end it was great. I'd go about *** 1/2, so not MOTYC or anything, but a good match.

People shitting on this show is very odd to me. A really solid show up and down, with nothing bad, and some really good stuff.

Thanks for the listen Chad! Kobashi is someone in contention for sure, Tim would had been the one to bring him up but he was on some pro American kick.

Nominating: Imposible vs Relampago (IWRG, 1/22) A really heated lucha match with an amazing beat down by the rudo for the first two falls. So much so the crowd (to be fair, a lot of them were his "clients") interfered giving the babyface water, distracting the referee, and saving him from future torture. The crowd brawling section was as good as I've seen that done in a long long time. Great match!

What's sad is that the roster is so devoid of top guys that Shane IS the biggest boy not tied up in something. The SD roster is so devoid of stars in particular that Shane really is the biggest name they can put AJ with even if they were to call up Joe or Nak. AJ vs Miz would be excellent. I'm sure it'd be a fine match, but I'm not talking about match quality. I'm talking about name quality, and Shane is literally the biggest name SD has after Cena. Sure, and Foley is the biggest name on Raw. SD has AJ, Cena, Randy Orton, Bray, Ambrose, Miz all of guys that are main eventers. Bardon Corbin is coming along as is Luke Harper. SD is not lacking on main eventers.

They really should go back to the SkyDome again or is 68k not enough people for a WrestleMania anymore.

I think Bryan bringing in Joe as his surrogate is the way to go with that.

Due to footage, you probably have: Chris Hero Daniel Bryan AJ Styles all having more 4 star matches than Flair. At the very least, I'm probably forgetting someone. Maybe a Samoa Joe or Rey Mysterio.

Batista would be a legend if he had a mini sidekick like Kenimoto like I always dreamed. Really under rated in general though.
